Chapter 369
Thursday April 5th, 2013. Rupert Giles held a meeting at the "Magick Shop." As a watcher he had held other meetings, but this was the largest. It included him, his wife Jenny, Quentin Travers, Wesley, Lauren, Faith, Riley, Forrest, Graham, colonel Mcnamara, Angel, Fred, Doyle, Ethan, Buffy, Gunn, Xander, Willow, Tara, even Spike. Quentin wasn't particularly impressed with this assortment of civilians and likely enemies. But the Watcher's resources and manpower were spread pretty thin. Watchers were looking for other pieces, but there were many. The Oracles advised him to ask for this group's help in finding five specific pieces. One was at the bottom of the ocean, one was in New Orleans, another held in a school for Magickal training, one held by a group known as the society of thieves. The final piece existed in another dimension known as Pylea. Sunnydale did have an immigrant from Pylea who might offer his help. As Travers laid out the case for helping everyone in the room agreed to help, knowing what was at stake. At least they were willing. Travers preferred to think that on some level the Oracles saw something in these people that he didn't.
