Chapter 371
As Xander packed his things on Friday night he left a note for his parents. He doubted that they'd care, but just in case, why worry them? As Giles divided up assignments somehow Xander was paired with Willow and Tara to go to the Magick school. Before Xander left he saw his copy of "Gorgostone." Last summer he'd played this game with Willow and Jessie. Now he seemed to be living it, and it kind of sucked. The five players had been the cleric, the nomad, the villain, the hermit, and the thief. It had been fun back then, deciding which character to be. There was a movie coming out this summer based on this game. Last year Xander had been looking forward to that movie. But after everything that happenned, he wasn't even sure he wanted to see it. Xander's team had to assemble the Chalice of life as he'd once tried to assemble the gorgostone. He couldn't remember ever winning and assembling the entire stone. Hopefully, with everything on the line, they could all do a little better.
