Riley, Fred, and Wesley analyzed the situation. This crowd had hundreds, at least one hundred seemed to want this trio dead. Fred had a gun in her purse, but limited bullets. The mob had all the exits covered. Then Gwen Raiden stepped forward. Gwen was a thief, but not a murderer. Gwen produced lightning from her body like emperor Palpatine. She threatened to hurt anyone who tried to kill her new friends. The crowd seemed afraid of Gwen Raiden. They let the four of them leave with the piece of the Chalice of life. The mission had been successful. They returned to Sunnydale with the piece of the Chalice, and a suprising new ally.
