Oh gosh! I am so sorry for not updating for so long(Over a Year and two months!)! Life gets in the way and school is stressful. My laptop unfortunately broke down - well I can't say that it broke down exactly, however, when I try to access my account, you know, type in my password. It just doesn't let me which is very upsetting. However, on a happier note I had already backed up all my documents and pictures to a USB so -wipes away worries- thank god I had that because my documents are my life pretty much. And I can't begin to imagine loosing my data and all the writing I had done for any future Maple Series One-shot.
Anyways, you may be thinking, yeah yeah, so you haven't been able to update because of school but why not during the summer?! Honestly, there was personal family drama that was running its course and some unneeded stress. Then, unfortunately, I could not write there was a moment of fear that perhaps I was actually beginning to have a fallout with Hetalia!
Turned out it was writers block, but for Hetalia only? Because I actually got into the Walking Dead fandom and had written a little something-something for the kinkmeme. That however is unimportant. -Clears throat- So, what could have been thought of as a fallout was actually me becoming more diverse among fandoms because, Unf! Have you seen Daryl Dixon? Okay Okay, I'm done.

Anyways, as I was saying, I am getting back into writing and I really need to look back at my earlier one-shots and I really need to fix them. Because I have an account over on Archive of Our Own and I'm going to be adding these one-shots over there. Did you know you can make multiple side accounts? I'm really abusing that... All of it is under the name of Kage_no_Akuma_Shadow_Demon and there's one with that name K_n_A_S_D which is actually kind of funny because its like; Kage_no_Akuma_Shadow_Demon(Kage_no_Akuma_Shadow_Demon ) and I'm sort of like; Er, maybe I can change that? But it's my main Pseud so I suppose I can't. I have another one by the name of Scarlet (that one is for the Walking Dead tbh) and I made another with the name; Maple Series. So, yeah, just so you know~ However, I have no Hetalia stories on that account yet. I'll tell you when I do. Because I actually have a RusCan One-shot I haven't posted anywhere yet~ Except on my tumblr...But I'm setting up a side tumblr account for my maple series so patience please.

Warning: Possible shittyness, not really focused on Character C (Prussia) noticing Character A's (Germany) fear of Character B(Canada). Though, it is somewhat focused on that fear and how Canada takes it which in turn gets Germany to react and I'm terrible at explaining.
There are haunting memories that still take Germany's attention from time to time. The rhythmical beat of his heart followed by that ever-present feeling of fear that suffocates and stills him. Sweat coming onto his skin when he catches sight of the Canadian, who smiles as sweet as that maple syrup he doused his pancakes in. It does nothing to calm him, nothing does. He can still remember the wars, he against the Canadian.
He's sure Matthew is still mad. Insane as that though is it would make sense and it offers him comfort. Such he had not gotten before. It's only luck that no one has figured out his fear before.
But then he notices the way Gilbert looks at him, the Prussian with his brow raised in curiously before looking between him and Matthew.
Ludwig pretends he doesn't notice and looks over documents and other paperwork.
It's only his luck that Gilbert grabs him one day and pulls him aside.
"Why do you look at Canada like that?" He asks arms crossed over his chest, obviously not going to let him loose until he admits to his troubles.
Ludwig wants to sigh in frustration, however he knows Gilbert is only worrying for him.
"I cannot see him as he is now." Ludwig states stiffly and Gilbert raises a brow.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Gilbert says.
"I cannot see him as anyone other than the Canadian soldier who continued to fight even though he was half dead." Realization dawns on the Prussian.
"You are scared of him." Gilbert states and Ludwig turns his head away.
"Ja." He admits, because this was his brother and Gilbert wouldn't laugh or tease him for it.
"You should have told me." Gilbert said, now feeling guilty for his pleasantries with the Canadian.
"Nien, no one except you knows either way." Ludwig says, sighing as he runs a hand through neat hair. "Let's keep it that way."
Gilbert nods, both unaware of the other person listening in.
And listen in they do, violet eyes growing wide and shushing the talking polar bear before it can make a comment of; "Who are you?" or "I'm hungry."
…
Matthew seems to avoid the German at all costs, meetings, after meeting parties, gatherings, etcetera.
It should have relieved the German, however it only made him feel…annoyed. For whatever reason and despite the fear that consumes him…
Blood and gore. Many dead but many more alive and fighting. Pain and misery.
They could see them, the Canadians - some even half dead still fighting until death comes to claim them fully.
Matthew, missing an arm and a bayonet hanging from his stomach, until the Canadian's only hand grips the steel and pulls it out, blood staining the front of his uniform even as he comes after Ludwig with eyes cold to the core and yet filled to the brim with an inferno of hatred.
Many were already retreating and Ludwig almost falls when he turns to do the same, all dogs with tails between their legs.
…he still wants to see the Canadian, even if it would nearly send him into a panic attack from memories that come unbidden.
He is able to catch sight of Matthew and pushes passed others to get to the Canadian. It's only his luck when his hand clenches onto the other's wrist and Matthew gasps, looking surprised as he looks at him with confusion and even a little suspicion.
"Mr. Germany?" Matthew says with obvious perplexity, the duo alone seeing as the rest of the nations had left and Ludwig swallows nervously, slowly releasing his grip on the Canadian.
"Sorry…" He leaves off, realizing he had nearly nothing to say to the Canadian.
"Er…Would you like to get coffee?" Matthew finally says after a moment of awkward silence.
"Ja." Ludwig says, nodding and allowing Matthew to go on first because even if he took it upon himself to speak to the Canadian he cannot let Matthew trail behind him for fear of that the Canadian would strike.
…
Matthew sips at earl grey tea, looking at Ludwig from beneath pale lashes as the German drinks his black coffee with a quiet sigh of delight.
The Canadian finds his lips up-tilt even if Ludwig hardly looked in his direction throughout the time they spent together in that small café.
It is a start.
Seeing as Matthew knew the German's secret. And Matthew holds in any laughter that comes with it.
Him, scary? The very notion seems laughable, but laughing might hurt Ludwig's feelings and Matthew - for whatever reason - wants Ludwig to like him. He wants Ludwig to be pleased with his company.
Perhaps that is one of the reasons why he avoided the German like the plague.
It held good and bad results.
Perhaps, perhaps they could grow used of each other's company.
Kage: Sorry for leaving it there but I believed that was an okay stopping point a sort of ambiguous ending in the question of how Germany and Canada's relationship could be taken from that point onward and such.
Review if you believe I deserve one(but I don't really) and polite criticism is appreciated.
