Buffy watched Dawn's body. Joyce hadn't come back yet, probably for the best. Buffy had no idea how to explain any of this to their mother. Best case scenario Joyce grounded Buffy for Dawn being in danger. But what if Dawn never woke up? What if Dawn woke up as a vampire? Could Ben maybe find the right excorcism? Buffy knew other vampires lived in Sunnydale without killing. But they were still soulless monsters. What if Dawn couldn't control herself? Could Buffy really bring herelf, she couldn't even think those words. They were in Dawn's room Buffy watched Dawn's reflection in the mirror. So far she still had one. At what point would the reflection dissapear? Buffy wasn't sure which she dreaded more, Dawn never waking up, or waking up without a reflection. When Dawn finally opened her eyes Buffy felt greatly relieved. Then Buffy looked over at the mirror. There was nothing wrong with the mirror, Buffy could see her own reflection fine. But Dawn's reflection was gone, probably forever.
