Chapter 433
Dawn woke up in her own bed. She remembered those vampires attacking her, then passing out. But if she was in her own bedroom everything was probably fine. Buffy was standing over Dawn, ready to cry.

Dawn: It's fine, I'm okay.
Buffy: No, you're not. I'm so sorry.
Dawn: I feel okay. A bit hungry.
Buffy: Look in the mirror.

Dawn looked in the mirror, nothing. She did feel somewhat different, could this be true? It seemed to be, Dawn was a vampire. Dawn was scared, of this new life, of Buffy. She asked Buffy "What now." Buffy knew it was soppossed to be her job to kill vampires. Dawn was suppossed to be her enemy. But all Buffy could see was Dawn's face. She'd known Dawn for most of Buffy's life, and all of Dawn's. Buffy would protect Dawn, even now. She had to set rules, like not killing innocents. But noone would ever hurt Dawn again.
