Ben knew he had failed Dawn. As a man of science he knew there was likely nothing that could be done. But he still took a loss of life very personally. Ben refused to give up. Maybe Doc could find the right excorcism. He also refused to give up on Glory's victims. If his "sister" was really back she was still draining people's mental energy, makingthem raving lunatics. Maybe there was some way to save them. In the old days Ben had summonned a demon, known as the Quellar demon, to kill these people, put them out of their misery. But now that Ben was completely free of Glory, life was much more precious to him. But, on Friday April 26th, Ben walked into the hospital Psych ward, and all the patients were dead. He recognied the slime in their mouths, the Quellar demon was back. Glory could've summonned this thing, but she had never cared about mercy before. Maybe Glory wanted to attract less attention, but if so why didn't she simply snap their necks after the brain drain? Ben considered another possibility. Maybe the Quellas demon was summonned by the very person who had taught Ben how to do it. He began to wonder if he could really trust Doc.
