Buffy was at the hospital. Ben said Faith would be okay, she just needed time to recover. And she would still get a thorough exam before seeing visitors. Giles came for Buffy.
Buffy: The doctor said Faith would be fine.
Giles: That's good. From what I understad Faith was clinically dead, until you revived her.
Buffy: Yeah. I tried to do CPR, then I felt this new strength come, and I saved her. How did you know she was clinically dead?
Giles: A slayer died Buffy.
Buffy: Just for a minute.
Giles: Clearly it doesn't matter for how long. A new slayer was chosen. Quentin Travers called me. Based on this evidence, and the fact that new strength came to you so suddenly...
Buffy: No. No, I don't want it to be me. I thought that helping Dawn disqualified me.
Giles: Apparently not. Buffy, you are the new vampire slayer.
