Chapter 451
On Saturday night Buffy went to see Dawn again. Despite helping this particular vampire, and allying with others, the Powers that be still chose Buffy as the new slayer. Maybe they saw something in her that noone else saw, including Buffy. As Buffy went to Spike's crypt she saw Dracula Her instincts told her that he was there to corrupt Dawn. She rushe Dracula, they fought briefly. Then Dracula transformed into mist, and back again.

Dracula: You cannot defeat me slayer. Even if you drive that stake through my heart I will ressurect myself.
Buffy: Yea, I've seen your movies, you always come back. I'm still willing to test that theory. Why are you here?
Dracula: To invite you, and your friends, to a party. One week from tonight. At the castle that bears my name. Consider this gathering as a way for both sides, good and evil, to get to know each other. A truce summit to discuss how we will defeat our common enemy. And for the council, a way to let everyone know we're back. That we are not afraid of the slayer, nor ar we neccessarily her enemy. I hope to see you there.
