Colonel Mcnamara waited anxiously for Forrest to return. They had gone to the Circle of the Black Thorn in the morning, it was now early evening. Then Adam came, with Forrest. But Forrest was different, part cyborg, part demon. He looked like an inferior version of Adam.

Mcnamara: What the hell happenned?
Forrest: I was wounded. Adam and his friend healed me.
Mcnamara: How were you wounded?
Adam: I drove wood through his heart.
Mcnamara: Killing my men was never a part of our deal.
Adam: Murdering my lieutenant was the only way to gain their trust. But that would've been a waste of resources, hence me and my associate remade Forrest.
Mcnamara: You'll understand if I don't thank you.
Adam: Yes, especially since Forrest is now mine.
Mcnamara: Excuse me?
Forrest: He's right. I serve Adam now.
Mcnamara: Son you are a soldier in the United States army.
Forrest: I died in the army. That essentially voids my contract with said army. I work for a new future now.
Mcnamara: And what future would that be exactly.
Adam: That's not important yet. We will maintain our alliance for now. After that, we'll see.
