Chapter 461
After Faith died Richard Wilkins and Edna Mae went to see her in the hospital. They were both there for their child, As president Richard Wilkins gave an official story, a radical splinter group from Sarah's militia who thought monsters were real. Rondell and his cohorts were eliminated in prison. By Friday afternoon the president was back to working on the Sloboda conflict. Edna Mae stayed in Sunnydale. Faith appreciated this, but wasn't sure what to do now. It seemed like she was suppossed to die on that day, but Buffy refused to give up. Buffy, it seemed, was the slayer now. Faith was an anomoly, a glitch in the cosmic order. The more Faith thought about this the angrier she got. Some anger was at Buffy, some at herself. Much was at the vampires. Faith believed Holtz when he said he had nothing to do with her death. Early Sayurday morning Faith went to see Daniel Holtz. Dracula's party was tonight, they had to do this. Justine was here, so was principal Wood. Dave, Rhonda, and Cain had apparently had enough. Holtz and his wife were true believers, Wood's mother had been killed by a vampire. This was all that was left of their group, they would all have to work together.
Faith: How can the four of us take down all those vampires? I'm not sure I'm even the slayer anymore.
Holtz: I've been in contact with the Gypsy tribe who cursed Angelus. They gave me a device, a sound bomb, for lack of a better term. It can only be used once, so we use it when the vampires are all in one place. It will incapacitate them all for a few minutes. The four of us will use that time to kill all of them, and retrieve their piece of the Chalice of life.
