Chapter 476
While Illyria's team retrieved the Codex Ben recieved information from an unlikely source, Jinx. Ben recognized Jinx as one of Glory's minions, from the same species as the others. Ben came home and Jinx was there, scared and wounded.

Ben: What the hell are you doing here?
Jinx: I cmae to help you.
Ben: I don't need help from anyone on Glory's team.
Jinx: I no longer serve the great Glorificus. I am a traitor.
Ben: I thought you were bound by some ancient oath.
Jinx: I was. Decades ago there was a civil war amongst my people. Glory sided with my tribe, slaughtered our enemies. In return we swore eternal allegiance. But now, her chance to return home is gone. She is taking her vengeance out on all life. If we do not stop this, all our peoples will die as well.
Ben: Then why are your friends still working for her?
Jinx: They still feel bound by the oath, I do not.
Ben: How is Glory still alive?
Jinx: Glory feared that harm could befall you, that you might take your own life, ending hers as well. She asked Doc to remove you.
Ben: Why would Doc help her?
Jinx: He has always served Glorificus. An expert on ressurection, we recruited him to raise you and her if you died.
Ben: That excorcism, he didn't expect me to survive, did he?
Jinx: No. This required a battle between you and Glory for control of the body. We underestimated you, and your will to live. Glory was expelled, but too powerful to simply not exist. She bonded with the Master vampire. They share this vessel, like you once did. That is why he is so much stronger than he should be. Strong enough to open the Hellmouth and destroy all life forever.
