Chapter 480

With Dracula's help Jessie actually sold the screenplay that he'd written with Cordelia. Vampires were popular, "Vampire diaries" was getting a spin-off. Some of the studios had been trying to make a movie about the legendary slayer for years, they just couldn't get her release. This studio wanted the first movie to introduce Buffy, Faith, Angel and Spike. They wanted a trilogy while vampires were still trendy and profitable. The second film could focus on Angel and Spike's friendship. And the third flm would focus on Buffy and Faith. Because he was in the business now Jessie and Colin knew what projects were being developed. Some of what they'd seen might've sickened them as humans. "Dexter" where the hero was a serial killer. "Last resort" a show where the hero threatened to nuke D.C. On Friday a new movie was coming out with Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson, basically a musical version of "Thelma and Louise." Other shows scheduled for the fall included a show set in the 1940's about a nazi spy ring. One about a group of pedophiles where one of them might be an undercover agent. Peter Gilmore, high priest in charge of the church of Satan, had been giving interviews lately denouncing Pete and Debbie's kidnapping ring. Now he was being given his own reality show. Despite these prospects one new show woud likely take the title of sickest show on television. The studio was going to court to claim it's right to have a game of Russian Roullette. It was suppossed to be a one-shot reality show. Five players, a gun with six chambers. There was a possibility they'd all survive. Jessie might've lost his soul, his conscience, but even he didn't find this stuff particularly appealing. Or maybe he just didn't have much imagination.
