(Tsuna's POV)

Another day, I thought.

Another day of being bullied and being an outcast of the class.

But somehow, I knew, that I could endure it. As long as Shina-san was there.

The thought of her made me smile, something I found weird with myself.

Speaking of Shina-san, there was something wrong with her last night. I wasn't sure why, but she suddenly seemed distant.

I wondered if something happened?

But it couldn't be, right? Shina-san was the type of girl who would always be happy. She was also a chatterbox, unlike me.

Somehow, the feeling in my gut tells me that something wrong is going to happen. Soon.

BUMP!

Before I knew it I found myself sitting on the floor. I looked ahead and saw a pole.

Oh.

So that was what happened. I was so preoccupied with Shina-san's situation that I hadn't realize there was a pole just in my way.

"Sawada-san!" A familiar voice called out. I heard a couple of running footsteps towards me and the voice spoke again. "Are you alright?"

Quite out of daze, I replied. "Yes." I looked around to see...Sasagawa-san?

"Sasagawa-san?" I blurted out.

She blinked, and spoke. "Yes?"

Thinking of no response, I took my bag and slung it over my shoulder. Quite embarrassed at the fact I doze off, hit a pole and someone saw me, I gave a small bow and took my leave.

"Ah, Sawada-san! Wait!" She shouted, loud and clear.

I stopped and turned back to her, though wishing that she would just let me go. She jogged towards me.

"I was thinking of asking you something. Could I?" She started. I nodded, giving her the signal of telling me whatever it was.

"Well, the pictures I saw the other day on your phone," She gave a smile. "Were they yours?"

I nodded, wondering what did that have to do with this.

"So you took those amazing photos?" She said with excitement.

"I wouldn't call them amazing, but if that's what you think, then yeah." I replied.

"Then would you mind taking some pictures for me?" She asked. "You see, I visit the local orphanage every week. And one of the child there can't go outside because of a disease."

I nodded as she started walking.

"The child ask me to take pictures of the outside world, that she would be please with only that." Sasagawa-san continued.

"So you want me to take pictures of nature?" I asked, not quite sure what she was actually asking me to do.

"No no!" Sasagawa-san giggled. "The child, Momo, had a lists of things she wants to see. I thought that maybe later, after school, if you want to do it...?"

"If I could help her, then I'll do it." I replied.

"Perfect!" Sasagawa-san smiled. "Then right after school, at the park."

I nodded as she ran along to the entrance. Not noticing it myself, I was already at school.

Huh? Where was Shina-san? Was she late?

I frowned as I walked to the entrance.

That feeling again, he thought, that something bad was going to happen.

Lunchbreak

The bell rang, signalling all the students in the school that it was their lunch break. Tsuna couldn't stop feeling that something was about to happen, something bad. For the whole class time, he couldn't concentrate properly. Not that he had concentrated properly before.

But there was something wrong. He knew it.

He took out his lunch box, the one his mother made for him. He shoved one of his hands in his pocket, making sure the charm was there. He felt the silk and with the promise in mind, he stepped out of the classroom.

He climbed up the stairs, making sure no one knew he was heading for the rooftop. He creaked the door to the rooftop open, the light escaping through the door.

He stepped outside, squinting at the sudden bright light. Once his eyes had adjusted, he sat back at the place where he and Shina always sat on.

10 minutes passed, but Shina was not here yet.

Tsuna started to think worriedly. Did something happened to her? Was something wrong?

Then the door creaked open. Tsuna snapped out of his trance and gazed at the door, expecting Shina to come, apologizing and saying that she was late.

His eyes caught an orange hair. There, Sasagawa Kyoko, the idol of the school came in.

"Sasagawa-san?" Tsuna called out. "Why are you here?"

"I thought that if it was alright, I could eat here?" She gave a smile.

"I'm alright with it." He says.

"Hold up, tiger." Kurokawa Hana stepped out to the light. Her face was scrunched up. "Why is it so bright in here? Anyways, you ain't going to have Kyoko to yourself you little monkey." She sneered.

"I'm just waiting for a friend." Tsuna says, fiddling with the charm on his right pocket.

"Oh?" Hana peered over to the boy, Tsuna feeling intimidated. Hana could see that the boy was not lying, he really had no intention of doing anything to Kyoko.

"Oh, Sawada-san. This is my friend, Kurokawa Hana-chan." She introduced, and Hana gave a cold, "Not happy to know you."

They sat down infront of him and started to have a conversation. Tsuna, quite distracted at the moment was occupied with the absence of his friend. He gave a quick nod to his classmates, making sure he was catching up to their conversation.

"You agree that you're just a little wimp in the class?" Hana raised an eyebrow, her gaze suspicious.

Tsuna snapped and realized at what she had just said. He shook his head quickly, embarrassed. "No."

"Then why'd you nod?" Hana interrogates.

"I'm sorry, I'm just a little distracted." He spoke, wanting to leave the rooftop out of embarrassment. But not yet, there were 10 minutes before lunch break was over. He was hoping that Shina-san would come.

He looked at his clock anxiously. 11:57

"Sawada-san," Kyoko called out to him, which Tsuna replied a "Yes?" to.

"Are you really alright? If you don't want to eat lunch with us then-"

RING~

"That's the bell. Let's go Kyoko." Hana gathered her stuff and stood up, patting the excess dirt that would have went to her skirt. Kyoko gave a glance at Tsuna then nodded at Hana.

"Do you want to go to class together, Sawada-san?" Kyoko offered.

Tsuna stood up and shook his head. "No thanks."

Hana tugged at Kyoko's clothes and led her out of the rooftop.

The boy left alone in the rooftop gazed at the sky.

Shina-san...what happened?
