Chapter 491

Riley remembered as a child watching old cartoons from world war II. Maybe they were propoganda, but things seemed clear in those cartoons. America represented good, Nazism represented evil. Evil was defeated. After that things got complcated. The communists, once America's allies, became enemies. It seemed to Riley that lines between good and evil were becoming more and more blurred. Especially now, with Forrest. Riley had tried to get Forrest to accept Christ, he had failed. Now Forrest, was he dead? Was he even capable of being saved? What would happed if Riley had to kill Forrest in battle? Riley didn't judge Buffy for not killing Dawn, he probably couldn't kill Forrest, or Samantha if she was turned. Riley wanted revenge against Adam. But even if he were strong enough, Adam was a neccessary ally. Riley hated how things were becoming so damn complicated.
