Chapter 514
On Friday May 24th principal Wood walked the halls of Sunnydale high. The banners still read "Graduation ceremony, 10am, June 6th, 2013. That was now only 13 days away. But there were noo too few students and teachers to continue. Most had fled the town. Dr Gregory, Coach Marin, even superintendent Robert Flutie left Sunnydale when eternal darkness came. Some students, particularly Willow Rosenberg, were still coming to school every day. Vice-principal Snyder even suggested keeping the school open for the few students who actually wanted to learn. That man seemed fanatically devoted to order. As much as Robin Wood valued education, there were other priorities at the moment. June 6th was the end, those still in Sunnydale had to be prepared to fight. So, on May 24th, principal Wood posted a message on the Sunnydale highschool website. This message also went out in e-mail to students, teachers, and parents.

"Due to unforseen disasters, Sunnydale highschool will be closing early this year. All diplomas will be sent to seniors who completed requirements. Paychecks to faculty will also be sent out. We hope to resume normal classes on Tuesday September 3rd 2013.
