In his underground lair the Master savored the victory. There were few humans left above, decaying flesh could be felt even here. His minions might be getting hungry, thus angrier and meaner. Just as humans fought over remaining food, so these vampires would fight over remaining humans. Some were being drawn to Sunnydale. The Master already had Glory and her minions, the Scourge, the Beast and it's old master. Recently other apocalyptic cults got involved in this coalition. Vahrall, the sisterhood of Jhe, Lubber demons, and now even Caleb. Caleb was as excited about the end as the Master, felt it was the will of his god. To Caleb the Master was damned, but more or less moonlighting for God for awhile. Thus this coalition for the apocalypse. Caleb even brought his old mentor Ms Holt here. Despite her initial fear, she seemed excited about fulfilling the Lord's work. Their enemies consisted of many, some were even coming to Sunnydale to fight the Master. They wanted the world to survive, for either altruistic or selfish reasons. The final battle was rapidly approaching. It semed that the two sides largely consisted of a coalition of good and evil, united against a coalition of good and evil.
