Chapter 528
Buffy woke up early Monday morning, specificall she was woken up, by Dawn. An instinct caused Buffy ta awake, just as Dawn was trying to drain her. This moment was perhaps inevitable. A slayer and a vampire couldn't ive together without one killing the other. Buffy fought back, and soon won. As Buffy reached for her stake Joyce fired her gun in the air. The fight had woken her up, now Joyce was doing what little she could to save both of her daughters. Buffy tried to take the gun away from her mother. They fought briefly until Buffy knocked her mother to the ground. Buffy decided to stake Dawn now. The longer this took the harder it became. But as Buffy went for Dawn her sister was jolted, Dawn's eyes glowed briefly. Then Dawn asked Buffy "what happenned?" Buffy was confused, could this be a trick of Dawn's? Dawn seemed confused, didn't even seem to realize she was a vampire. Buffy looked in the motel mirror, Dawn had a reflection again. Somehow Jenny, or someone else, had restored Dawn's soul. Buffy looked into Dawn's eyes, her sister had come back to her. They hugged, until Dawn saw her mother's body. She went over to her, but it was too late. Their mother was dead, her neck snapped. Buffy had killed her own mother.
