Chapter 531

As Buffy cried over her mother's body she closed her eyes. She had killed her own mother, how was she going to tell Dawn? How could she take care of Dawn, when Dawn had every reason to hate her. She wished she could just dissapear, wanted it over. When she opened her eyes Buffy seemed to have been granted this wish. She was back in the underworld, in Hades' domain. Hades himself was here, with a judge known as "Solomon." This place seemed like a courtroom, albeit in a cave.

.

Buffy: Am I dead?

Hades: Not yet. I summonned you here.

Buffy: Why?

Hades: I gave you the Chalice to stop the First. But instead you flee, left others to fight the good fight.

Buffy: I was scared. I tried to protect Dawn.

Hades: You have failed in your duties as a slayer. I will give you a chance to speak in your own defense. We will have a trial. Witnesses shall be called. You may cross-examine the ones you want. This judge will determine if you deserve another chance. If not, you will suffer the consequences I deem fit.
