I just watched HIMYM. To all the fans out there who wanted the Mother and Ted to be together, knows how I feel right now. I'm not spoiling anything because someone did that to me and I hated it, but I'm going through a lot of emotions right now. Comment if you know what I mean, I mean come on.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Hunger Games, duh!

Cato POV:

That made no sense. We were attacked by mutt monkeys and Clove was about to be killed. The mutt monkeys make sense for the arena, but what didn't was the Morphling. She deliberately put her life at stake for Clove's survival. I'm so thankful that Clove didn't end up like the morphling, however it makes no sense. Everyone in these games have killed, and are not hesitant to do it again. Everyone wants to make it home. Hell, if I needed to get Clove home, I would kill everyone, even our allies with my own hands if it meant Clove could go home. What also amazed me was Clove. She was so good with that woman, she was so kind. It showed everyone that people from District 2 are kind and are considerate. We care who we kill, and it hurts to do it. But we are all desperate kids, wanting to go home.

"She sacrificed herself and I didn't even know her name," Clove says, letting tears fall. "These damn hormones!" she viciously wipes the tears off her face, but more come.

"It's okay Clove," I say, wrapping my arms around her. And this is how we stand, her tears running down my neck and me holding her as tight as I can.

"Hey, lovebirds. I don't know if you can hear me right now over your little love fest, but we have food," Haymitch yells. I look over at him and glare at him. I hear Clove's stomach growl and I can't help but laugh.

"Your hungry, let's go over and see what Finnick got," I say, leading her over to the sand. When we get there I see things I've never seen before. I mean, I've seen them at the victory tour, but I never touched them.

"What is this?" Clove asks, tentatively picking up a closed shell.

"Those are clams, and these are oysters. I also got some fish," Finnick says, pointing out each item.

"Clams?" Clove asks in curiosity, turning over the smooth shell in her hands.

"Yup, if you open up the shell, there's some meat," he explains, picking one up, cracking the shell on the rock, then scooping up a chunk of meat inside and plopping it into his mouth. He smiles, chewing.

"And this is an oyster?" she asks again, setting down the calm and picking up half a shell. Except this is not as smooth and more rugged.

"Yeah, these are saltier, but in my personal opinion are the best," Finnick says.

"Okay, so how do you open them?" Clove asks.

"Well you take a knife and open it," Finnick says, showing us all how to open up the oyster. He swallowed it down, it looked pretty smily.

"What type of fish?" Haymitch asks.

"Trout, that's the only one I could find," he replies.

"So how are we going to cook it?" I ask, looking around at the jungle.

"Cook it? No, we eat it raw," Finnick says, smiling.

"No we don't. It could hurt the baby, nothing raw when Clove's pregnant," I say stubbornly. Anything that will hurt Clove or the baby, I will never let happen.

"Okay, okay fine," Finnick says. Clove smiles at me, and leans over to kiss me.

"If you want a fire, go get the wood," Haymitch says lazily from his spot.

"Okay," I say, getting up.

"I'm coming," Clove announces, getting up and following me into the jungle. I ask Clove to guard me as I start to hack branches off the tree. I hear Clove's humming as she watches me. When I'm almost done, the humming stops. Why would she stop in the middle of the song? I turn around to see a knife to Clove's neck.

"Blight," I say, slowly setting down the branches and picking up my combat sword.

"Hello Cato. I was just walking in the jungle when I heard beautiful humming. I came over to pay a visit to whoever it was," he says, a vicious smile on his face.

"Let her go," I say calmly. If I get to angry he might kill Clove right in front of me.

"Why should I?" Blight asks, as if he were debating it.

"Because if you kill her, I promise to make your death so painful that you would wish that you could die from Tracker Jackers, then from me," I say, still calm. Even though I was calm, Clove wasn't. She was struggling, scared.

"I don't think so, but I think you should watch while I slit your girl friend's throat," Blight says, raising the knife, about to do it. All of a sudden, his face contorts in pain. He drops his knife and holds his hand to his back. He pulls it away, and it is soaked in blood. Clove automatically runs away from him to me. Blight staggers, and then falls to his knees. I walk over slowly and I kick him him over by the chest. He falls pitifully to the ground, breathing fast. I raise my knife above his chest.

"Go to hell," I say, bringing it down. Blight lets out a yelp of pain, then stops breathing. I turn Blight over to see what weapon killed him.

"Your welcome," Finnick says when he walks out of the trees. He comes over to us and pulls out a mini trident that was stuck in Blight's back.

"Thank you Finnick," I say. Clove mumbles it too, but she's in shock right now. Finnick just smirks and walks back. I quickly grab the wood and walk back to the beach with Clove at my side. When we're back we set up a fire and begin cooking the fish.

"You scared me Clove," I say, wrapping her in for a hug.

"I've had two to many close death experiences," Clove jokes, although there's no humor in her voice. After the fish is done, and everyone's ate we sit and watch the waves. My back is resting against a tree and Clove is in between my legs, resting her back on my chest.

"Ten," Clove says.

"It can't be ten deaths," I say, looking over at the waves. All of a sudden I hear a scream. Me and Clove scramble up, grabbing our weapons and looking around for the source of danger. All of a sudden crashing resonates throughout the arena. I look around just in time to see a huge wave. It barrels through the forest, knocking down the trees, and comes straight out into the beach. I look in amazement as the water approaches the Cornucopia, however it doesn't keep going. As if there was a wall, the water travels up, then as if the wall broke, the water came towards us. Luckily we were done eating, because the wave washed out all of the remains of our brunch.

"Wow," Haymitch said, still shocked by how the water traveled up the invisible wall. All I could do was nod. The cannon went off and a hovercraft came over and picked up a body. From what I could see, the body was crushed by the waves, because it was flatter than a normal body should be.

"Some one's coming," Clove says, then she hides behind some leaves. We all follow suit and hide. Then I hear some yelling. I watch as a red figure pushes another red figure to the ground. Was this another mutt?

"Johanna!" Finnick yelled, running from his hiding spot to embrace his friend. Haymitch also runs over to see the other people in their little alliance. I look over to Clove.

"I guess we have new allies."
