Chapter 538

Spike at first thought he was dead, then he looked around. Buffy, Dawn, Faith, everyone here seemed to be alive. But how did Spike get here exactly? This was the cafeteria at Sunnydale high. Spike wasn't the only one who appeared out of nowhere to this meeting. Buffy was suprised at this turn of events, but grateful to any help she could get. She explained the Chalice of life, just in case any newcomers weren't aware. Even those who knew still needed a reminder, a final chance to change their minds. They needed to prick their fingers on the Chalice to give a little of their blood. Buffy would drink the blood from the Chalice before her final battle with the Master. If the Master won and drank from Buffy this blood would destroy the Master and all his minions. But this would also kill everyone who gave their blood. It had to be their choice. If anyone left, Buffy couldn't blame them. But they had to make this choice now. Faith had already given her blood, others soon followed. Some left, others decided to fight. Some choices were expected, others were suprising.
