Chapter Twenty-One
"What?" Addie asked, kind of worried.
"You're a Warren Witch!" Phoebe said, grinning.
"What?" Piper, Paige and Addie said at the same time. "How?" Piper added on.
"Addie is descended from our ancestor Alice Warren's brother, Jack." Phoebe said. "According to this, the magical gene was dormant until you were born."
"So my last name was Warren?" Addie asked. When Phoebe nodded, she made a scoffing noise. "Winchester is so much cooler." Sam and Dean both laughed at this.
"Hey this means I was right yesterday." Dean said and everyone looked at him. "When Addie showed me the Book and it wouldn't let me touch it, I said maybe it's because she was a distant cousin or something. I didn't know she really was." Addie grinned at her older brother and nudged him with her shoulder.
"Looks like a bit of precog there, Dean." She teased, "maybe you should take lessons with Phoebe." Addie smiled at him as he shuddered at the thought. She loved teasing him.
"So Dora is your cousin?" Sam asked.
"Yes, it says here she was born 'Rainbow Lotus Warren' but that her name was changed to 'Adora Lotus Winchester' when she was six months old and her parents died in a house fire." Phoebe said. "There's a spell so we can go back and watch what happened, but it was probably Azazel."
"The demon dad was hunting." Dean said, and Phoebe nodded.
"He came here just before we found Addie, trying to get information on how to kill it. Grams had fought him before and knew about the gun that Samuel Colt made to kill all supernatural creatures. She wrote about it in the Book and we told him. He had actually just left when Leo orbed in with Addie." Piper said, "she was so broken, we weren't sure he could heal her. I don't think she would have been completely healed if it weren't for Wyatt, just like with the other night." Sam frowned, he hadn't realized how close his Dora had been to death on more than one occasion.
"So what you're saying is that Leo was called to help Addie in St. Louis?" Dean asked, "and he brought her here? That's why we couldn't find her?" The sisters all nodded and Dean continued. "How bad did that Shifter beat her?"
"Every bone in her body was broken, she had punctures in her lungs, kidneys and liver and a very nasty head wound." Piper answered, "she was unconscious when he brought her in, and he said he would have healed her there except he didn't know when that Shifter would come back. So he brought her here. When she woke up, she had no memories of who she was. She mentioned being called Addie and that's what we started calling her."
"All I had was instinct." Addie said leaning against Sam, who was holding her tightly to his side like he never wanted to let her go. "I woke up and didn't know anything about myself, except this strange feeling about my name. It was a nightmare and I didn't want to leave the room for weeks. Phoebe sat with me and we just stared out the window, neither of us saying anything. I can't tell you how scary it is to not know anything about yourself." Tears began to well up as she remembered the hopeless feeling she had the first few weeks after waking up and not knowing who she was or anything about herself. Dean looked at her with sadness in his eyes.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you Addie," he said. "It was my idea that we split up to look for the Shifter, but I should have known he'd go after you as that was his M.O. It was dumb to think that he would come after one of us." Addie shook her head, denying Dean's guilt.
"Dean, we all agreed with your plan and he was killing innocent women by taking the face of the one they love the most to rape and kill her." Addie said, "I'm just glad that I could tell the difference and fight him off for as long as I did." Sam stiffened before looking at her.
"He used my face?" Sam asked. Addie nodded, not wanting to add that he'd used Dean's as well. She didn't think Sam would take that very well. "And you knew it wasn't me? How?"
"He was too rough," Addie explained. "And his eyes were too cold. I could tell by the look in his eyes that he didn't love me and that it wasn't you, even if he acted, looked and sounded like you." Sam pulled her close, kissing her fully on the mouth.
"I do love you, Dora." Sam said, "more than life itself." Addie smiled back at Sam before turning to her sisters.
"I don't need to know what happened to the family I was born into, it's the past." She said, "I know that Dad pulled me out of the fire because he thought it had been set by Azazel and that he was saving me from the demon. He may or may not have been, but I was raised by him. He is my father." Phoebe nodded, while Paige and Piper beamed at her. Dean wiped a tear away from his eye as Addie's declaration had moved him. "You are my family. I don't need anyone else." She leaned against Sam who pulled her in close and kissed her temple.
"We understand, Addie." Paige said, looking at their small family. It was complete, except for Leo, who was out doing something Whitelighter related, Wyatt, who was taking a nap and Zoe, who was currently AWOL. She understood knowing that they were family and as such, they had each others backs.
"We should go do something not supernatural or club related this afternoon." Phoebe said, "we went to the mall yesterday, but there has to be something we can do that isn't directly involved in what we do."
"We could go see a movie." Paige suggested, "or just go on a picnic."
"I like the movie idea," Dean said. "But which one?"
"Comedy!" Piper said, "we've been really down today so let's watch something funny."
"Blades of Glory just came out and it's supposed to be funny," Phoebe said.
"Isn't that the one with Napoleon Dynamite in it?" Addie asked, "and that idiot I don't like?"
"That's the one!" Paige said, "it should be funny."
"Okay then," Addie said. "I'd rather watch something scary, but Piper is right about us needing to be cheered up a bit."
"There aren't usually any good scary movies out in April anyways," Paige reminded Addie. "We usually get those in mid Summer."
"Right," Addie said. "Well, Blades of Glory doesn't sound too bad. Let's watch that." Everyone nodded and got ready to head out. Just as Piper was getting Wyatt ready to go, Leo orbed in and said he didn't mind staying at home with the baby while they went to see a movie. Jumping at the chance for some alone time with her husband, Piper insisted that the rest go without her as well. The Impala easily sat five people, so Dean drove them to the movie theater and they enjoyed the movie, as well as each others company. After the movie was over, they decided to stop and get some food, so Piper wouldn't have to cook lunch for everyone.
After eating, the group headed home and pulled into the driveway as Leo was heading out with Piper and Wyatt. They paused and told the rest of their family that Leo had gotten two weeks off and that he was taking Piper and Wyatt on a vacation. Paige and Phoebe smiled at them, while Addie assured Piper that they wouldn't burn the house down while she was gone.
The fivesome went inside, ready to spend the rest of the afternoon doing whatever. Phoebe had some things to do for her article, as her fill-in hadn't gotten there yet. Elise, her boss, said that an advice columnist named Leslie St. Clair would be ghost writing her column during her sabbatical from the paper. Phoebe was nervous about having someone else pretend to be her, but was also excited, as it gave her some much needed time off to help Addie with wedding things. Speaking of wedding things, she was going to have to talk to Addie about that. She honestly didn't know what Addie wanted, but knew she wasn't going to let her delay it because of Zoe. Phoebe had made a promise and she was determined to keep it.
Back at the house, Paige and Addie were brewing more vanquishing potions. They had some ready to go, but needed more just in case of another demon attack. Sam and Dean were bringing in the weapons to store in the training room so they could be taken care of properly. As the guys hauled in their things, they talked about what they could do to help the sisters with the demon problem in San Francisco. They came to the conclusion that just being there to help them fight was probably the best thing they could do. They walked into the kitchen where Addie and Paige were giggling over the cauldron.
"What's so funny?" Sam asked, crossing to where the girls were. Addie looked up at him, grinning with bright orange eyebrows. He stopped, and snorted as Paige looked up with hers bright orange as well.
"We were standing too close to the cauldron and got hit in the face with the steam. It apparently has interesting side effects." Addie said, giggling again.
"Can you change it back?" Dean asked, more amused than anything.
"Most likely." Addie answered him. "We have to wait a couple of hours though. It's still kinda fresh with the magical steam and other magic won't work against it.
"The last time I got steamed like this, my hair turned red." Paige said, "that was just before you came, Addie. I looked through every book I could to find a solution, but it had to fade naturally."
"I changed it once, remember?" Addie said.
"Yeah, but for like two minutes." Was Paige's response. "It didn't stay brown."
"I changed it back." Addie said, grinning. "Remember?" Paige thought about it for a moment before nodding.
"Oh yeah, I remember now." She said, smiling. Addie laughed while Sam and Dean looked confused. "Why don't you say a spell to change them now?"
"If it doesn't work, then we won't be able to change them back for a while." Addie said. Paige nodded, she didn't really want to walk around with orange eyebrows and Addie continued, "I could change our hair to match for the afternoon." Paige nodded and Addie thought a moment before chanting. "Our eyebrows are a bright color, that is blocked by magic to change. Make our hair match until it wears off, so no one thinks we're strange." Their hair immediately turned a bright orange color to match their eyebrows. "When our eyebrows can be turned back to normal, our hair will change to normal." Sam grinned at her.
"You look beautiful with orange hair, Dora." He said, "wanna go for a walk, or something?" Addie looked at him and smiled.
"I could actually go for a nap until Phoebe gets home," she said walking out of the kitchen. Sam just stood there surprised as she walked away until she looked at him and smirked. "Are you gonna join me?" Sam blushed while Paige and Dean chuckled at him.
"Yeah, I'm coming." He said, following her upstairs. After they left, Dean turned to Paige.
"So, wanna hang out or something until the lovebirds wake up?" He asked her. Paige grinned at him and nodded.
"Wanna play poker?" Paige suggested, "I used to be pretty good in high school." Dean nodded seriously.
"I am pretty good at poker myself." He said.
"Maybe we should bet on something." Paige suggested. Dean looked at her and raised his eyebrow.
"What did you have in mind?" Was his next question.
"Well, Phoebe and Addie always bet on clothes, but I don't think that would work for you," Paige said, thinking out loud.
"How about this," Dean suggested. "You win, I will take you out to dinner. A nice dinner out. I win, you have to make dinner for everyone in the house."
"That can be toxic, I'm a horrible cook." Paige objected.
"Ok then, how about you have to agree to orb me anywhere I want to go for a day." Dean said.
"So if I win, you take me out to dinner, if you win I'm your orb slave for a day?" Paige clarified, Dean nodded and Paige smiled. "I think we have ourselves a bet, Dean." Dean grinned and reached out to shake her hand.
A couple of hours later, Addie and Sam came downstairs to see Paige and Dean laughing over a pile of cards. There was a large pile of chips by Paige and not very many by Dean.
"You are so cheating," Dean said with laughter in his voice. "No one is that good at cards."
"I was president of our high school Matheletes," Paige said. "We learned how to play poker to figure the odds and stuff."
"Seriously?" Dean said, "I didn't have you pegged as a nerd."
"Nah, I just like math." Paige said, "I pretty much slacked off in every other subject." Dean snorted.
"Sam was on the Matheletes team too. He was so smart, he got a full ride to Stanford." Dean said, Addie paused at the door, waiting to see what Dean would say next. Sam came in behind her and paused as well.
"He must be seriously smart then." Paige said, "Stanford is an amazing school."
"Yeah, he's smart, it's really awesome actually." Dean said, pride evident in his voice. "Sammy has always been good with learning and studying things. Addie's always been more of a creator. She can do just about anything with words and I think that's why she's so good at those last minute spells."
"I think you're right." Paige said, dealing another hand, "Addie is amazing when it comes to words. She can write beautiful little stories and her spellwork is fantastic." Addie looked up at Sam and smiled, glad to know that Dean and Paige were getting along so well. She jumped when Paige suddenly exclaimed, "Hah! I win! You owe me dinner, Winchester!" Dean laughed at the antics of the witch in front of him.
"You are really competitive, Paige." He said, laughter still evident in his voice.
"I really am," Paige answered, with a cheeky tone. "Much like your sister." Addie decided she'd had enough eve's dropping and walked into the dining room with Sam following.
"Whatcha doing?" She asked, sitting next to Dean.
"Talking about you," Paige said. "And beating Dean at poker." Addie raised her eyebrows.
"That's really hard to do, Dean is amazing at poker." She observed.
"Yeah, but I'm better." Paige said, grinning smugly. "And now he owes me dinner." Addie took a moment to laugh before looking at the mock angry face that Dean had.
"When do you want to go, Paige?" Dean asked her, good-naturedly.
"How about tonight?" She asked, "Sam and Addie could have dinner here together, and I know Phoebe has plans. It would be a good night for it." Dean nodded his agreement.
"Well then, you better pick the place, because I don't know anywhere around here that's really nice." Dean said, Paige nodded and grabbed her phone, leaving the room. Addie turned and raised her eyebrows at her big brother.
"You're going on a date with Paige?" She asked him.
"Not really a date," Dean objected. "More like dinner with a sister that I'm getting to know."
"Mmmhmmm." Addie said, "are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure." Dean said, looking at her with surprise. "Zoe just left, I'm going to give her time to come back before I even think about looking at another girl like that." His eyes were so sad that Addie relented and hugged her brother.
"I know," she said. "Zoe leaving like this doesn't make any sense. You two just told each other how you felt, why did she feel the need to leave like that?"
"I don't know," Dean said, his chin resting on the top of Addie's head. "It hurts though, that she decided to just leave like that."
"Yeah, it does." Addie agreed. "I hope she comes back soon." Dean nodded and kissed the top of his sister's head before letting her go. Sam smiled at her but his attention was diverted when Paige came back in the room.
"Our reservation is at Incanto tonight at 7:30. It's a semi-formal place, meaning you're gonna need to wear a tie." She said to Dean, who groaned to himself. Addie grinned and looked at her watch.
"It's 4:30 now, Paige you need to get in the shower to get ready. I'll help with your hair and makeup," she volunteered. She then looked at the boys, "she'll be ready by 6:30 to give you time to get there." Paige nodded and headed upstairs with Addie following, after she kissed Sam. Dean looked confused as the girls left.
"It's gonna take you two hours to get ready?" He asked incredulously. The girls laughed and Sam looked at him.
"Girls, man." He said, with Dean nodding his agreement. Sam then looked at his older brother with a contemplative look.
"What's up, Sammy?" Dean asked looking over at his little brother.
"I want to make dinner for Dora and I," Sam said. "I have never gotten to cook for her, but I need some help."
"Okay then, let's go make food." Dean said, "what do you want to make her?"
"Macaroni and cheese," Sam said. "It's the only thing I know how to make. Jess taught me at Stanford." Dean nodded.
"Uh-huh." He said, "well, how about I teach you how to make meatloaf to go with it? And Addie's favorite green beans?" Sam's face brightened up.
"That would be great!" He said to his older brother, "we should go to the store to get the stuff." Dean nodded and they walked to the car to leave, after telling Addie they were going to the store for some stuff. They drove in silence to the store while Sam contemplated a dessert for dinner as well. He didn't really want to try something too hard, but he wanted to make it.
When they walked into the grocery store, Dean immediately grabbed a cart. "I know Piper probably has all the stuff needed at the house, but I don't know what she has planned for this, plus it gives us a few minutes before I take Paige to dinner." He said.
"Okay," Sam said agreeably. "So, meatloaf?"
"Yeah, Addie taught me how to make it at Bobby's right before Dad took her to Jericho," Dean explained. "She said it was one of her favorite things. It's pretty easy."
"Really?" Sam said, "I didn't know she could cook."
"Yeah, after you left, she got ahold of some of Bobby's old cookbooks and read them cover to cover. She really enjoyed the process of learning and said creating things was fun. She actually learned how to make some things in the microwave so we weren't eating as much fast food." Dean said, "and you know how well she learns theory." Sam snorted in agreement as Dean continued, "like I said earlier, meatloaf is pretty simple. Start with an even amount of hamburger and sausage in a bowl, add chopped onions, garlic and mushrooms. Throw in some salt and pepper. Add two eggs, mix it together with your hands, Add oatmeal until it looks roughly like cookie dough and place it in a pan. Cover the top of it with a decent pepper bacon and bake it until it's done." Sam nodded, understanding the basics of meatloaf.
He and Dean went to the meat department and grabbed a pound of ground beef and sausage and a pound of thick cut pepper bacon, they then went to the produce where they grabbed an onion, a pound of mushrooms and a jar of diced garlic. Dean had explained that while Sam wanted to do everything himself it would be easier to just use the already processed garlic. They also grabbed a pound of fresh green beans and salad stuff. They swung by the deli where Sam grabbed some smoked cheddar and monterey jack cheese for the macaroni and cheese he was planning to make. He smirked when he saw Dean give him a strange look.
"What?" He asked. Dean just shook his head.
"Thought you were gonna make it from the box, that's all." Dean said.
"Nope, I learned how to make this the homemade way. The boxed stuff tastes too fake." Sam explained. Dean nodded and they bought some butter and milk. They also bought a box of noodles and a bottle of pink wine. As they were walking down the baking aisle, Dean tossed a no bake cheesecake mix into the cart and gently placed a graham cracker crust in as well.
"Thought you'd want to make dessert, Addie still loves cheesecake best as far as I know." Dean said to Sam's questioning gaze. Sam nodded and Dean added a can of black cherry pie filling and ran to get a can of whipped cream. They then paid for their purchases and drove back to the house. Dean immediately had Sam mixing the meatloaf, as it would take at least an hour in the oven.
"This is kinda gross," Sam commented as he mixed the meat mixture with his hands while Dean added oatmeal.
"Yeah, but it has to be mixed with your hands," Dean answered. "I've tried mixing it with other things and it just doesn't work." Sam nodded and he concentrated on getting it mixed right. He then put it in a pan and placed the bacon on top before washing his hands. He then started making the cheese sauce for macaroni and cheese while Dean snapped the green beans for him. After the green beans were snapped, Dean put them in a pan with water to start them simmering. He also put some chopped onion and bacon in a pan to saute it out for a dressing for the green beans. While he waited for the noodles to boil, Sam mixed the cheesecake mixture and poured it into the already prepared crust and put it in the refrigerator to set up. When the green beans had finished simmering, Dean instructed Sam to drain them and put them in the pan that had the sauteing onions and bacon. He tossed them quickly and then drained off the excess grease before putting them back in the pan. Sam then checked the noodles for doneness, when he figured they were done enough, he drained them and mixed them with the cheese sauce that he'd made.
After he'd finished with all that, Dean went to shower and get ready for his dinner with Paige while Sam set the table for him and Addie. He noticed that something was missing and wished he had flowers or something to give her. Paige came down and noticed his frustrated expression.
"What's the matter, Sam?" She asked him.
"I made dinner for Dora and I, but when Dean and I were at the store, I forgot to grab flowers for her," Sam said, a sad expression on his face. Paige smiled at him and reached out to grab his arm, orbing them to a florist. She made sure to land them somewhere inconspicuous, so no one would notice. Sam blinked and looked around before flashing a grateful smile at Paige. He quickly went into the shop and bought a bouquet of brightly colored wildflowers for Paige as thanks and a bouquet of lilacs and cherry blossoms for Addie, He came out of the flower shop, and handed the wildflowers to Paige. "Before you take us back, I have to ask you a question."
"Okay?" Paige's statement sounded more like a question.
"Will you be my best man?" Sam asked, blushing.
"I thought you would want Dean for that, unless Dean's giving Addie away?" Paige grinned when Sam nodded.
"I knew she would want Dean to give her away, so I planned on asking you unless Dora didn't ask Dean, but she asked him earlier today." Sam said, "I really want you to be my best man, especially since you helped me pick out the ring." Paige smiled.
"I would love to be your best man, Sam." She said, leaning up to kiss him on his cheek. "Now let's get back, so we can go to dinner."
"Could you talk Dora into a nice dress?" Sam asked, "Don't tell her why though." Paige grinned at him before grabbing his arm and orbing back to the house. When they landed, he went into the kitchen to find Dean taking the meatloaf out of the oven.
"Where did you disappear to?" He asked his brother.
"Paige took me to get some flowers for Dora." Sam replied, "I also asked her to be my best man."
"And she said yes?" Dean asked. Sam nodded and pulled the cheesecake out of the fridge to add the cherries.
"I'm glad she did," Sam said. "I don't know anyone else around here who I would want to do it. I mean, I guess I could have asked Leo, but he seems so busy."
"There's always Neighbor Dan," Dean said teasingly. Sam growled and threw a hand towel at him. Dean caught it and laughed. "Jealous much, Sammy?"
"Yeah, and I don't want him anywhere near Dora as he almost broke her wrist." Sam said, still growling. Dean looked surprised.
"I didn't know that. When?" He asked.
"Last night, when he grabbed her." Sam said, "he squeezed so hard, he dislocated her wrist." Dean growled at this.
"Not cool. I see him around any of the girls and he won't be much of a construction worker anymore." Dean said, "no one hurts my sister." Sam smiled and finished adding the cherries to the cheesecake. He then went to shower quickly and change into some nice clothes. When he got back to the kitchen, he saw the meatloaf, green beans and macaroni and cheese sitting and nicely placed into serving dishes with the cheesecake ready as well. He grinned and went out into the living room where Dean was sitting kinda nervously.
"Dude, are you okay?" Sam asked as he noticed how flustered his brother looked. Dean just looked at him incredulously.
"I've never actually taken a girl on a date, Sammy." Dean said, "what if I mess up?"
"It will be fine, Dean." Sam said, "just remember to breathe and be yourself." Dean looked over at his brother and smiled nervously. He was about to say something when he noticed movement at the top of the stairs. Paige was coming down, wearing a simple black dress and black flats. Her brown hair was piled on top of her head in an elegant chignon and her makeup was basic. She smiled when she saw Dean wearing a simple shirt and tie with nice dress slacks.
"You look amazing," Paige said, smiling at him. He smiled.
"You look really good, too." He responded.
"Shall we get going?" Paige asked, he nodded and she continued. "I know you don't know the area very well, so how about I drive?"
"Sounds good to me," he said, offering his arm. She took it and smiled as he shot a glance up the stairs to see Addie coming down in a chocolate brown dress that made her eyes sparkle even more than usual. "Have a good night, you two." They walked out the door and Sam turned his attention back to the woman he loved.
"You look fantastic, Dora." He smiled at her as she came down the stairs.
"Paige insisted that I get all dressed up, but she wouldn't say why." Addie said to him. He blushed and handed the bouquet he bought her earlier.
"These are for you," Sam said, shyly. "I made dinner for us, I thought we could eat together and then watch a movie." Addie looked at him.
"You made me dinner?" She asked.
"Yes," Sam said. "It's all from scratch too. None of that prepackaged nonsense. Well, except for dessert." Addie beamed at him.
"It sounds delicious. What did you make?" She asked.
"Meatloaf, green beans and macaroni and cheese," Sam answered. He was beginning to wonder if this was a bad idea but the way Addie threw herself into his arms soon chased that thought away.
"That sounds even more delicious." She commented.
"Then shall we eat?" He asked her, offering his arm.
"Why yes, I think we shall, sir." She answered, taking it. He escorted her into the dining room, where a vase sat ready for the flowers and pulled her chair out for her. She sat down and beamed at him as he poured her some wine and went to get dinner. She looked at what he made, amazed. "Did you really make all this?"
He laughed at the look of wonder on her face, "Yes. Well, Dean showed me how to do the meatloaf and the green beans the way you like, but I learned how to make macaroni and cheese from scratch in college."
"Did Jessica teach you?" She asked, sorry that she had the moment it popped out of her mouth at the brief look of pain and regret that crossed his face.
"Yes, she did." He said, "before we started dating, she was appalled that I didn't even know how to properly microwave ramen." Addie snorted and he continued, "so she taught me how to make simple things, like noodles and mashed potatoes and other things of a simple nature. She came over one day to catch me trying to make boxed mac n cheese and got pissed at me, much like you did, because of all the preservatives and other nasties in it. She then promised to show me how to make it properly. It's one of my favorite things to make, so I thought I'd share it with you."
He looked down, sad and nervous at the thought that he'd made something his ex had shown him and worried that Addie wouldn't want to eat it. Addie looked at him. It didn't really matter to her where he'd learned how to cook properly, if anything she was glad that Jessica had taught him how to survive on stuff that wasn't fast food. Seeing the sad look on Sam's face, she stood up and walked over to him and stretched up to put her arms around his neck.
"I'm glad you chose to share it with me, Sammy. Just like I'm glad she was there to teach you how to cook some things. If you want, I can teach you how to cook some things too. So can Piper." She said, before pulling him down to kiss him, "I love you Samuel Michael Winchester." He smiled at her use of his full name before kissing her back.
"I love you too, Adora Lotus Winchester," He replied. "We should eat before it gets cold though. She nodded and walked back over to her seat, noting for the first time that there was only one plate and that their chairs were really close together.
"I thought that was only a breakfast thing?" She asked, looking at him.
"Since we are alone tonight, I want to share." Sam explained, "I love it when we share breakfasts together and I know it isn't practical to share every meal, but I feel so close to you when we do." Addie smiled at him as he sat down next to her. He served up some of everything and she scooped up some of the macaroni and cheese, knowing it was what he was most nervous about her trying. She chewed her bite slowly, enjoying every cheesy moment before swallowing and leaning over to kiss Sam.
"It's delicious." She whispered, smirking slightly as he let out a breath that she didn't know he'd been holding. She scooped up some more and offered the bite to him, he smiled at her and took the bite, enjoying the flavor. Alternating between bites, they soon finished the meal. Sam kissed her on the nose as she took the last bite of meatloaf and got up, clearing the table. She got up to help, but he shook his head, causing her to freeze.
"I made dessert, too." He said, "I'm going to go get it, stay here, okay?" She nodded and sat back down. He quickly carried in all the dinner dishes and cut and plated the cheesecake, making sure to hold on to the fork. When he came out, her eyes lit up at the sight of her favorite dessert. He grinned and sat down next to her. He then scooped a bite of the dessert, feeding it to her first. She closed her eyes and moaned softly at the taste of black cherry and cheesecake, sending blood rushing straight to his groin.
"So delicious, Sammy." She said, opening her eyes and looking at him. His eyes had darkened slightly with lust, hearing the sounds she made eating the dessert he'd made her. She took his momentary distraction as an opportunity to snag the fork and give him a bite. He'd never been a big fan of cheesecake, but he appreciated her making sure he got some too. He took the fork back and fed her more, accidentally getting some whipped cream on her lips. That didn't really faze Addie much as she licked it off with a maneuver so innocently sensual that he had to fight with himself not to throw her on the table and have his wicked way with her. Noting his aroused state, she leaned over and kissed him. Sam realized that after this, he would never look at cheesecake the same way again.
Addie gently took the fork from him and fed him another bite, biting back her own groan of arousal as he licked the cherries off the top before accepting his bite. The rest of the dessert passed similarly, each trying to see who could get the other more aroused with their dessert eating antics. After Sam fed the last bite to Addie, he set the fork down and stood up, carrying the plate into the sink. He quickly put all the leftover food away and rinsed the dishes off before loading them into the dishwasher. He grabbed the can of whipped cream out of the refrigerator and walked into the dining room, seeing his Addie sitting there and trying to calm herself down. He smirked as he walked over to her and picked her up out of the chair, intending to take her upstairs and see how many more of those noises he could get her to make.
