Buffy found herself in the water yet again. The mysterious comforting figure was on the surface. Buffy knew if she could just get to him everything would be okay. Buffy swam with all her might, had to make it to the surface. Then she made it. She hd reached the surface at long last. Thi figure comforted Buffy. Buffy realized who this figure was. The light, the goodness, brother/sister to the First evil. This was God. Buffy saw the others in the distance. Everyone from the battle. Giles, Xander, Willow, Joyce, Dawn, Angel, Spike, Faith, Jenny, Cordelia, Oz, Wesley, Anya, Riley, Tara, Kennedy, Andrew, Wood, Doyle, Gunn, Fred, Groo, Eve, Lindsay, Illyria, Jessie,Rhonda, Colin, Laurie, Veruca, Devon, Darla, Conner, Holtz, Justine, Liam's father, Violet, Amanda, Rhona, Nina, Robery Carlyle, Molly, Kate, Snyder, Barshon, Forrest, Graham, Larry, Harmony, Ben, Chris Epps, Dr Backer, Gib Cain, Jinx, Colonel Mcnamara, Ampata, her guard, Lorne, Bethany, Brother Thelonius, Gregor, Dante, Orlando, David, Denver, Anne, Ricky, Finch, the five wrestling brothers, Syed Ali, Harriet, Sid, Morgan, Jonathan, Pike, Lawson, Willy, Ethan, the Valet, Lydia, Philip, Quentin, Roger, Whistler, the Oracles, Gwen, Sinea, Aurelius, Kit, Carlos, Samantha, Proi Moto, Brother Luca, Cassie, Tobias Dupree, Dave, Fatima, Sumitra, Alona, Marie and Erica, Andrew Borba, even Michael and the Hellmouth spawn. Other memories came back to Buffy. Sending Angel to hell, sex with Riley, being told Dawn was something called the "Key" creating several slayers for a battle. Were they real?

God: Welcome home Buffy.
Buffy: Where am I?
God: Heaven.
Buffy: Are you sure it isn't a computer error, me being here?
God: Yes. You have all earned this through your sacrifice.
Buffy: So many memories, are they real?
God: All of your memories are real, they happenned to you. It was necessary to keep you in that purgatory until you shed your darkness. It took you awhile, but you did it.
Buffy: And the other, the ones who aren't here?
God: They'll come when they're ready. They will all join us here eventually. But you have overcome your sins and earned your place here through fire. Welcome home Buffy.

Buffy joined her friends. This place looked like a beach. No hotels or restaurants. Just a clear beach and ocean. This looked like the world must've looked before humans got it into their heads to start killing each other. Buffy and the others all began feeling happiness. A greater happiness than any had ever known on earth. They wouldn't have been able to describe it on earth. This would be a good eternity. Through their sacrifice they'd earned happiness without end forever and ever.
