CHAPTER SEVEN

I sat in my room on the end of my bed, I'd just stepped out of the shower and was thinking about my strange dream last night, even thought it had just been a nightmare I couldn't help but feel that there was more to it. Something felt very wrong, I needed answers and going back to the campgrounds was the first step in getting them. There was a knock on the front door and I knew Dimitri was still asleep so I quickly slipped out of my room in only my towel and went to answer it. Penelope was waiting at the door with her hands behind her back, she grinned when she saw me, "Hey, bit early don't you think?"

"Sorry, I thought I'd give you this before a certain someone gets out of bed," she whispered to me and handed me a small vile with some kind of yellowish liquid inside. "Wolf's bane. Only one drop once a day in some kind of drink, this is powerful stuff so too much could cause you some damage so remember nothing more then one drop once a day, I wrote it on the bottle to remind you." She winked at me, "have fun."

"Thanks."

"Hey are you okay, you look like you barely slept last night," she grinned, "Dimitri keeping you up all night?"

I rolled my eyes at her, "I wish that was the reason, I had a nightmare, it felt a little more real then dream."

"What was it about?"

I sighed, "fire, shadows and… Dimitri."

Her eyes narrowed, "did you watch a bad movie or something before you went to sleep?"

"No, nothing like that, it almost felt… familiar," I looked down at the vile in my hands. "I'll be alright, just need some more sleep." I heard Dimitri call me from his room. "I better go, see you later okay?"

"Sure, and get some sleep, come and see me if you need something to help or just to talk."

"Thanks, Penn."

SMUT WARNING

I followed Penelope's instructions exactly, putting only one drop of wolf's bane into my morning coffee while Dimitri was in the bathroom showering, I quickly hide it under the sink behind the cleaning supplied where I was positive Dimitri wouldn't look. I took a small sip of my coffee and crinkled my nose at the odd taste from the wolf's bane. "Morning babe," Dimitri greeted when he stepped into the kitchen, I turned and smiled at him, I couldn't help but blush when I noticed he only wore a towel loosely wrapped around his hips. Water running down his gorgeous upper body and dripping from his long hair.

"Good morning, coffee?"

"Thank you," he sat down at the breakfast bar and watched me carefully as I poured him a cup of coffee and slide it across to him. "What's for breakfast?" he asked.

"I was thinking omelettes?"

"Sounds good," he leaned towards me and pressed a quick kiss against my mouth before he disappeared with his cup of coffee into the bedroom, I shook my head at him and went to start breakfast, making sure to add extra bacon into the mix. He returned to the breakfast bar, as I was dishing up his half of the omelet, wearing a grey t-shirt, cargo pants and a pair of dirty old combat boots. He pulled his hair back into a ponytail as I pushed his plate towards him. He didn't bother to touch his cutlery he just used his fingers and picked up bits of the food and shovelled it into his mouth. "Do you want to talk about last night?"

I shrugged, "it was just a bad dream, as long as I get a good night sleep tonight then I will be fine," I assured him picking at my own food.

He didn't answer he just stared at me for a few minutes before nodding his head, "alright, we're making a run to town this afternoon do you feel up to it?" he asked finished off his omelet.

I shook my head, "I don't think so, I might just hang around here and sleep."

"Alright babe," he stood up and came around to kiss me, "I'm leaving in thirty minutes, let me know if you change your mind."

"Okay," I mumbled and leaned up on my tip toes to kiss him again, twisting my fingers through his hair to pull his face closer, he ran his hands down my body to my buttocks and pulled me up against him. I automatically wrapped my legs around his waist, he backed me up and set my butt down on the cold island bench top, sending chills up my skin. He reached beneath the skirt of my dress and brushed his fingers across the front of my panties, I shivered in response and my body reacted immediately. Heat spread through me and I moaned against his mouth.

He pulled away and stared into my eyes, "What are you doing to me, Roza, I've never wanted a woman as much I want you," he purred.

"Stop talking and show me," I mumbled.

He chuckled and smashed his lips against mine again, he tore at my panties until they ripped away and plunged two fingers inside me, I gasped and arched my hips towards him. Shamelessly rubbing my pelvic into his hand while he pumped his fingers into me. He pressed his thumb against my clit and curled his fingers; it was all it took to send me flying over the edge into glorious bliss. I slumped forward against him while I caught my breath and clumsily reached down for the front of his pants. He grunted when I opened his fly and let his erection fall into my hand, I gave him a gentle squeeze that triggered him and his hips jerked in response and he knocked my hand away and guided himself inside me. "I love you." He growled, pumping into me.

"I love you too."

I watched as a fleet of black SUV's disappeared into the trees, following a dirt road that led through the pack's territory and to the main highway. I counted to ten in my head before I casually stepped off the front porch and walked towards the forests. When I stepped into the tree's I didn't stop, I kept walking pulling my phone out of my pocket to guide myself towards the campgrounds.

If I got caught I was in so much trouble.

But I needed answers and this was the only way to get them.
