Previously on 'California Friends'; Nikki Bella is left in the bathroom vomiting and crying. And Eve tries to convince Kelly not to re- sign her contract, she also turns Melina and Nikki against Nattie.
Starring~ Melina Perez, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Eve Torres, and Nattie Neidhart.
"Daniel do you mind passing me my phone," Brie says as she looks out the window car.
"Yeah, but if you're going to call Nikki then... no," Daniel says as he looks over at Brie.
Brie then turns to Daniel and raises her eyebrow, "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa... Why not Bryan?"
Daniel shrugs, "John called me and said Nikki is alright, you don't have to worry about her."
"I hope so, after what happened to her yesterday..." Brie says, as she pauses midway.
Brie looks up, "I'm worried for her, you know," Brie says as she watches Daniel point behind her.
"Speaking of Nikki, look who it is," Daniel says as he watches Nikki get out of her car.
Brie, surprised, quickly opens up the car door and rushes over to Nikki through the parking lot.
"Brie, now wait a second," Daniel exclaims as he try's to unbuckle his seatbelt.
"Nicole, what the hell, where you have you been," Brie yells as she approaches Nikki.
Nikki turns around stunned, "Brie, nice to see you too," Nikki says.
"Nicole we were supposed to go meet up yesterday for that job meeting," Brie says as she crosses her arms.
"I took care of it, the meeting is not for another few weeks," Nikki says as she try's to calm her down.
"Look I don't mean to give you a hard time, it's just that I'm worried," Brie says, hoping Nikki tells her something about yesterday.
"Yeah... so where's Melina, I mean that is after all why I'm here, to talk about ideas for our storyline," Nikki says.
Brie looks down, "I'm not sure, she's supposed to be here in a few minutes... meanwhile maybe we can maybe talk about what happened yesterday," Bries says in a sympathetic tone.
"Right... now you care," Nikki says as she puts her hands on her waist.
"Nikki what are you talking about, I've always cared," Brie says.
"Yeah... okay Brie, yeah because yesterday you really showed it," Nikki says as she flips her wavy hair back.
Brie then rolls her eyes, "And what about you Nikki, you don't even tell me whats going on with your life, I still don't know what happened to you yesterday," Brie says, trying to keep herself calm.
Nikki takes off her sunglasses, "Really, I don't think you care, you obviously didn't yesterday when you ran out," Nikki says.
Nikki continues, "And Brie you left me, I had to wait for John to pick me up yesterday," Nikki says as she opens her car door.
"Look Brie, I have to go, I don't think I'm in the mood to be here right now, see you in a few hours for the show," Nikki says as she gets in her car.
Brie crosses her arms, "What a total bitch," Brie says as she watches Nikki drive off.
"Thanks Jillian, pick me up in about 1 hour," Melina says as she closes the door.
"Don't worry, you're creative, you'll have ideas," Jillian says as she waves goodbye.
Melina turns around as she starts to walk towards the restaurant.
She walks in, and looks around to look for the Bella's, while she checks herself in.
From the corner Brie sees her, she smiles and try's to hide her nervousness as she walks over to Melina.
"Hey Melina, I'm actually sitting out on the patio," Brie says as she passes Melina with a plate of food.
"Yeah I'll be there," Melina says as she watches Brie walk out.
"Hey, sorry we ate before you got here, Nicole couldn't make it by the way," Brie says as she watches Melina sit down.
"That's fine," Melina says.
Melina and Brie sit their, as a moment of silence goes by they both start to feel awkward.
"So have you eaten here before," Brie says, trying to keep the conversation going.
Melina starts drinking from her drink, "Uh, no actually, is the food good here," Melina says.
Brie smiles, "Yeah it is actually, I really like the seafood here," Brie says as she picks up her fork.
Melina looks up, "No way, you like seafood too," Melina says as she shows a smile.
"Yeah, seafood is my type of food, I'm in love with it" Brie says.
"I love seafood, and I guess I better get a plate," Melina says as she calls the waiter.
Kelly walks into the office, "Hey Kelly, thanks for coming, please have a seat," Vince says as he goes through a file.
"Is this about my contract," Kelly says in an unhappy tone.
Vince stops and looks at Kelly, "Look we've had you for the past half decade, sadly your contract has expired," Vince says.
"I knew it, well where do I sign off," Kelly says as she crosses her arms.
"Look, were willing to sign you on for another 5 years, but we also want to give you choices," Vince says as he starts looking for the contract.
Kelly looks up, "Thank you, I guess I have always wanted choices, and I've also always wanted time, honestly," Kelly says.
"Ahh here it is, well look we're giving you time... you know, to think," Vince says as he hands Kelly the contract.
Kelly reaches for the contract, "Thank you Vince, it's going to be a hard decision, so it might take me time," Kelly says as she puts the contract in her purse.
"Look whatever happens, happens, do whatever feels right to you," Vince says.
"Thanks, and I will... trust me," Kelly says as she gets up to walk away.
Vince watches as Kelly starts to walk out the door, "Oh and Kelly, sadly you won't be performing tonight, since as of now you are technically released," Vince says.
"Gosh Vince, Don't worry, I won't show up," Kelly says as they both start to laugh.
"So are you excited about our 2nd show appearance, I know I am," Brie says as she plays with her straw.
Melina smiles, "I'm totally excited, it's such an amazing experience, but I'm also a little nervous," Melina says.
Brie looks up, "Right, it's so thrilling to perform, and don't worry, I think we all get nervous," Brie says as she takes a drink from her drink.
As time goes by they continue to talk and laugh, they have a good time, until...
"Brie, I'm back... so are you ready to go," Daniel says as he takes out his phone.
"Bryan, I totally lost track of time, anyways Daniel this is Melina and Melina this is Daniel," Brie says as she gets up out of her seat to hug Daniel.
"Hi, nice to meet you," they both say to each other.
"Bryan, we actually still have an hour left, do you just want to join us," Brie says as she pulls out a chair.
"Sure whatever," Daniel says as he starts laughing out loud.
Daniel then takes Brie's drink and starts drinking it, he then burps and starts eating out of Brie's leftovers.
Brie smiles uncomfortably as she looks around.
Melina awkwardly looks away.
"Anyways I actually forgot... I have a last-minute wrestling attire meeting with Nicole," Brie says as she get's her stuff.
Daniel pauses and grunts, as he get's up to walk outside.
Brie watches as he goes out, she turns red and get's up.
Melina pretends to be looking away, at that point feeling uncomfortable and awkward.
"Yeah, so do you want a ride, I mean we are after all going to the same place," Brie says as she get's her purse.
"Uhh... no actually, my friend just texted me, she's right around the corner," Melina says as she slowly get's up.
"Ok, well then, see you in an hour for the show," Brie says as she starts walking out.
Melina follows her out, right in time, as Jillian pulls up.
Nikki, with her white sunglasses on, walks in through the back of the building, with her wrestling attire in a bag.
Nattie turns around, "Hey Nikki, gosh it feels like I haven't seen you in like forever," Nattie says as she starts to take off her earrings.
Nikki Bella rolls her eyes, as she walks by and avoids contact with Nattie.
A confused Nattie says, "Uhh, okay, totally not rude at all."
Minutes later Brie and Melina walk in, "Hey Nattie, have you seen Nicole," Brie says.
"Yeah, I actually just saw her, she went into the dressing room, and she totally ignored me," Nattie says as she starts tying her wrestling boots.
"Don't take it personal, she's had a rough couple of days," Brie says as she starts heading towards the dressing room.
"Yeah, No hard feelings man," Nattie says as she starts getting her mirror out.
She then chuckles when she turns to Melina, who is standing quietly by the door, "Melina you're so quiet, I didn't even see you there... anyways how are you," Nattie says as she gets her blush out.
"Great, thanks for asking, anyways I actually have to go now... sorry," Melina says as she starts walking down the hall.
Nattie looks away from the mirror, "Huh," she says as she goes back to the mirror.
Vince then walks in and looks over at Nattie, "Nattie, hey, what are you doing in your ring attire, didn't you get my message," Vince says as he opens the door to his office.
"Nice to see you Vince... but sorry, what message are you talking about," Nattie says as she puts her mirror down.
"I guess that would be a no, well Kelly's contract expired and she hasn't signed it yet, thus not allowing her to perform," Vince says as he walks into his office.
Nattie follows him, "Wait, you don't want me to perform tonight, do you... let me guess it's Beth vs Eve tonight," Nattie says as she looks to her side.
"Not necessarily, you'll be out there... you just won't be wrestling, you'll be like Beth's manager," Vince says as he fixes his tie.
Nattie shakes her head, "Right, I'll make a good manager, after all, it's not my first time," Nattie says as she get's up.
"Look Nattie, we're trying to work it all out, but for now, it is what it is," Vince says as he shrugs.
"Right... I better get going, the match is almost starting," Nattie says as she exits the room.
Before Nattie leaves, she turns around, "Oh and by the way Vince, if I find out that Eve had anything to do with this, I will quit," Nattie says as she finally leaves the room with a smirk.
