After a torturous week of classes at the university, Feng Lan went home discouraged and in a bad mood.

The entire way back she only thought back to how they were supposed to watch the sequel to Mulan in Gui's class the following week.

She hoped that the weekend passed by very slowly because there was just no way she could be able to withstand such torture again. Musicals just weren't her thing and those kind of films seemed to have more than what she could take.

"Ugh! I can't believe we have to watch the sequel to that movie. If I have to hear another stupid song I will kill something with my bare hands!" She grumbled to herself as she went on to prepare something to eat for herself and her twin brother.

Cooking was one of the few things she enjoyed, and if it wasn't for her annoying brother, then maybe the whole ordeal of preparing a meal would even be considered pleasant.

She really needed a break as soon as possible, however. Even though she could just grab a snack and not cook anything, it was best to do so anyways and leave something in the counter for when her brother got hungry.

She went and put on a apron and decided to check what was in the fridge that she could easily make.

"Let's get this over with." She murmured out loud as she began to chop up vegetables, cutting meat and sliced fish in half. It was entirely entertaining and seemed like nothing but a game to her. "Just like this, the first person I will send to the rebirth point when I get back to the game, is Gui."

After cooking a healthy meal for her brother, Feng Lan finally went up to her room and in a exhausted manner, just tossed herself into bed, yawning and rolling over to get herself comfortable.

Five minutes later she grabbed the Second Life helmet and decided that it was time to finish once and for all those weird conversations that happened in her head when she fell asleep with the helmet on.

It was creepy and she didn't like it one bit, plus she felt that she was now ready to confront her, "consciousness."

If anything, watching Mulan had given her the courage she needed, along with a push and encouragement of sorts.

Putting the helmet on and laying back in the bed, Feng Lan shuffled a bit more until she was comfortable and then closed her eyes to fall asleep naturally, without using the game's sleep mode as she usually did when she played the game.

Fifteen minutes later, she was out like a light.

Had it even worked? Was he in the game or within a weird world in his own mind? He needed to confirm where he was and so, the elf glanced around, looking for something that would show his reflection.

He decided to walk towards the river he had seen last time around this area. In his way toward that path, however, he stumbled upon the thief Lolidragon.

How horrible did it have to be for him to have a run-in with the person he least wanted to at the moment? With a sigh and cursing at his luck, he raised his arms in defeat.

"Hello!" The thief chirped. "We meet again. See? I told you you'd be back."

"Oh shush it." The elf retorted back.

The chipper voice with the face of his first comrade, had convinced him right away where he was and he sighed.

"Soooooooo," the thief smiled. "What brings you back here?"

The elf blinked. "That's right..." He said, as he pointed a finger at her. "I have a bone to pick with you!"

"Hmmmm?" The thief stared back unaffected. "Sure! What do you want to talk about?"

"Why am I still getting these creepy conversations with you?" He said. "Do you know how annoying it is to be afraid of sleeping? I'd rather be in-game right now and get yelled at a thousand times over by Yu Lian than all of this."

"I told you, didn't I? You have to figure something out and until you do, you're not getting rid of me."

Prince sighed. "It's bad enough I'm stuck with Lolidragon in-game and now out-of-game with Shui Han, but this is just ridiculous..."

"Oh? Do enlighten me. This will be good." The thief laughed and stared. "How is it ridiculous?"

"All of this in general. You say I'm supposed to be learning something, a lesson of sorts. Don't tell me that my life has now been cut to nothing but morals."

The thief caved in to the mopey elf. "Alright," she said, laughing a little. "If you do think your life is a moral, what would you, not everyone else, but you, get out of it?"

The thief was giving too much a hint here, and was impatient enough as the elf to get out of here.

"What would I get out this?" The elf blinked and stood up from his place and went to the lake. "I'm not sure, to be honest." His hands reached towards the water. "At first, I was afraid because every time I looked, the reflection in the water or a mirror showed something different."

The thief urged him to continue. "And now?"

"But now I know that it's alright if my reflection shows two sides of me, because they are both who I am and I shouldn't be afraid to show either of them." He then took a deep breath. "In Second Life, I am Prince. Ruler of the Eastern Continent. In the real world, I am Feng Xiao Lan, a twenty year old college student and I'm fine just the way I am!"

The thief sighed in relief. "Took you long enough..." She smiled. "Let's get out of here, Lan."

The elf's field of vision went pitch black.
