Season 1, Episode 11: The Lies

Previously On 'California Friends'; Eve Torres ends up shocking everybody when she wins The Diva's Champion, and Brie Bella accidentally tells John about Nikki's pregnancy, Meanwhile Nattie is still not being used for any story-line, and Melina and Brie continue to think about the in-famous Hollywood Kiss.

The morning after Eve's Championship victory, she is called to the office, along with Melina.
Stephanie and Melina sit there waiting for Eve, after minutes of waiting Eve finally arrives, she walks in through the door with her Championship around her arm.
"Melina, Stephanie, Nice to see you," Eve says taking off her sunglasses with a cocky attitude.
"Well I hope you still feel that way, after you hear the news I'm going to give you," Stephanie says, not knowing how to find the words to tell Eve the news.
Eve sits down next to Melina, "What is it Stephanie, I can take it, I mean as long as I don't lose my title, then I can handle it," Eve says with a sure and arrogant smile.
Stephanie looks at Eve and she slowly starts to fix her words into a sentence, "Well, about that...," Stephanie says, scared that Eve might lose it.
Eve's cocky smile slowly starts to fade away into fear as she now starts to predict what Stephanie might say, "Wait... No, Stephanie I will not lose my title within days of me winning it, that is not happening," Eve says as she quickly gets up from her seat.
Inside Melina's stomach, Butterfly's start to crash into each other, as she now starts to puzzle everything out and wonders if they called her up in order for her to be the next Diva's Champion.
"Eve, sorry, but... we decided that we want you to have a storyline with Melina, where she ends up winning the Championship from you," Stephanie says feeling the two different vibes from the two very different women in the room.
Eve then looks over at Melina, she rolls her eyes and looses it, "No, Melina can not be Champion, not now at least, and where's your father, I want to hear it from him," Eve says as she holds her title with a strong grip.
"My father is in a business meeting Eve, he wanted me to tell you this, and Melina has improved a lot," Stephanie says standing even taller in her posture as she feels Eve's tone coming on too strong.
Melina sits behind and watches them, not saying anything and trying to keep her excitement inside, she watches the tension between Stephanie and Eve in the room uncomfortably. Melina's hands start to get sweaty as she hopes to not be thrown into the middle of the tension.
"Look Eve you should just go now, while you still have your dignity, we make the decisions around here, and we're sticking by this one," Stephanie says as she holds the door open.
"Wow Stephanie, look at you, I mean you act like you have so much power, but in reality you're nothing but a trust fund baby," Eve says as she walks herself out.
Before Eve can leave, Stephanie grabs her from the arm and turns her around, "Eve I would recommend you to watch your mouth, I could have you fired in no time, I could even ruin your reputation within this big wrestling industry, but that's beneath me," Stephanie says as she looks at Eve with her dead sharp eyes, eye to eye they meet with fire flaming between them, Eve walks away without saying anything else, as she no longer knows what to say.
Stephanie watches as Eve walks away, she then turns to Melina and gives her a smile, like nothing ever happened.
Nikki Bella walks out of the house with a few boxes, with her stuff inside it. After her sister slipped some un-told information to John, he has been disappointed that she never told him about her pregnancy, so she decided to move out.
"What are you doing," John says as he watches Nikki walk in and out the house to pick up her belongings.
Nikki ignores him, until minutes when she finally responds, "It's obvious you don't want me here," Nikki says as she finally finishes packing up, she then picks up her keys and walks to her car.
John quickly follows her out the door, "Look all I wanted was for you to be honest with me, it kind of hurt me that you didn't tell me," John says as he stands in front of Nikki to not let her get away.
"I was planning on telling you sometime, now move I have to go," Nikki says as she try's to walk pass John.
John blocks her again, "Are you seriously moving out for that, what's next a breakup, because I'm sure that would be the best thing for our future child," John says with sarcasm in his tone.
"Look this is all happening very quickly; moving in, the pregnancy, it's all too much for me to handle right now," Nikki says as she finally walks through John.
John runs in front of her again, this time he pulls her in for a kiss, they stand their in the middle of the driveway kissing. "We'll figure it out, together, I want you to tell me anything so that I can help you out," John says as he holds Nikki by the waist.
Nikki looks at him, she doesn't know what to do at that point, her heart is telling her to just stay and stop being so dramatic, but her mind is telling her that it's all inappropriate and that she's moving in too early. She finally decides to go with her mind, so she walks away from John, she opens her car door and pauses, "John I'll be back someday, I'm just not ready right now, and neither are you... I need time," Nikki says, meanwhile her heart breaks inside her, but her mind knows what's best for her and him. She get's inside her car, where Stay With Me by Sam Smith is playing, the song makes her even more emotional and watching John stand their on the lonely driveway makes her break down even more.
Nattie sits in her dark room, being too lazy to turn the lights on, she scrolls through her phone while she reads blogs from a wrestling news website. After seconds of random scrolling and reading, an article on the side catches her eye, she is shocked when she sees her name on the article, so she of course clicks on the article.
The news headline reads, 'Plans On Firing Natalya Start To Circulate The Web', Nattie's heart starts beating as she fears what she might come across when she reads the article, she reads through it hoping it's all fake rumours, but after reading it over and over she starts to believe the article.
She quickly starts to panic, so she picks up her phone and calls her father, Jim Neidhart a wrestling legend, "Dad I want the number to that Wrestling Company you gave me a while ago, I'm thinking about quitting the company i'm signed under," Nattie says with a shaky tone like she's about to break down and cry, and at that point she's not even sure about anything.
After days of thinking, Brie finally decides to go to Melina and talk to her about the kiss. Brie sits in her car, with a nervous stomach about what Melina might think or say, Brie finally get's out of the car. She walks over to Melina's front door, and when the door opens, they meet eye to eye, their both nervous and they both feel a rush of feelings go down their spine.
Melina try's hard to hide the nervousness that swims inside her, "Brie, I wasn't expecting you to come, but please come in," Melina says as she opens the door for Brie to walk in.
Brie walks in and hopes it all goes well when she tells Melina how she really feels about her, but when she hears More Than This by Shane Mack playing in the living room, she starts to feel weird and instead she decides not to tell Melina how she really feels, "Actually I can't stay, I just came to quickly talk about something that happened a couple of nights ago," Brie says, trying to come up with the lie in her head.
Melina's heart starts to dance in her heart, hoping that Brie feels the same way she does about her, "It's about the kiss, isn't it... because I...," Melina says, but before she get's the chance to finish, Brie interrupts.
"Yeah, well we're friends and only friends, we'll only ever be friends, and I'm glad the kiss didn't mean anything to the both of us, because all I know is that I just don't roll that way," Brie says in a rush, she then get's her jacket and puts it on, the awkward tension boils up in the room.
Melina's heart explodes and shatters into pieces, she then too decides to lie, "Yeah, I'm so relieved you feel that way, because I couldn't agree more with what you just said," Melina says, doing her best to sell the lie.
Brie's heart also shatters into pieces, "Yeah well like I said, I have to go but hey I'm glad we got that out of the way, because like I also said, I don't play for that team," Brie says.
"Yeah, well we'll eventually forget about that kiss and we'll go back to just being friends," Melina says as she opens the door for Brie to leave. Both Melina and Brie avoid eye-contact as they say good-bye to each other, Melina closes the door and she leans back on the door with her hand on her chest. Brie also leans on the other side of the door with her hands on her head. Both of them stand their leaned on each side of the door, with their hearts broken and with their minds confused, they both just lied to each other and each one of them believed the other's lie.
