Season 1, Episode 14: The Make Ups and Break Ups

Previously On 'California Friends'; Brie never really breaks up with Daniel but she kisses Roman who she just met. Nattie decides to find a new wrestling school but she instead runs into her uncle who also tells her to move back to Canada. Meanwhile Nikki thinks everything is happening too fast, so she takes a short break from John. And Melina gives up on trying with Brie after she sees her kissing Roman, she also get's accused of injuring Eve which might cost her the chance to ever become Champion.

Brie Bella steadily sits on the edge of the bed, Brie wonders if she might actually just have feelings for Melina, and not for Roman. She obviously knows that she's experimenting with Roman, but at the same time she knows she probably is also experimenting with Melina, Brie's mind is beyond confused with emotions. Brie sits there to round up her thoughts and to organize her love life feelings, suddenly Brie's 'Still Boyfriend' Daniel comes into her mind, however she surely knows that she is over him and she hopes that Daniel knows that too. Brie then turns her attention to Daniel, she is surprised she still hasn't broken up with him, she wonders how she will even break up with him. Brie's mind starts to get even messier, since she still hasn't even told Roman about Daniel, and she's recently been ignoring Daniel's calls, but all she knows is that she will defitnely break up with Daniel.
Brie then get's startled when she feels the sheets move, Roman woke up. She turns around, "Gosh you scared me," Brie says as she lays next to him.
Roman yawns before he puts his arm around Brie, "What's going on, you look like you have something going on, tell me," Roman says, feeling sympathatic for Brie.
Brie get's nervous, not sure if she wants to tell Roman about Daniel or Melina, "I'm fine, It's nothing, I'm just tired," Brie says as she cuddles into him by hugging him.
"Come on, tell me," Roman says wanting Brie to trust him.
Brie finally decides she'll tell him, since after all she isn't even sure she has feelings for Roman, "Fine then, well a few months ago my boyfriend cheated on me, and well we've been apart, but I guess I still haven't technically broken up with him," Brie says as she sits up, scared of how Roman might react.
Roman then get's up out of the bed, "You mean you've had a boyfriend all along, wait and what about us," Roman says.
"But I don't consider him a boyfriend, I just haven't been able to break up with him, and as for us, well I don't know, a lot is going on right now, so I have no idea about anything anymore," Brie says, trully confused with her messed up mind, filled with thoughts, none about her but about everybody else around her.
Roman watches as Brie panicks and rushes her words out, "Hey look I understand, I can be the one who helps you, I'll help you break up with him, and I'll help you well with anything else, and by the way to me we're something, something that's on another level," Roman says as he comforts Brie in his arms.
Brie smiles through her worries, as she feels like he is actually really there by her side, "Thank you, and by the way we are something, I hope we end up as something," Brie says as she wraps her arms around his.
"I'm glad were on the same page, now let's go break up with your jerk of a boyfriend," Roman says as he stands up and reaches his hand out for Brie.
Brie sits there, still unsure if she knows how to break up with Daniel, she doesn't have to say a word for Roman to know something is wrong.
"Woah what's the matter, come on I thought you wanted to break up with him, tell me what really is going on," Roman says as he now feels like they keep repeating in a cycle.
Brie looks at Roman with a scared serious face, "I do want to break up with him, and it's not about what's going on, but what will go on if I do break-up with him," Brie says, terrified because she knows how Daniel really is, and what trully lies behind his eyes.
Roman hugs Brie again, "We'll get through it," Roman says feeling Brie's pain. Meanwhile in Brie's mind My Blood by Ellie Goulding plays as she is reminded of horrible times she went through with Daniel.
"I'm not sure how I should feel about us moving back to Canada, I'm excited to get there but I'm also sad to leave this place," Natalya says as she packs some of her stuff into boxes.
Tyson just stands there, he looks around at the almost empty room, "I don't want to move, I'm sorry, but I just don't want to," Tyson says as takes his clothes out of the boxes.
Nattie looks at him, she's un-happy and frustruated, "Tj, we've talked about this already, it was going to happen sometime soon anyways, opportunites are going to take us different places, we have to take chances, we can't always stay in the same place and expect miracles to happen," Nattie says as she starts putting Tyson's clothes back into the boxes.
"I agree, but when two different people are meant to be in two different places, then what... is one of them supposed to give up and just go along with the other," Tyson says re-taking his clothes out of the boxes.
Nattie just stands there, at that point knowing that she can't make Tyson go, "Fine then, I give up, you can stay, but I'm going," Nattie says knowing that she can't be selfish and force Tyson to go.
Tyson looks into Nattie's eyes, he sees her hiding the tears that want to fall down, "This isn't the end for us, just new beginnings," Tyson says, trying to hide the fact that the moving is a big deal.
"What about us, what are we, what's going to happen to us," Nattie says as she finally let's the tears out.
Tyson holds her even tighter, "We're going to make it work, we have to make it work, I mean why break something that's stronger than ever," Tyson says.
"Not even this world can break us apart, maybe physically but not emotionally," Nattie says as she wipes her tears away, while she listens to the words P!nk sings in Bridge Of Light.
Nikki looks out into the ocean from the beach pier while We Both Know plays on her phone, the ocean that for some reason calms her mind and allows her mind to think clearly. She watches the water that goes down further and further into the sunset, that then makes her think about her life and where she's going, with her pregnancy and John. She then becomes even more emotional thinking about how her child will look like and how the future will look like, she thinks about the next generation and she then starts to see her past and all of the people that have been part of her life. She stands there with chills and goosebumps on her arms, thinking about the future scares her, she just can't imagine it. Nikki stays there, feeling the blissful chilly air, she for once has calmed herself down, although the thoughs scare her, they also excite her.
John stands on the beach, looking for Nikki, who he earlier saw, he finally sees her there standing on the pier as her hair dramatically blows in the air. He smiles, his eyes espicially do, as they now get to finally getting to see her. John walks from the beach on to the pier, he walks through all of the people until he finally get's to Nikki, but Nikki of course can't hear anything with her headphones in. John taps her on the shoulder and shruggs as he gives Nikki a bright smile.
Nikki, is completely surprised, she takes her headphones out, "John what are you doing here," Nikki says in shock.
"I saw you earlier, but I lost you, until now, except this time I want to take you home, forever, if I may," John says refferring to the time when Nikki moved out of his place.
Nikki smiles, "John, I've been thinking and well I think that the future is un-predictable, life is too short to wait, I'm done waiting and taking it all slowly, this is all happening for a reason, so I want to take it and live with it right now, in this very moment," Nikki says as she jumps into John's arms.
John is left speechless, with relief that Nikki is moving back in with him and that she finally found some sort of peace.
They both put there arms around eachother as they look out into the ocean and think about there future.
Meanwhile, on the far end of the busy pier, Melina stands there looking out into the ocean, like Nikki she also hopes that the sea brings her peace and happiness, after all Melina and the Sea are friends. Melina rests her head on her hand as she looks up into the sky, and listens to Over The Rainbow by Judy Garland. The song makes her wonder if it will all get better, if her worries will ever leave her mind.
