Season 1, Episode 15: The Proposal, Before She Leaves

Previously On 'California Friends'; Nikki decided to live for the moment and embrace everything that is happening, so she moves back in with John and cherishes her pregnancy. Meanwhile her sister Brie finally tells Roman about Daniel, who she still hasn't broken up with. And Melina is going nowhere with both her personal life and her professional life, as Brie completely went off with Roman while Eve completely ruined her chances of ever becoming Champion. Nattie on the other hand has everything visioned for herself, as she plans to move to Canada to follow her dreams, but her personal life is a blurry mess, as she has to leave her boyfriend Tyson behind.

Brie and soon to be mother, Nikki, go shopping for baby clothes as Nikki decides to finally embrace her whole pregnancy.
"I'm so excited for you, and I'm genuinely sorry I haven't been there for you, but if you're going to embrace your pregnancy, I'll embrace it with you," Brie says as she gives Nikki a hug to show her that she really has Nikki's back and that she's going to support her through it.
Nikki smiles, feeling the weight of the world finally drop, "Thank you, that means so much, it makes it so much easier to know that you're not disappointed," Nikki says as she goes through the baby clothes.
"No way Nikki, don't even say that, I would never be disappointed, you're about to bring life onto this earth, it should be cherished with Joy," Brie says as she lifts up a baby shirt, she then get's a tingly feeling thinking about how cute babies are.
"You're right, it took me time to realize, I guess I needed to know how big of a deal this all is, and I needed to know that people were there for me, I want this to be a joyful experience, you and John really helped me out with that," Nikki says as picks up a baby shoe and puts it on her palm.
Brie looks through the baby clothes, "Speaking of John, how's all of that going," Brie asks Nikki.
"Well, he's been supportive through all of this and I was wrong to push him away when he was just trying to help me..., and I'm moving back in with him, but not just me, you are too, we insist," Nikki says going through all of the baby bottles.
"That's amazing, you guys need to work as a team, after all you're both about to become parents, oh and by the way I wasn't going to hesitate on moving in, I can't afford a place on my own, let's be real," Brie says as she starts laughing along with Nikki.
"And hey I'm also sorry for even talking to Daniel, I know how much he's hurt you, It was wrong of me to do that," Nikki says.
"It's fine, I was hard on you, you were trying to help out, you didn't mean harm out of it," Brie says as she puts down the clothes and looks into the distance. "I should be mad at myself for still not breaking up with him," Brie says as she again thinks about how she can possibly break up with him.
"Really, I mean what's so hard about breaking up, you've done it before, just do it cheaply through text, It's not like you still have feelings for him," Nikki says as she takes her phone out, "What's his number, I'll do it for you," Nikki says joking around.
"Nikki shut up, it's not funny and I'm not a cheap person, I won't do it through text, plus Daniel is different, he takes things to another level," Brie says, trying not to let the thoughts of him pour in.
Nikki starts giggling, "Brie it's funny, come on, I mean he cheated on you, he deserves the cheap break up, plus you have Roman now," Nikki says laughing.
Brie stands there, fake laughing because she actually knows the real reason that keeps her from breaking up with him, everything is different behind closed doors.
"I just realized there's no real point in being here, I still don't even know the gender of the baby, but eh I guess it won't hurt to go through the cute baby stuff," Nikki says as she continues to laugh with Brie.
Lita turns around, she watches as her most improved wrestler walks in, "Melina, nice to finally see you," Lita says as she walks over to Melina.
"Lita, nice to see you too, and other than these past weeks, I come here every week Lita,," Melina says as she walks with Lita to the ring, while she laughs.
Lita starts laughing, "I know you come here every week, that's why you've improved so much, you've worked your ass off," Lita says as she leans against the rope.
"Yeah, well i'm a perfectionist, I like to be great at my craft," Melina says as she begins to stretch.
"I'm proud of you, you've come a long way in a short time, you deserve that Championship," Lita says as she too begins to warm up.
Melina shakes her head, "Nope that's not how they feel, unfortunately I might not ever become Champion, the storyline has been pushed back twice already," Melina says.
"Woah, now what happened, I mean who is this girl, first she get's a girl released and another one quits probably because of her, and then she fakes an attack, where does it stop," Lita says.
Melina shakes her head again, until then she's never noticed how much other horrible stuff Eve's done so far, "It stops when everything is benefiting her, if she isn't happy she'll make herself believe she's happy, I mean I wouldn't want to loose my friends for selfish needs," Melina says.
"That sucks, I was really rooting for you, I mean what a comeback that would've been, to be named worst match of the year to then getting suspended, and then boom next thing you know you're Champion, but I guess that won't be happening," Lita says not knowing that she's making Melina even more frustrated, but all of the frustration makes Melina even more prepared and it gives her this fire to try even harder to make it there.
"Melina, Jillian, thanks for coming," Nattie says as she gives Melina and Jillian a hug.
"Nattie, this is your going away party, of course we had to be here," Melina says as she hands Nattie her present, Jillian then follows up and also gives Nattie her present. "A little something from me too," Jillian says.
"You guys shouldn't have," Nattie says as she walks over to the gift table to put it down.
"Thanks, i'm just glad you guys came, enjoy the party, and I don't think you know anybody here, but I think Beth and the Bella's are here, I saw Nikki with John and Brie with this new Roman guy, there down by the shore if you want to go," Nattie says as she takes a sip from her drink.
Melina's temporary bandaged heart breaks again, but she refuses to show it, "I'll be fine... anyways, I can't believe you're leaving, I'm going to miss you Nattie," Melina says.
"Aww, I'll miss you too Melina, and yep times take you places, I hate leaving, I can't believe i'm leaving, but I hate missing a chance, you know," Nattie says.
"Well I just wanted to get a final goodbye in there, and I wish you the best Nattie," Melina says as she gives Nattie another hug.
Nattie reaches in for the hug, and as they hug Nattie thinks about all of the friends she's leaving behind, "I haven't even had time to think about all of the great people I'll be leaving behind," Nattie says as they pull apart.
"Guys can I please have you're attention," Tyson says as he holds his Champagne up, "I have a toast, I wanted to thank you all for joining me on this special day, the day where we all give this amazing beautiful lady a Bon Voyage, before she leaves off to chase her dreams back in our hometown, Canada," Tyson says. Nattie stands in the crowd of friends and family, with a delighted bright smile, she is impressed that Tyson spoke up about his support.
"Thank you Tyson, Thanks to all of you for being here tonight, it means a lot, all of it, I'm going to miss all of you, but i'll surely be back someday and then all of you can once again copy me and my trends," Nattie says as the whole crowd, including Nattie, start to laugh, she walks up to join Tyson.
Tyson nervously turns to Nattie, "Nattie can I privately take you up in the ferris wheel, like right now," Tyson says as he reaches his hand out for Nattie.
Nattie, beyond and above confused, "Uhh, sure," Nattie says as she let's Tyson led her, meanwhile the crowd of friends and family smile, as they secretly know what's about to take place.
Nattie and Tyson walk down the sandy beach, towards the Ferris Wheel, "Tj what's going on, I'm feeling your hand and it's sweaty right now," Nattie says as she wonders what could possibly be going on.
They then arrive and get to an open seat, they get on and Nattie feels this sensational feeling, like she might know what is about to happen, but she then doubts the thought, since it's too random.
Tyson starts to sweat as the ferris wheel begins to go up, "I'm so nervous, but here I go, Nattie, I've known you forever and I want to continue to know you forever, I want to be with you for eternity, I know that you're leaving and what I'm about to say is not for you to stay here in California, but for you to stay in my heart and for me to stay in yours, even if were worlds apart," Tyson says to Nattie as both of there hearts beat as one.
Tyson looks into Nattie's eyes, and he asks her, "Anyways, What I'm trying to say, is... Will You Marry Me?" Tyson takes out a ring from his pocket and waits for Nattie to answer.
Nattie is left speechless, she is blown away with the wind of love, "Tyson, of course I will marry you, Yes, of course," Nattie says as she starts to cry out of joy, meanwhile the other people on the ferris wheel cheer for them.
Tyson takes Nattie's hand and he puts the ring on her finger, Nattie looks at him put the ring on, she can't believe any of this is happening, it's the fairytale that she's been dreaming of, even if she'll be leaving.
"Oh Tyson, I love it," Nattie says as she pulls him in for a kiss, filled with years of emotions and passionate love.
They finally get down, but Tyson pays for another round of going up, meanwhile on the speakers Latch by Disclosure starts to play. The soon to be married couple sit on the ferris wheel, they both have their arms around each other as they look out into the view of the ocean, where the lights of the ferris wheel gleam onto it, they sit there with joy and happiness, both of their hearts are lit with bright lights, like the ferris wheel.
The couple finally get off, and they hold their arms up in the air, and the crowd of family and friends scream with joy for them.
