Season: I know this is late you don't have to remind me. I spent countless months working on this and let me tell you, I may not have an "official" beta, but my friend is RUTHLESS when it came to editing and giving her opinion. So I guess you can say I kind of DO have a beta, because without my friend... Well, this would have turned out a hot, hot mess. And not the good kind.

Ps: This is kind of a somewhat accompaniment to my special chapter "Her Choice." But this is Gui's side of things. Whether it lands before or after it... Ehehehehe! Not even I know. Maybe it does maybe it doesn't.

Anyways don't forget to say hello to my beta whom I will call Nony.

Narrator: HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE! AM I GETTING REPLACED!?

Season: You kind of only wear me down and complain to me about your job and blah blah blah. At least Nony's complains are meritable.

Narrator: GUYS HELP ME! I don't want to lose my job!

Season: *mumbles* Nony's not taking your "Narrator corner..." *mumbles*

Next chapter will be up MUCH SOONER! I already have a draft for it I just have to tweet it a bit and run it across Nony for a "Yes." But reviews may help it be up sooner *pleading eyes*

Also, we're almost near to the end guys. Ahhhh! The Legend WILL end... *sobs*

The Legend Ends

by: Season Of Magic

{-}

It would be cliche to say that Gui had fallen in love with the elf as soon as he saw him. Of course in the beginning it had been only a joke.

It had given him something to do. Yet too soon had the joke become reality.

Now here they were, and Gui had to admit that he loved Prince very much. Much more than he had anticipated he even would experience. He was certain that his feelings would not change. So certain that if anyone were to ask him at any moment, Gui would, without hesitation, quickly reply that his loyalty and heart belonged to none other than to the warrior.

Despite him finding out who Prince really was, that answer had not changed one bit. Because it is true that to the bard, Prince's appearance did not matter. He had fallen in love with the elf for who he was, not for his appearance or gender. When it just happened to be that the elf had turned out to be female in real life all along, Gui didn't bat an eye.

The one thing that did affect him however, was that his beloved Prince... was none other than his student Feng Lan! In any other circumstance, Gui would have been overjoyed that he finally found Prince in real life.

With their interesting situation, Gui knew it was best to not meddle with things. He would do whatever needed be to keep her Royal Highness out of trouble. If that meant not being in a relationship with her right now, he would endure it, for now. Besides, something like that could easily hurt Feng Lan's reputation. The last thing he wanted was to cause her more headaches.

[Yang Ming: Not that my tranny sister even has an ounce of good reputation to begin with!]

He would do all that it took so that Feng Lan could continue to live her life as normal as possible during her remaining college years. The time to make and keep her happy would arrive for him soon. It didn't mean he could not still be with her (bother her,) online though.

With the thought still in his mind, he finished grading the tests he had left from days ago. When he was finished, he grabbed his gaming helmet and went to bed.

Gui couldn't wait to see Prince.

"His royal highness! His royal highness!" Was the first thing the bard uttered when he entered Second Life.

His avatar's last log in had been in the conference room. He quickly stood up from the couch he was on and ran to find Prince. According to the contact log, he had logged in fifteen minutes prior.

"His highness is probably in the kitchen." Gui nodded to himself as he walked out the conference room.

"Ah, Gui! You're finally here." Yu Lian said via PM.

"Yes?" Gui couldn't help but reply back. "Here I am. Is something the matter?"

"The final structure for the podium doesn't match up to what we have on paper. Come to the main stage and check this out."

"But I was going to..."

"Gui, I mean now okay?"

"I'll be right there." He sulked and closed the chat.

He then changed his direction from the kitchen to the podium outside. With great sadness, he was flailing along to his destination. He was also thinking of ways he could imaginarily torture Yu Lian with.

... But then he thought of Prince. Specifically, if he found out he had those thoughts, the way he could kick him back to level one for that. If it was because of something he did to his Royal Highness, he wouldn't mind being sent back to the rebirth point many times as possible.

This was something he was thinking to do to their treasurer, who could, at times, easily overpower even his royal highness. It was better for him not to imagine the elf kick him around for something he would do to the mage.

"Prince you are so kind, Prince you are so sweet, I like you just the way you are, now pay attention to me..." He hummed to himself as he walked.

"These feelings with him I want to share, even though our first date ended in despair. I love him so much I want a hug... He simply wants to kick me in the guts..."

Due to not looking where he was going, Gui accidentally knocked into someone.

"Gui..." Amidst the collision, an angelic voice spoke to him. "What are you even doing?"

At the sound of the voice Gui glanced up. "His Highness! I uh... uhhh..." Gui couldn't find any word to say.

"Well?" Prince said, trying to maintain an unamused frown. He had actually been entertained by what he heard.

"I'm uhhh... I have to go! Yu Lian is calling me! Goodbye my beloved." Gui ran away.

"What did you call me!? Get back here you stupid bard!" Prince yelled at the retreating Gui. It had become natural by now to banter back and forth and there was no reason to change it. They both knew it wasn't anything threatening anymore.

[This guy, what will I do with him?] Prince thought to himself.

{-}

Gui got to the podium in record time and without being sent to the rebirth point.

Huffing and gasping for air he placed his hands to his chest in a crossed manner, let's just get this over with.

"Yu Lian I'm here." He said.

"Gui!" Yu Lian waved her hand from the outer part of the podium and called him over to where the blueprints were.

Once he was over to where she was, the wizard quickly went over the details.

"The original blueprint said that this part," Yu Lian was pointing to the outer part, "was supposed to be in gold. Right now it's red."

"So just change it? Did you really need to call me here for this?" He said aggravated.

"Apparently," Yu Lian stated, "the construction people made the deal with you." She said.

"What's the problem? You're part of the Odd Squad too."

"They wouldn't let me sign because you have the contract. Even though, you know, I'm the one who handles the money."

"Oh I think it slipped my mind to give you it." Gui grabbed a black pen and the contract from his inventory. He wrote out the changes and gave it to Yu Lian. "Okay if that was all," and with that Gui waved his goodbye and began to walk away.

"I'll PM you if something arises."

"Of course you will." He muttered.

{-}

"And that was an example of a Chinese proverb." Gui said to the class the following day.

"Your homework is to choose one of the many proverbs we have discussed and how they still affect our lives even today. Class dismissed."

Gui sighed and went to his desk to gather up everything he had used during the lesson.

Internally, he was having a debate and he was dying from not gazing into Feng Lan's beautiful face.

Just two more years, Gui! Just two more years! he was cheering himself on.

As he packed up the last things like his book and laptop Gui sighed once again.

"Why is my life so hard?"

"Hey Gui, we don't want to interrupt your internal monologue but uhhh... have a minute? We need to talk to you."

Gui raised up his head and glanced around. Everyone had already filed out and the only ones standing there were Feng Lan and Yang Ming.

Okay. So she was not alone. He could deal with this.

Gui coughed, "Yes, of course Feng Lan. What seems to be the matter?"

Feng Lan spared a glance to him, only to glance away just as quickly. "Ahh... Right." she wanted to roll her eyes, he was acting so weird!

"Well, it's not really school related." She mentioned.

Gui nodded. "Okay. What's wrong?" What ever it was he couldn't say no to her either way.

"Go on, Yang Ming, you tell him." Feng Lan urged.

"What!? Why me!?" Yang Ming said.

"He talks to you more." Feng Lan gazed away from their teacher once more.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" Yang Ming raised his hands in defeat. "Now it's not the time for you to act like this, sis!"

Feng Lan squeaked. "I'm not acting like anything."

"Act like you do at home." Yang Ming stated.

"I'd rather not, you shouldn't either."

"Yeah... What can I say? At home I'm a bad boy. No wonder Lolidragon likes me so much."

"Stupid brother! We all know you're not! So just tell Gui so that we can leave." She made it appear to be that she wanted to be out of the classroom as soon as possible.

"Stupid sister! Look you idiotic bard, what's going on is that our parents are in town visiting and we need you to tone down your gay."

"Visiting Yang Ming, really?" Lan retorted.

"They barely come home! It's technically not their house anymore."

Gui blinked and gaped in disbelief. "... Tone down my gay?" He then glanced to Feng Lan.

"Look Gui, there's no nice way to say this..." Feng Lan said with a sigh. She took notice that Gui was pouting, but how he was still managing to stare confusedly at the same time was amusing to her. "It's bad enough I am a male in-game, but with you hovering over me like a hawk, it'll be difficult for me."

"Because I need to tone down my gay?" Gui pouted.

"I know that's how you are Gui, but yeah, while my parents are around it would be great." Feng Lan almost felt bad, almost.

"I'm sorry I wasn't straight enough for you, Your Highness."

"HEY! I'm here too. Stop flirting!" Yang Ming shouted. He noticed that Gui and Feng Lan both looked like they were representatives for tomato fields. He almost squeaked an "I'm sorry" but bit it back last minute.

At that moment the door to the room opened and it startled them. It was Tian Lang who had come into the room. "Huh? Is this O.S. school meeting day? No one told me." He said, sounding slightly disappointed.

"It just happened." Yang Ming said.

"Why wasn't I made aware?" Tian Lang asked.

"Well, what did you come here for then?" Gui asked curiously.

"I came to see if you were still around so we can go grab something to eat." Tian Lang said.

Yang Ming sighed in relief. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes, food! I accept, let's go."

"I..." Tian Lang glanced around the room. "Yeah, okay let's go." He nodded.

"ONWARD!" Yang Ming exclaimed happily.

"You two coming along? You can catch me up to what's going on and we can discuss things there." Tian Lang said laughing at Yang Ming's enthusiasm.

"We're eating with Wolf-gege!" Feng Lan squeed happily. "Of course I'm coming along!"

At first Gui didn't want to move. Yet seeing Feng Lan so happy, even if it was for food, made him happy as well. Besides, who said students and teachers couldn't go grab something to eat as friends every once in a while?

Plus this was a group outing. Nothing wrong with that.

"Alright, let me just grab my bag and we can leave." Gui said.

"Hurry up! The longer we take the longer I have to wait to eat." Yang Ming said.
