Here I am again! Using the last day of my 'spring break'. Our 'spring break' consists of a four day weekend and… yeah :/ it kinda sucks. But the weather here is 70 degrees, so Mira and I are spending it outside! :D

Needless to say, Opal was in shock. "Wh- What… I mean… I-!" she stuttered. "How can I… I mean, I'm nothing special like that! I mean…" she gazed down at herself, her petite little frame, her small hands, her fluffy brown fur. "I'm just… well, I'm just me."

"Precisely." Savas petted her head. "You are truly yourself. You are loving, kind, with a heart of gold beating in your chest."

"I…" she had no idea how to respond.

"Child…" he sighed heavily, seeming reluctant. "We have a very important thing to ask you."

"What is it?"

"First, though, my dear, we must inform you of the dangers it could bring." She swallowed audibly and nodded for him to continue. "Perhaps if you could hold the Scepter for us, you could release our mother from her curse. And she, in turn, could aid our dear young Time into returning."

"Do you mean Lady Raz?"

"Yes, my dear. With Kari's knowledge and power, she could surely gather her essence and soul once more and bring our beloved Time back into this world."

"You mean…" Opal's eyes grew wide and lit up. "She could bring Raz back to life?!"

"Potentially, yes."

"That's wonderful!" leaping up and giggling, she spun in circles, hugging herself. "This is great! Raze will come home again!"

"Quite the reason to celebrate, yes." However, Savas' voice was heavy with guilt.

"Wh… What's the matter? Why aren't you happy? If Raz is your sister… don'tcha want her ta come back?"

"But of course we do, Opal dear!" exclaimed Avi. "It is all we have longed for for the twenty years she has been separated from us. "But… the hazards it may propose…"

Opal blinked. "I… I don't get it."

"Child" Saves gently picked her up, cradled in his palms, and looked her in the eye. "You must understand… there is quite a difference between destiny and ability. While it is quite possible for you to hold the Scepter… if it is not your destiny, well…"

Opal was beginning to get frightened now, her eras lowering and her nose twitching with worry. "Wh… what'll happen to me?"

"It will warp your fate… and perhaps end your life the moment you use its power."

Zalim had just straightened up and was about to leave his wife in peace… when a screaming blur of gray came hurtling at him and something sharp sliced into his neck. He cried out in pain and surprise, not expecting that. "WHO DARES-"

"And just who da you think you are?!" he slowly looked down, neck already closing up, crimson blood clearing from his stark white fur. Down there stood that odd little rabbit from before, who had seemingly destroyed Kertenkele's Orb of power.

"I know, child, that I am the ruler of this place, and you have just ENFLAMED MY TEMPER!" freezing the rabbit on the spot, he lifted it up, hand lit with blue fire, ready to incinerate it on the spot. This pesky little mortal dared try to first, harm him, and even worse, in his precious bride's resting place?! He would be punished

"Hey, put me down!" he demanded, still struggling and squirming. "Who do you think you are, makin out with my baby sisters' body?!"

This surprised him enough to keep from blasting the little creature into oblivion. He rose an eyebrow, dire still glowing. "You claim ties to my bride?"

"She ain't year bride! She ain't anyone's! She's ours and that's it!"

He narrowed his red eyes. "Is that so?"

The rabbit glared back. "Yeah. Dude, we raised her. She belongs with us!"

"I've had just about enough of this!" Zalim snapped. "My Raz did mention an odd adoptive family… perhaps you are a member of her clan?"

"I'm her brother!"

"…I see. Then I suppose I can't kill you." He dropped him carelessly. "My Raz wouldn't approve it."

"Gee, thanks." he grumbled, rubbing his sore head. He proceeded to point his knife at him again. "And lets get one thing straight, buddy. She ain't yours!" however, he found himself speaking to nothing. He'd vanished. "Hey, how- how'd you do that?! You come back here! I ain't done with you yet! HEY!"
