Severus waits for the moment in his life where everything will change for the best. Death and Fate have a good laugh with him. Once his hopes and his will to live are disposed of, Severus finds himself back within the familiar walls of Hogwarts. It's pitiful, really, but then again Dumbledore always had a soft spot for lost boys.
