Chapter 13: Meeting The Champ And His Daughter
"Aren't you going to change from that stained outfit?" Puar asks as she, Goten, Trunks Oolong and I walked downstairs.
"Oh ya, I forgot about that. Unfortunately, I still need to wash my clothes." I sighed.
"You can borrow one of my mom's outfits." Trunks offered while taking a look at my bloody attire. That would mean we're gonna have to fly all the way to West City. That's far away, but if I have to, then i'm gonna have to go there.
"Lets just go..." I sighed once more, leaping into the air with Trunks and Puar after we strolled out the door. I noticed that Goten and Oolong didn't do the same and waited for them to fly along with the three of us.
"What are you waiting for? Lets go already!"
"I don't know how to fly though..." Goten confessed a little disappointed.
My eyes went wide immediately after he said that. Didn't Gohan teach him? Talk about being a big brother!
"How come Gohan never taught you how, Goten?"
"Because mommy always makes him study." He answers.
No wonder why he doesn't know how to fly. Chi-Chi has Gohan study for hours. I know she wants him to not be like his father when it comes to his IQ. Gohan did explain to me that his dad was a little naive. Even so, she's really strict with him!
I guess I might gonna have to carry him.
"Wait, I know! NIMBUS!" Goten screams.
"I completely forgotten about the flying nimbus! Good thinking Goten!" I praise him while the fluffy cloud stopped right in front of him. Goten jumped on it and raised his fist in the air.
"We can go now!" He shouts excited.
"Hold on! What about me?" Oolong asks with annoyance in his voice.
"What about you? Yamcha informed me that you can transform. Just change into a bird or something." I suggested while folding my arms.
"Did he also mention that I can only hold a form for five minutes?!" Oolong asked.
"I guess not.." I say scratching my scalp with my index finger.
"You can hop onto the flying nimbus with Goten!"
"Oolong can't ride the nimbus cloud, he'll fall right through." Puar informed me.
I sighed, thinking of another way.
"I got an idea! You can stuff me in your bra. That way i'll be warm and comfortable." Oolong snorted.
"You Pig! No wonder why you can't ride the nimbus!" I yell angry.
"Your lost then.."
I'll just carry him. Can we go already?" Trunks insisted, looking very impatient as he lifted Oolong off the ground.
"Thanks Trunks!"
Finally after making it to Capsule Corp, we descended on the ground and knocked on the door.
"Oh! Tania, Trunks, Goten, Oolong and Puar, come on in." Mrs. Briefs welcomes us as she lets us in.
"Why are you here? Did you come to eat some more cake or maybe cookies with milk?"
"Oh boy, cake and cookies!" Oolong and Goten say in unison.
"No, we need to borrow an outfit." I answer.
"Oh dear! What happened to you?!" She gasped after seeing the blood on my clothes
"It's a long story."
"Where's Gohan? Isn't he usually with you?" She asked.
"He's at Kame House. He'll be fine on his own right now.." I say a bit sadden as I continued walking towards Bulma's room. This house is so huge! It feels like there's no end to it, wow! I looked at Goten, Trunks and Oolong who was drooling as soon as we walked passed the kitchen.
"You guys can eat if you want. Just be done by the time i'm done changing, okay?"
"Okay!" The three of them said as they ran to the table and took a seat while Mrs. Briefs got some cake and other sweets for them to devour.
After making it to Bulma's beautiful room, I opened up the closet to see some breath taking, designer clothing. "Puar, look at this! Designer clothing!"
"Here, I think that you should wear this one. It might be old, but Bulma worn this when her and Goku first went to search for the dragonballs some time ago." Puar explains as she took out a white shirt with brown shorts that went with a red jacket and red/white shoes.
"Really? She wore this when her and Gohan's dad went dragonball haunting?" I questioned the blue cat in disbelief. She nodded her head and handed it to me, stating that I would look good in the outfit, much like Bulma did when she was around my age.
I agreed to wear it and began to remove my previous attire and slipped on the old clothing Bulma worn. Puar was right, this does look nice on me! It might be old fashioned, but it does make me feel pretty good.
Now that I have some new clothing to wear, we can go to that new city I keep hearing people talk about. This is going to be exciting! They say that there's a famous person who lives there. I wonder who it can be?!
"Time to find out! Trunks, Goten, Oolong, where are you?! Time to go now!" I yell as I realized they were not in the kitchen or eating snacks.
I went outside to see them trying to look in some kind of big white thing that read Capsule Corp. It looked as though it could've been some weird spaceship or something like that. "That's where you guys went off to! Lets go now i'm done!"
"SHHH!" They hushed me as they continued to look inside.
Deciding to see what they were up to, I walked up to one of the windows and took a peak inside. "Vegeta?! What's he doing in there?"
The room was red and it seemed as though Vegeta couldn't really stand up straight as though something was pushing him down. When I took a better look, there were these machines that kept on shooting energy blasts at him. However, Vegeta managed to keep on deflecting or blocking them then destroyed the machines.
"My dad is so awesome!" Trunks says as the other two nodded. I smiled after he said that. Trunks really cares for his father the same way Future Trunks does. It's pretty crazy that they're both here in this time. If I were to see myself whether its an older or younger version i'll be in shock, but happy!
I threw Trunks and Oolong in the air then carried Goten over to the nimbus cloud.
"Hey! What was that for?!" Trunks and Oolong shouted irritated and angry.
"I told you that I was done, but you didn't listen to a single word I said!"
"Where are you taking us anyway, Tania?" Goten questioned with his usual adorable voice. I thought for the name of the city then finally remembered what it was called.
"Satan City!"
Upon arriving, we descended to the ground looking around the city. It seemed so boring until we saw a girl being held captive by some big guy with sunglasses and a braided ponytail. He was holding her with his arm with a gun pointed at her temple.
"Lets go Goten!"
"Okay Trunks!"
"No! Get back here! It's too dangerous for you two!" I try to stop them, but they didn't listen and took off.
"You two stay here!" I demanded to Puar and Oolong and took off running.
By the time I got to the scene, the police looked as though they were hesitating to shoot or even take a step forward. Goten and Trunks were hesitant to attack too.
"Take one step forward and Hercule's daughter gets it!" The man threatened as he pushed the gun harder onto her.
Oh brother, is this guy serious? I slapped my hand onto my forehead thinking how dumb this man was. I cracked my knuckles and was about to go in and save her but was held back when I saw another man appear out of nowhere.
"LEAVE MY VIDEL ALONE!" He screamed as he proceeded to knock the man out hard onto the ground.
I couldn't help but laugh at this guy's appearance. He had a large afro, a mustache, a long brown shirt with a white sash around the waist, and white baggy sweatpants with brown/white boots.
"HERCULE! HERCULE! HERCULE!" The crowd chanted.
Didn't I hear that name before?
I decided to stand back and let the man save his daughter. He seems like he has everything under control here. Watching the big man get back to his feet the girl who was referred to as Videl kneed him in the stomach then grabbed his arm and threw him over her back. The audience went wild as they continued to fight those other men, but eventually more and more of them kept coming and I was forced to step in.
"Ma'am you must stay behind this yellow tape!"
"Buzz of!" I growl while jumping over the yellow line and running towards the girl.
"Need help?" I ask as I stood in front of her.
"No Thanks, I don't need any of your help." She answers rudely.
I sighed. She can't be serious, she's basically surrounded by men and they're a lot stronger than she is. Suddenly a man with a knife went up to Videl and tried to cut her throat until I swiftly kicked him into a building.
Whoops, I went a little too far! I really need to hold back my strength so that I don't hurt these people.
Videl gave me a cold stare and went on taking out most of the men with one punch or kick. Wow! She's stronger then what I thought!
"Tania! That's not fair! Why are you the only one that gets to fight all the bad guys?!" Goten whined making a whole scene.
"Okay fine! You and Trunks can help out too, just please be careful.."
"Yay!" Trunks and Goten yelled, jumping over the tape and effortlessly pounding each guy out with a finger.
I knew they were strong for their age, but that's amazing! The crowd looked confused as we were doing way better than that man and his daughter. I smiled at them and told them that we were some of Hercule's students to which they believed.
"Get em, Tania!" Some random person screamed while raising his fist in the air. I blushed a little and stopped one of the men from trying to shoot me. Everyone gasped as I caught the bullet and sended it straight to their vehicle since the guys with the money were trying to escape.
"Goten, Trunks, i'll leave the rest up to you!" I say as I ran towards the vehicle to beat the robber's that was in there.
"Don't kill me!" They all begged as they struggled to get out of the van.
"Who said that i'll kill you? If you just come over here calmly I might let you not get a painful beat down." I promised catching a few handcuffs the police thrown to me.
They obeyed and got handcuffed and put into a police car. I went back to the others to see that they've also beaten everyone up and had them arrested. Goten and Trunks were doing a fist pump and came back over to me.
"Did you see us? We were awesome huh?" Trunks asked.
"Yeah, both of you were! Good job. Now we probably should get going before all the-" I begin to say, but was caught off by a large amount of unwanted attention.
"We heard that your name is Tania! Do you mind asking a few questions for our viewers?"
"You must be Goten. You're very strong for a kid, what did teach you?"
"Young man, is it true that you three are a student of Mr. Satan?!" A reporter asked as he pressed his microphone up to Trunk's mouth.
"Get that thing off of me!"
There was also a large amount of paparrazzi's by Hercule and Videl, taking a numerous amount of pictures. It seemed like they didn't mind having all those people taking photographs of them, they were naturals!
Fortunately for us, they eventually walked up to us thanking the three of us for our help then welcomed us to their home. I told them that we didn't want to come over, but when Hercule said that we could eat as much food as we wanted I had no choice but to go there. I didn't have any breakfast at all today!
After arriving there they opened the door to their enormous mansion and told us to take a seat in the dining room. Thankfully the butler lead us there, but before we could get there Videl dragged me with her in some random direction.
"Where are you taking me?!"
"I need to show you something. I have to know if your related to any of these people in this tape dad tried to hide." Videl explains as she lead me to her room.
I think I could've died when I saw how gorgeous it was. So huge, full of beautiful colors, a king sized bed.. Everything a teenage girl would dream . She took out a DVD tape and placed it in her DVD player. She locked the door and sat down next to a coffee table watching observantly at the people in the T.V
I couldn't really see who it was and scooted more towards Videl.
It's Gohan and the others! Is this when they were in the Cell Games?! But the real question is, HOW DID SHE GET THAT TAPE?!
