Chapter 14: A Gift For Gohan

Gohan's P.O.V

A few hours passed by since Tania left. The others left too, and I couldn't get over the fact that Eternal is Tania's other half.

I glanced at the clock as it read 8:44. Laying my head back down on the pillow, I stared at the ceiling thinking about Tania. I only just asked her to take Goten home, so what's taking so long?

"Gohan! My poor baby!" Mom cried after barging into the room then proceeding to squeeze the life out of me.

"Mom?! How did you get here?"

"Tania told me what happened." She answers after letting me go.

I then heard a giggle from the front of the room and saw Tania holding a stack of books. She then setted it down on a side table and sat down on the chair beside me.

"Are you feeling any better Gohan?" She asks while removing the band-aid on my cheek and replacing it with a new one.

"Yeah, what happened to Goten?" I ask.

"Oh, he's spending the night at Trunks's house."

"Now Gohan, if you're feeling better, then it's time to catch up on your homework and studies." Mom says as she placed a large history book on my lap.

"Not now mother..." I sighed heavily.

"Don't argue with me son. Remember, you and your father promised me that after you defeated the androids and save the world, you were going to continue with your education."

"Alright, you win. I'll study.."

"Thank you. I'll be staying at Bulma's for the night and when I return in the morning, you better be done! Tania are you coming too, sweetie?" Mother asks Tania while slightly opening the door.

"No, you can go ahead. I'll spend the night here."

Mom nodded and shutted the door behind her after saying "Goodnight."

Tania grabbed another history book and flipped it to a certain page.

"Gohan, it's time to do your homework!" Tania demanded, acting a little suspicious while turning on the radio.

"So what took you so long?" I ask raising an eyebrow. Tania shifted in her seat uncomfortably.

"About that...um-" She starts to explain before being cut off by a news reporter on the radio.

"A couple of hours ago today, world champion, Mr. Satan, effortlessly beaten and arrested several big men who held his daughter, Videl, hostage. Three new heroes who went by the name Tania, Goten and Trunks, came to the scene of the crime, claiming to be three of Hercule's students. They proved this by knocking out most of the men with one punch or kick. Although, after seeing them take off from Satan City, all who lives in this city will wait for the return of these saviors."

I turned back to Tania and stared.

"You caught me! I hope your not mad or anything. I only went there to get something very special." Tania laughed nervous.

"Like what?"

"Um, don't worry about that. You should just focus on your homework.." She says desperately trying to make me more focus on what mom wanted me to do. Still wanting a answer, I did the only thing that'll make her fess up.

"Just tell me Tania.." I whisper in her ear while gently stroking her cheek, then inching my lips closer to hers. I knew that I was being evil, but I had no choice! Atleast I was enjoying this moment as much as she was.

"G-Goh-Gohan" She stuttered as I felt her temperature rising up. I smirked, knowing that anytime now she was going to give in.

"Okay... It's just a dra-dragonball." Tania confessed, her face still a bright red. I pulled away and grinned.

"You found a dragonball?! Which one?" I ask, my heart still pounding a little.

"The four star.." She sighed obviously disappointed.

"What's wrong?" I questioned her worried.

"It's not important.. Gohan, you should probably get back to your studies. I'll just go to bed. Goodnight!" She said with slight anger in her voice before storming out of the room. Slamming the door behind her, causing it to break off along with large chunks of the wall.

I gulped. "She's really mad. I wonder what I did to her this time?!"

Tania's P.O.V

I stormed out of Gohan's room in a fit of anger and went downstairs to relax on the couch. I can't believe he just did that to me. It was like he was doing that just so that I could tell him what was going to be a surprise! Well, the dragonball wasn't really the big surprise.

When I was still in Satan City, I watched almost the whole Cell games up until the point where Gohan's power was too much for the camera to handle. I watched how Hercule was so easily defeated. I expected that! The thing that surprised me though was when Cell called the man who fought him after Hercule, Goku. That whole time that amazing fight I was watching was Gohan's dad against Cell! He was amazing!

I knew that Gohan's birthday was coming up on the 18th of May and I just.. I don't know, I think that he would probably want to watch his father's last great fight again. It's May 1st right now and it's about to be the 2nd in three hours. I really want to give this tape I won from Videl to him for his birthday!

I won't lie, Videl was very stubborn when we sparred together. I knew that I had to go really easy on her so I guess I didn't throw much of a punch, unless I wanted to hurt her, but I could'nt do that. That's not right, and besides, she would probably be dead if I actually went through with that.

Sighing, I sat down on the couch and took a deep breath.

"Stupid Gohan.."

"Tania? Why aren't you with Gohan?" Master Roshi asks as he came inside with turtle.

"Cause i'm just not!" I yell folding my arms over my chest and blowing my bang out of my eyes.

"I think she's angry with him, master." Turtle informs Roshi.

"Of course she is you idiot!" He shouted. He then sat down next to me and my instincts was telling me to move over to the other side of the couch.

"I'm pretty irritated and tired, so now is probably not the best time to try and make a move on me!"

"Calm down, I wasn't gonna do that." Roshi claimed.

"I'm sorry, its just, i'm so irritated with myself right now." I reply while still thinking about Gohan at the same time.

"Why?" Turtle asked curious.

"Everytime I see Gohan I feel so happy. When I say happy I REALLY mean the kind of happiness i've never felt before in my life. I can't get him out of my head, he's on my mind constantly! Now when I see him, my heart skip beats and I don't know how to react to it and so, I get really mad and storm off somewhere else. I don't know what's wrong with me." I explain putting my hand over my heart while it started thudding really hard again.

"That's an easy answer." Roshi responded.

"How so?"

"The master thinks that your in love with Gohan. Am I right?" Turtle asked as Roshi nodded.

I didn't know what to think after he said that. Me in love? With Gohan?! That's not possible though, i'm not in love with him. There's no way!

"Your lying!" I spat at the two of them.

They gave eachother a confused look and sighed.

"You're lying to yourself, Tania." Roshi countered with a serious look on his face.

"I don't get it! I don't.."

"Your so different from other girls, usually when a girl falls in love I would expect them to act how Bulma does." Master Roshi thought.

I didn't say a word, but instead thought back to my old life. It hurt to not be accepted by others. Even though I vowed to never fall in love, After meeting him, he changed me. I really cared for someone else other than myself and my family.

"Your right.. i'm not like other girls, but now I know that I am in love with Gohan. Thank you for helping me realize that."

"No problem." They both say in unison.

"You know old man, your not that bad.."

They didn't say a word and just stared at me. I stood up and went upstairs back to Gohan's room and walked through the broken wall I made and saw him studying. It doesn't look like he noticed me yet until I called his name.

"Gohan?" I ask, only to have him jump a little frightened.

"Yeah.. what is it?"

I looked into his dark brown eyes, and immediately got lost in them. Smiling I layed down on the right side of him and held onto his left arm while resting my head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry.." I apologize before kissing him.

I saw Gohan blush after I did that.

"It's okay. You don't have to apologize." He accepted.

Tired, I felled asleep with my head still resting on his shoulder.

Roshi's right, I really am in love with Gohan..

Well i'm finally done with this chapter! The next chapter will be about a dream Eternal shows Tania about her past and how her life was with the man she thought loved her.

The next chapter will be called "A Tragic Love Story Part 1" Just a heads up there will be 7 parts to this. Don't worry though, I promise it'll be interesting! :) Please review everyone! 3
