Chapter 15: A Tragic Love Story Part One
(Tania's Dream)

Eternal's P.O.V

I wandered through the thick forest, collecting herbs and other medicine to give to the village that was tortured by our own kind: The saiyans.

We all lived on a planet named Kagonart. Us saiyans are well-known for our lust for battle, pride and eating habits. Unlike most saiyans, I did not share our love for battle. Most kill their opponents. There was no point in trying to kill others unless it was to save others who are in danger. I've noticed that whenever a saiyan escapes near death, our power would increase ten-fold.

I knew myself and another man was the only ones that had knowledge about this, since we were the only two on this planet who are able to sense ki. After gathering everything I needed, I headed back to the village.

By the time I got there, 25% of those who were severely injured had passed away.

"E-Eternal, please h-help us." A small child croaked, tears rolling down his bleeding cheeks.

Without hesitation, I made my way over to him and kneeled.

"Please do not cry, you're a saiyan! Young one, do not worry though, I may not be able to heal you and your people immediately, but I will be able to numb the pain."

I then stood up and closed my eyes.

"Everyone! I'll numb the unbearable pain you're experiencing. Before I do this though, you must all promise me that you'll not move an inch until I give you this medicine! If you do, you might rupture an organ and die. Do I make myself clear?!" I asked through everyone else's mind.

"Yes." They answered back telepathically.

I nodded and proceeded to gather up some of my own pure energy then at once, released all of it outside my body and into the saiyans who was close to certain death.

Falling onto my knees, I desperately gasped for clean air. I over did it with my energy...

"Eternal, are you alright?" A males voice cried out.

"I'll be okay, i'm just exhausted, that's all."

After resting a few seconds, I reached out for the medicine I brought back with me from the forest and heated it up so that it was now in liquid form. Using my hands, I held onto the liquid medicine and ordered the injured to sip on it cautiously.

One by one I went over to the next person and allow them to take in what they needed.

"You should feel a lot better in a few minutes." I informed a young female.

"Thank you." She muttered.

Just as I predicted, everyone soon began to stand up and stretched their bodies. I immediately sensed that all their power levels increased dramatically.

Even though I could've asked what happened, I instead left the group of warriors in search of the one person who I already knew done this.

Following the strong ki, I eventually made my way to the person and paused when I saw a man looking up in the sky. I've fought him a million times before, and never lost once! Since i'm a godess, each one of the saiyans would have to obey my rules on this planet. One of the rules I do not like getting broken is: No killing

If someone were to break this rule more than two times, I would have to punish that person by taking their own life. I don't want to, but if its to protect the peace of this world, then I have no choice.

However, this man... Although he slaughtered hundreds, maybe even thousands, I couldn't bring myself to end his life.

"Eternal, the beautiful saiyan goddess-"

"Be quiet Thornkin! Why did you attack all those people?!" I almost yelled as he turned his attention to me.

Thornkin was very handsome. He had short black hair with spiky hair that hung perfectly over his face. When I first met him about a year ago, his eyes were filled with hatred and anger. Now when I get a better look at them, it seemed a little more innocent and understanding.

They were black, but fitted well with his relaxed face. Thornkin also had a rather muscle-toned body. He stood about 5'11 while I stood 5 foot 6. He's only one year older than me too, i'm seventeen and he's eighteen.

"I don't have a reason. I was just simply bored." He shrugged.

Those words boiled violently through my veins. He tried to kill them all cause he was bored?! I clenched my fist hard and gave him a cold stare.

"This time it's your turn to attack me Eternal, but i've been training hard everyday since the last time we fought. Just to let you know, I won't be going easy on you!" He spat.

"Alright then, i'll use my full power on you if you want. Just don't whine like a cry baby after i've beaten you." I said.

Rushing foward, I brought my knee up so I could knee him in the stomach. Once I was near him, Thornkin grabbed a hold of my knee and punched me in the face. I flew backwards and steady myself as I hit the ground. I stood back up and placed my hands on each side of my hips.

"I'm impressed Thornkin. However, i'm afraid that you're gonna have to do a lot better than that!"

Thornkin frowned and raced towards me and brought his fist back so that he could punch me. I quickly dodged and withdrew my leg back, kicking Thornkin in the side.

He flew backwards, but stopped himself from flying and flew back towards me. I flew up and noticed Thornkin was following me. Stopping short, I disappeared and reappeared behind him. Before Thornkin could react, I elegantly kicked him in the back which sent him flying. Unfortunately, he caught himself again and stared at me.

"Hmph. You know Eternal, I realized that I love to fight someone like you. A gorgeous women like you though shouldn't be fighting. I'd hate to tear your pretty face apart." He laughed, giving me a wink afterwards.

"Q-Quit it! Your acting so strange now! Those other times we fought, you've never called me gorgeous or never winked at me before. So just stop with the flattery!" I shouted embarrassed.

He sighed. "It's not my fault that you're making me even more attracted to you everytime I see you. By now, you must feel the same way about me too, since you never finish me off."

I looked at him and felt my face turn hot. Attracted to me? I'm a saiyan goddess, no one should fall in love with me. I only exist here to bring peace, not to fall in love! Especially no to someone who murdered thousands!

While I was to busy thinking, Thornkin must've used this time to lunge forward and punch me in the face again. I fell down to the ground violently. Getting up, I dusted myself off and saw that my tail became loose. I then firmly wrapped it around my waist and glared at my opponent.

"Thornkin, you're such a liar! I know you said that, just to gain the upper hand, you jerk!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Pissed off, I flew full speed to him and tried to punch him in the mouth, only to have him catch my fist and pull me close to him.

"I wasn't lying Eternal, I think i'm in love with you.." Thornkin informs me before pressing his lips onto mine. My heart beat was pounding out of control as he did that, and for some reason I returned the kiss.

Suddenly, after about ten seconds, I remembered about the injured saiyans and broke away from the kiss. He still had his eyes closed and using the chance I had, banged my head against his.

He let me go instantly. Rolling my eyes playfully, I kicked him in the stomach. Smiling as I watched him crash back down to the ground, I crossed my arms over my chest and descended to where he was and landed my feet onto the ground.

I walked over to Thornkin and grabbed him by his shirt.

"Give up?"

"You wish." He responded quickly.

I smirked and tossed him back into the sky the charged a ki blast, and lastly, blasted him with it. Waiting patiently for the smoke to clear, I saw as Thornkin emerged, and when he got close enough to me, we got caught up in a heat of insanely powerful fists and kicks.

Kicking, dodging, punching, blocking. It never stopped!

With one last punch, I hit Thornkin in the face while he did the same to me at the exact same time. We flew slightly away from each other and for the very first time, I smiled at him.

"You know what? I think i'll call this match a draw." I announce, trying to catch my breath while wiping blood off of my wounded lips.

Thornkin was frowning, but then changed that expression to a confident grin. "I told you that I wasn't gonna go easy on you."

This was actually the VERY first time i've seen him grin like that. I flipped my long silver hair out of my face and gazed at him with my innocent sky blue eyes.

"The next time I fight you, I won't EVER let this happen again, got that?!"

"No.." Thornkin replies as he fell from the sky and dropped onto the ground unconscious.

I smiled a little and slowly flew back to my family. Thornkin changed a little I think..

A/N- Just if anyone is wondering, I decided to name the saiyans original planet Kagonart because since this took place long before Frieza and the tuffle thing happened, the saiyans had to have their own planet too right?
