Blake POV.

I sit down sighing loudly, I feel someone sit down next to me, I see Nessa.

"It's my birthday!" She announces.

I blink "It is?"

She nods, her tight curly black hair bobbing up and down "Yes, and I don't want of my friends being morbid"

I smile at her as she stands up and offers her hand, I gladly take it.

"Didn't you want anything?" I ask.

She shakes her head "Just company, even if it is you"

I laugh "You make me feel so special Vanessa Santiago"

Nessa winks at me "I try princess"

I laugh "I'm so happy you're my prince charming"

Nessa snorts "That's what you think, doll face"

I laugh again "Birthday girl I want to take you anywhere you want to go"

"Um I want to go...to I actually don't know it's like nine in the evening"

"The beach?" I ask offering my arm.

Her massive purple orbs bright up "Yes!" Nessa begins running "Come on princess!"

I laugh and chase after her, I grab her waist making her squeal as I lift her over my shoulder both of us laughing loudly, once we reach the beach I put her down put but she climbs ontop of me making both of us fall into the sand, I tickle her making her shriek and wriggle standing up.

Nessa gives me a wink before running towards the sea, I grin and run after her.

"I'm afraid of the ocean!" Nessa exclaims stopping.

"Then why did you agree to come to the beach?"

"Because I thought we could spend the night conquering fears" Nessa admits.

I smile at her and step forward, I step into the ocean, I hold my hand out.

Vanessa bites her lip before holding my hand tightly and standing in the ocean.

"I'm In the ocean!" she exclaims happily hugging me tightly, I hug back my cheeks burning slightly.

"What are you afraid of?" Nessa asks the wind blowing her curls softly.

"I'm afraid of heights" I admit looking down, I feel my body being tugged as Vanessa drags me further down the beach until we reach a massive boulder.

Nessa begins climbing.

I shake my head "I'm not doing that"

"It's my birthday" She pouts, i sigh and begin climbing.

Don't look down.

I eventually reach the top of the boulder.

Nessa gives me a grin and grabs my hand and drags me to the edge of the boulder.

"We're jumping!"

"I'm not dying today not in my to do list!" I say peering down.

"Come on princess! On the count of three"

I hold her hand tightly.

"One, two, three"

I close my eyes and jump.

I feel my body collide with water, I quickly resurface.

I look over at Nessa and grab her face softly "I did it!" I hug her tightly she giggles.

"I just had to call you princess and you'd do anything" she teases swimming around me.

"Well you are my prince charming"

She laughs "Let's go conquer some more fears"

I nod and we both swim back to shore, my body feels really heavy as my clothes cling to me.

"What else are you scared of?" I ask panting heavily.

"Um, I'm scared of the neighborhood which is down the road"

To be fair that is a rough area, I grab her hand "We'll go to one of the bars"

Nessa nods hesitantly "I'm wet"

I laugh "That's what she said" We both laugh.

As we enter the neighborhood, Nessas grip tightens. I stop at the first bar called "Samrinos"

"Fear two getting checked of list" I mumble as we enter inside, I see big guys with eye patches, tattoos looking like criminals.

"Hey!" They all sing happily, we both exchange a look surprised.

"What can I get the pair?" The bartender asks "If you're going to drink, don't report"

We both nod "two vodka and cokes, we're facing our fears tonight" I say.

The bartender laughs "A bit of dutch courage"

Me and Nessa laugh "Exactly"

We get passed our drinks and say thanks.

I sit down at a booth, the birthday girl joins me.

I raise my drink "To fears and a very happy birthday"

Nessa grins "To fears and thank you" our drinks clink before we drink.

"What's your fear then?" Nessa asks.

I think "I'm scared of snakes"

"We're going to have to break into the zoo" Nessa says finishing her drink, my eyes wide as I quickly finish mine.

We stand up to leave, "By kids!" The bartender calls.

Me and Nessa quickly leave.

"Let's break into this zoo!" I exclaim, we run towards a taxi that's parked outside the bar.

"Hey kids where to?"

"The zoo Rajesh" Nessa burps making me laugh.

"Hey Nessa!" The guy greets "To the zoo"

We drive in comfortable silence, until we reach the zoo.

I quickly pass Rajesh a $10 , he nods as we exit the taxi.

Me and Nessa stop, there's a security guard staring at us.

"You ain't breaking into this zoo"

I pout "Please its my birthday"

Nessa laughs "It's mine!"

I laugh "Exactly!"

"No kids"

"Fine!" We huff and turn away, we quickly turn back and run towards is but the security guard is stood there.

We sulk and walk away.

"What else are you scared of?"

"My bullies" Nessa says.

"Let's egg there house!"

We both nod and laugh and run into the corner shop down the street, I quickly grab a carton of eggs and pay at the counter before running out.

"Where do they live?"

"Across from my house" Nessa says, I smile and grab her hand we run down the street laughing loudly.

We stop once we reach Nessas house, I pant heavily so does Nessa we wheeze loudly falling on to the floor.

"It's 2AM!" I announce.

"i can't be bothered egging...them" She says slyly opening the box of eggs and smashing one on my head, I gasp and laugh as Nessa doubles over with laughter, I smash one hers.

We both laugh loudly.

"Thank you!" I say to between laughs.

"What for your the one who took me out"

I grin at her "If it weren't for you I'd be stuck inside and afraid of heights"

Nessa grins at me and gives me a massive hug, making me fall back onto the ground, we laugh loudly again.

I don't think I've had this much fun ever.

I hit another egg at her making her laugh and throw one at me.

"Well this night has been eggcellent" I tease making Nessa burst out laughing.

"Stop yolking around" She teases back making me laugh.

We lie on the floor and stare up at the stars.

"Look at the stars" I sing.

"Look how they shine for you" Nessa finishes, I look over and smile at her she returns the smile. ,

So it's my birthday tomorrow!

And I know you're gonna be all no I want BLADIE! But I'm digging the Benessa!
