Colin sighed, throwing himself back onto his bed.
Damian had been gone for weeks now. Some secret mission with Bruce at some secret location for an unspcified amount of time. Zero contact had to be maintained for their safety.
Colin groaned loudly, grabbing a pillow and holding it close to his chest. He missed Damian. It wasn't as if this was the first time they were far apart and for so long but, still. It was hard. Playing with his phone, he doesn't expect a call or text but still holds it close, just in case. While he had it, he thought, he might as well mess around. He puts in his password and stares at the screen, wondering if he really wanted to waste time on social media. Instead, he finds his way to his gallery, as he usually does when the need to see Damian's face gets this strong.
And boy, does Colin have pictures. There are literally hundreds of Damian and not in the weird, stalker-ish way. No, these are pictures he has collected over the years. Screenshots of snapchats and pictures from galas and parties. How could Colin not save pictures of Damian in a suit?
Colin looks closely at a few of the pictures, smiling. Damian had gorgeous features and a beautiful tan. His slight smiles and smirks always made Colin's heart beat hard. How did Damian exist? How could someone be so perfect and beautiful? And how in the world is this person dating him? Colin is feeling extremely thankful that Damian showed interest in him, not exactly understanding why, but decides not to think about it too much. It easy to fall into his own insecurities and feel bad about himself when Damian was not here to reassure him. He continues to flick through them, laughing at some of the more off guard pictures of Damian. A lot of them were him looking extremely angry or him just about ready to fight one of his brothers.
An hour later, Colin is snoring with his phone just outside his reach. He had fallen asleep.
[Damian: colin, are you awake? 1:15am]
[Damian: wow you're weak, wilkes. 1:23am]
[Damian: sleep well, baby. see you soon. 1:30am]
