Chapter 20: A Tragic Love Story Part Six

"Never! I'm gonna save Eternal, even if it means losing my own life in the process!"

As I heard that familiar voice, I suddenly began to wake up and realized I was in some kind of pink pod.

"Where am I?" I asked myself while trying to wiggle and swing myself free. "How did I even end up in this thing?"

Suddenly, everything seemed to click. After that pink goo I was in, went into Majin Buu, I blacked out. I sighed as I thought about Thornkin. Why didn't he try to help me get that slimy thing off of me? I can't help but ask myself this: Did he even care?

Okay, now's not the time to be thinking about that. I am in a situation where I can either pass out from how terrible this stench smells or just hurry and get myself out of here.

Seriously, choosing between breathing in fresh, clean air or a possibly intoxicating stink bomb, I think that decision is pretty obvious.

With that decided, I once again began to try and wiggle, bite, claw, and blast myself out of this ball.

Ugh! I can't free myself! I'm encased in this pink ball that is strongly connected by strings that's sticking to the floor and ceiling. If I can't get myself out, I might as well make some sort of clone of myself, so then, it'll free me from this squishy thing.

Just before making myself a clone though, I could hear Thornkin trying to speak to me...

"Eternal! If you can hear me, i'm going to get you out of that monster's body!" He yelled.

I blushed after hearing him say that. Thornkin really does care about me! Okay, now that I know that he's still alive, I need to hurry up and make this clone.

After a few minutes, I successfully made a clone of myself, who had instantly blasted me out of the pod. I sensed Buu's power drop dramatically as soon as I did that. Smiling, I scanned the area and was surprised to see Southern Supreme Kai encased in one of those pods I was in moments ago. I went over to him to see if he was alive and was relieved to find out he was.

However, before I could free him out of his squishy pod, an energy blast had hitted me directly in the back which sended me colliding into a squishy part in Majin Buu's body.

"Ow! That really hurt!" I whined while rubbing my back softly.

Turning around to see who had done that, I saw Majin Buu appear out of this gooey, slimy part of him with a very mad expression on his face.

Majin Buu?! How is he in his own body?!

"Little girl, what do you think you're doing to my people pods?" He asked in an almost terrifying voice. I guess he does know how to talk.

"You know Buu, instead of absorbing others, why don't you fight fair with your own strength?!" I asked.

"I'm not interested in fairness. I'm interested in the extinction of every living creature in the entire universe. A good fighter knows their mental and physical limitations, but a great fighter will figure a way around them." He explained before getting into a stance.

"From the moment I felt you and Thornkin's power joined, I knew I was beaten. Fortunately for me, Thornkin wanted to fight me all by himself. For the first time, I found someone who was my exact equal. If you were to join in the fight, I would've certainly perish. That's when I thought about something.."

I continued to glare at him while getting into my stance. "What was you thinking?"

"If I could hatch a plan to absorb you and your powers, then no force in this entire universe would ever stand a chance against me." He chuckled.

"Well, now that you don't have me in one of your 'people pods' your strength has become pretty pathetic compared to how it was before. Maybe i'll be able to defeat you."

Majin Buu didn't respond and instead shooted an energy blast at me. I managed to dodge it and sended an energy blast of my own. He ducked by pulling himself in the gooey thing and then reappeared behind me.

"Boo!" He yelled.

I screamed as I saw his head leaning towards me with it attached to the wall. He laughed, which made me pissed off. Throwing an energy blast at his head made it exploded, but he just appeared behind me again with his head still attached to the wall. Once again, I blasted his head, but still, he was laughing annoyingly while popping in and out of places.

"Damn it! He's going to quick, I can't focus my aim."

As he kept on doing that, I soon became even more irritated and started shooting energy waves randomly all over the place. I gasped for air.

Suddenly, Buu appeared right in front of me and laughed crazily. "Don't you understand yet?! YOU CAN'T BEAT ME IN THIS PLACE! IT'S BUU! ALL BUU, BUU, BUU, BUU, BUU!"

"SHUT UP ALREADY!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I shot a energy beam at his face.

This is really getting on my nerves! How do I beat him if I can't even get out of his body!

"You can't!" Majin Buu says as he suddenly appeared in my face. Someone please tell me he did not just read my mind.

"I did Eternal.." He answers as he grabbed ahold of my face and thrown me into a wall.

I recovered quickly and sped towards him, kneeing the monster in the stomach. Majin Buu keeled over just as I spun around and kicked him in the head. He flew further away from me and seemed to disappear. I couldn't sense his energy and soon enough that irritating laugh began to echo through my ears.

Looking around everywhere with my defense up, I spotted him swinging upside down from a wall that half of his body was connected to.

"Don't get mad Eternal. This place is not bad to live in for eternity. Your time is running out!" He stated while beginning to tick-tock me.

"We'll see who's running out of time!" I shouted while cupping my hands out in front of me. "Serene Punishment!"

The pink/purple energy wave came spiraling out of my hands and soon made a large explosion as the attack hitted Buu and then made an opening in the wall. There! That's where I can get the hell out of this place!

Unfortunately, as I flew up towards the entry, Buu's face had suddenly formed and popped up in front of me. I fell back to the ground and felt my heart beating wildly out of my chest. Alright, I have to admit, that scared me to death.

"Enough!" He shouted. "Our little game is over! Now you become a part of me again!"

"I'll never be a part of you!" I yelled.

Soon after saying that, I turned around to see a giant fist form from the slimy thing, just in time for it to punch me backwards then throwing an energy blast at me. I felled onto the ground, struggling to stand up. It's impossible to beat him in here. He just keeps popping in and out of places, he won't be still for one lousy minute!

Suddenly, the tissues inside his body began to hover over me. I climbed back to my feet and blasted it. I then began to run away from the tissues and stopped as soon as I thought I was far away from it. Immediately after, Majin Buu's tentacle leashed around my neck and began to swing me into walls. Finally, I bit onto it causing the monster to scream out in pain while dropping me onto the ground.

"You'll pay.." He says angry. "FOR BITING ON MY TENTACLE!"

"You deserved it!" I claimed while he had a irritated look placed on his face. "Come on, that's like cheating right there. I know you said you don't fight fair, but lets keep our tentacles off of each others necks?"

He grunted. "No!"

Once again, Buu's tentacle raced over to me, but this time, I grabbed onto it and launched a furry of attacks to it. Just then, I felt Buu snake his tentacle around my throat, which allowed him to head-butt me repeatedly. Finally, he smashed me backwards through another wall.

"Yuck! I'm covered in goo." I pouted as I stood back up and shaked the stuff off of me.

I noticed that I had wounds on my face and body and felled back onto one knee. I can't stand up straight, i'm too broken!

Looking back up, I saw Majin Buu laughing while the slimy thing from earlier began to slither onto my body. This time I knew I couldn't blast it. Suddenly, I heard Majin Buu's laughter turn into screaming and soon enough, the gooey thing letted go of my body and slammed back into the floor.

What's happening to him?

When I looked behind him, there was an exit. One that revealed daylight that I have not seen in a long while. Using the last ounce of my energy, I flew as fast as I could and finally made it out safely.

I felled to the ground and looked up to see Supreme Kai against a rock with Grand Supreme Kai in front of him.

What's Grand Supreme Kai doing here?

Feeling Buu's energy, I turned my attention up towards the sky and saw him regenerating. So I guess I was able to get out thanks to Grand Supreme Kai. No wonder Buu was screaming in pain, he got chopped to bits. As Majin Buu was reforming, the pink ball shot down at Grand Supreme Kai, trapping him inside.

"GRAND KAI!" I screamed as my superior was struggling to get out of the pink slime that caught me in it a while ago.

"NOOO! I"M THE ONE YOU WANTED! LET HIM GO!" Supreme Kai yelled as the pink ball shrinked then formed smoke around it.

I closed my eyes, not wanting to see the form Majin Buu then taken. Suddenly, I heard a cheerful voice and opened my eyes shocked at what I was seeing. Majin Buu... He looks so... Innocent?

"Buu.. Your fat." Bibidi announced while Majin Buu balanced himself with one hand." Is that really you under there?"

"Yep!" He replied with a happy tone of voice. "Me Buu. Me all Buu from neck to toe. Buu very hungry."

I felled over shocked at how his personality gotten changed dramatically. Now he seems so adorable! His voice is so cute too!

Standing back to my feet, I heard Bibidi talking about getting Buu some cake if he obeyed his orders. Before I could step in and say something, a hand covered my mouth and pulled me back behind the rock Supreme Kai was hidden behind.

"Thornkin, It's you!" I said relieved before I kissed him passionately on the lips. After our lips parted, I sensed an abnormal evil aura inside of Thornkin.

"I'm glad your out of Buu's body Eternal!" He says grinning.

I began to have second thoughts about my senses and turned back to the scene of Buu and Babidi.

"Look at Majin Buu. He's running around like a child would." I said quietly to the Supreme Kai and Thornkin. "I don't think I want to kill him anymore. I can sense the good in him. Do you think that when Daikoshin got absorbed his innocence purified the killing machine into a happy, delicate being?"

"We can't be too sure of that.." Supreme Kai stated.

"Well, just in case i'm wrong, we're gonna have to finish him off. For some reason, he's even weaker than he was before. Thornkin, if we work together, we may be able to finish him off. Lets go!" I suggested, proceeding to take a step forward, but before confronting Buu, Thornkin grabbed on tightly onto my wrist, forcing me to stop.

"Let go Thornkin, your squeezing onto my wrist really hard. It's starting to hurt!" I cried out. He didn't drop his grip and by the time he did, Buu and Bibidi had already escaped into space.

"Thornkin, why did you let them get away?!" I asked angry. When I looked at him in the eye, I saw that both of his eyes had turned to a dark red. I slowly backed away from him but then bumped into someone.

"Emi, Eri! When did you get back here?"

Emi glared at me as Eri did the same. I then looked ahead of me to see Thornkin rushing over to me, launching an energy wave as he gotten to a good enough distance. I flew over to a plateau and slid to the ground blood rushing down my head.

My vision was blurred as I saw Thornkin grabbing onto my hair and looking at me. He didn't look like the Thornkin I knew moments ago, he changed back to the way he was when he slaughtered my parents.

He lied to me..
