Chapter 21: A Tragic Love Story Part Seven (Last Part Finally :D)
Blood rushed down my head as Thornkin grabbed my hair and looked me in the eye. "Thornkin..." I trail off, "I'm not your enemy. Let go of me!"
The more I stared into his lifeless eyes, the more I became afraid. "Eternal!" Supreme Kai yelled, "Get away from those three now! They're already under Bibidi's control!"
My eyes widened at the same time my heart broke in two. Now I know why they are acting so strange. "Supreme Kai, please tell me your joking? You're just kidding around right?!" I asked desperately hoping that he was. "I'm sorry..." The Kai apologized.
Before I could ask anything else, Thornkin dropped his hard grip on my hair and clutched his head in agony. I felled face first on the ground and immediately looked up to see him flicker for a few moments. His form fading in and out slightly. "Supreme Kai look!" Confusion was clearly showing on my face, "He's fading! Kinda like when someone makes a clone of themselves."
"Yes, I see what you mean." He responded with a hopeful tone in his voice. "Unfortunately, even though , this might be a sign that Bibidi didn't actually leave their bodies here, they could actually still really be with him as we speak."
Suddenly, immediately after Supreme Kai spoked, Thornkin proceeded to grab a hold of my hair again and knee me in the stomach. I keeled over, but then barely managed to get out of the way when clone-Thornkin launched an energy wave.
I climbed back onto my feet and smirked.
"Wow!" I say impressed. "Bibidi sure knows how to make a clone look exactly like a person. Too bad he doesn't do well with making their strength higher than what it is."
This time it was Emi's turn to launch a flurry of attacks. Blocking and kicking was all I could do, but when she dropped her guard for a slight instant, I shot at her, kicking the clone backwards. Emi's clone began to fade in and out just like Thornkin's.
As Emi layed there on the ground, Eri tried to punch me in the back of my head. I dodged and elbowed the false-teen girl in the stomach, forcing her to double over. I then raised my elbow and elbowed the princess in the back, then kicked the clone to a cliff.
Just as I readied myself to finish it, Thornkin came shooting out of nowhere and drop-kicked me in the back. I turned and kicked him in the head, but Emi came shooting back and kicked me over to Supreme Kai.
"Are you alright?" He asked while helping me up.
"Yeah.." I answered. "I should've known that fighting these three was going to be tough!"
Looking ahead, I watched fake-Thornkin holding out his palms outward while summoning energy out in front of them.
"Bolten Crusher, FIRE!" He screamed as the powerful energy blast targeted straight at the Supreme Kai and I.
At once, Supreme Kai and I leaped sideways. I caught myself and threw an energy wave at both Thornkin and Emi. The Bolten Crusher impacted on Eri who was right behind me, and my energy wave managed to smash into both Thornkin and Emi. All three frauds dropped to the ground.
"That was too close, huh?"
"Indeed." Supreme Kai agreed relieved. "Now, we must find Bibidi, and come up with a plan to defeat Buu."
I simply nodded and leaped into the air behind him, but the stopped when I sensed a familiar ki. "Eternal, we need to hurry." Supreme Kai ordered after noticing my sudden stop. "I need to check on something real quick, you go ahead."
The Kai nodded and flew out of his own planet into outer space.
"Alright Eri," I yelled, aware of her weakened ki. "You can come out now, no one is here except me."
Looking down, I spotted the badly inured fourteen-year-old princess and immediately speeded downwards to her. "Princess, what happened to you?!"
"Thornkin and Majin Buu were overpowering each other with their energy beams," Eri began to explain. "However, Buu was beginning to win the struggle and sensing the threat, mommy transported her and myself here to help Thornkin. It took a while, but we managed to win and blast Buu into smithereens. This time we thought he was finished, but..."
"Tell me..." I urged after seeing the saddened look on her face. Tears were clear in her eyes as she looked down.
"Mommy..." Eri hesitated as she unshed the tears that was locked in her chocolate-brown eyes. "Thornkin and my mom are dead."
I ruffled the princess's hair, positive that Thornkin and the queen were doing just fine. "Eri, your mother and Thornkin are doing just fine. Supreme Kai told me they are with Bibidi. Don't worry though. I'll save the both of them."
"How can you save what's already dead?!" She yelled.
An uneasy feeling was felt throughout my entire body as she coldly asked me that. I looked at the young girl with tears forming in my eyes.
"Eternal, Supreme Kai lied to you! You should already know this as well as I do. Try to sense their life force." She suggested with a serious look on her face. "Alright, I will." I agreed proceeding to close my eyes and search for both their ki's.
"I-I can't f-feel Thornkin.." I announce as tears glided down my cheeks. "N-No... He can't be dead! H-He just can't do this t-to me!"
There was a silence as I felled onto my knees sobbing with my hands covering my face. "T-Thornkin... He's g-gone. I didn't even get the chance to s-say g-goodbye to him... How... How does such a strong person die? I DON"T GET IT!"
Eri released a fresh set of tears as she watched me break down.
"Tell me... Tell me who did this!" I shouted at my 'younger sister', "Tell me who did this! Was Majin Buu and Bibidi the one's behind all of this?!"
"No." She answered.
"If it wasn't any of those two, then who was it?!"
""It was mommy..."
My eyes widened in shock. Emi was the one responsible for what happened?! I don't believe it. She's to good-hearted to take the life of another. "She was like a mother to me... How can she kill the one person that made me so happy and loved?" I asked Eri, still sobbing from the sudden lost.
"Eternal..." Eri began. "I need to tell you something very important."
I brought my hands down and stared in awe as the teen's body glowed a bright blue. "Eri... your disappearing..."
She smiled and gave me a ring Thornkin was wearing. "Thornkin saved me from mommy... She tried to kill us. Since Thornkin and I thought she was on our side, we dropped our guard down, but as soon as we did that mommy attacked Thornkin and then me. Buu was fighting Supreme Kai and eventually when I tried to help him mommy threw a powerful energy blast at me. One that would've killed me, but Thornkin he... he pushed me away from the blast and he took it full on. He didn't have enough time to defend himself and was severely injured. Of course I immediately went over to him and just before he died he told me to tell you that he was sorry and that he loves you... He also told me to give this ring to you. Thornkin is a true hero!"
Fresh new tears streamed down my face as she handed me his ring. It was the very same ring he wore when we fought against all of our enemies including when he fought me. Thornkin told me that whenever he felt a sense of hopelessness, he would slip on this ring and somehow gather the courage and bravery he needs to carry on. H-His mother gave him this when he was a little boy... She was the only one who he deeply cared about.
"I am forever grateful for you two. Without the two of you, the whole universe would've been destroyed a long time ago. However, before I depart, I need a favor to ask you..."
"What is it Eri?"
Slowly, Eri's body began to glow even brighter as her image began to fade from the bottom up.
"There is a girl you're going to have to find later in the far future..." The teen began. "This is not the last time i'll get to see you Eternal."
"Eri... what are you trying to say?"
She slightly smiled as she place her hand on my shoulder. "May I rest a part of my soul in your heart?" Eri questioned with a more sadden smile.
"Eri I..."
"Once I place this half of my soul into your heart, I promise you you'll have amazing strength as well as the inability to die by natural causes and aging. The other half of my soul will be in that of a child's heart. This girl will have amazing strength eventually, but she will be hold back by her own actions. The girl will not be as strong as you if you were to battle, but the strength of her spirit and mind may prove to be a difficult challenge." Eri finished. "So what do you say 'big sister'? Will you grant my last wish?"
At first I was unsure, but when I saw that 1/4 of Eri's body had vanished, I stopped my sobbing and stood on my feet. "What will this girl look like? How do I know that it's you?!"
"The child I choose will grow up to look very similar to that of myself. Trust me, she may or may not have a similar personality as me, but I can assure you that you'll be able to tell that she's really me." Eri replied. "Also, you're going to have to find someone who goes by the name Cell. You must find this android before he is killed by that of a demi-saiyan or else you will never be able to find the girl!"
"I don't understand what you're telling me. Why do I have to find this 'girl' you speak of? Would there be an effects if I allow you to do this Eri?" I asked.
The princess's smile turned into a frown as she said "Only a few. Your life will be in jeopardy if she were to lose her life, vice versa. There are only three ways you and her can die. Those three are: Extreme heartbreak or depression, suicide or if one of you were to die in battle. As for your first question it's because...
After Eri finished telling me the reason as to why I needed to find the girl, her body was nearly gone. "Eternal, I love you 'big sis'. Until then, bye..."
"Eri WAIT! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!" I cried out for her, but was too late as her body dispersed into a white light. Her soul encircled me before half of it entered my heart. So warm, but yet, sad at the same time. A tear escaped my eyes before I wiped them both away. I looked at Thornkin's ring and held it close to my heart while watching the other half of Eri's soul disappear into the starry night sky.
"Rest in peace everyone..." I bidden farewell as I lifted myself off the ground and went my own way, knowing that Supreme Kai was going to handle Bibidi and Buu just fine without me eventually.
The second Eri went to search for the young child that'll be able to hold the princess's soul inside their heart, she knew she knew that she wouldn't be able to rest for quite some time. Thousands of years had gone by since she departed from Eternal, and finally after all this time she had found a newborn baby girl who was gurgling as a saiyan father picked her up.
"I shall name you... Tania." A man with short, black, spikey hair with a scar running down his left eye determined as he held the saiyan child in his arms, cradling her. "Indeed you should be a fine warrior. A strong warrior that'll make any saiyan father proud."
This child was special to Eri. The way she laughed as he father held onto her gave the princess a smile. Tania's tail swinged left to right as she gurgled again.
"Dadda, dadda!" She spoke which shocked her father, doctors and lastly Eri.
"Amazing!" A purple-skinned, dinosaur looking doctor says amazed. "She was born just two days ago and yet she can already mutter a word."
Eri continued to watch the newborn and finally decided that it shall be Tania that'll be special enough to carry the other half of her soul. Once everyone left the room, a blue light introduced itself in front of the happy girl. The baby responded with squirming and giggles.
"Ba ba daaaa!" Tania tries to speak, but Eri couldn't make out what the newborn was trying to say. The princess smiled to herself. "You're such a happy one, huh? Do you mind if I can share that happiness with you?" Eri asks as the blue orb began to encircle Tania.
Tania looked at the warm light that surrounded her, embracing it instead of rejecting it. Unknown to Eri, the young saiyan child was completely aware of the emotion Eri was sending to her. Accepting the needed help Eri wanted from her, the older saiyan went inside the baby's heart. Tania had glown a bright blue for a few short moments before a young man with long black hair with bangs walked in and stared down at the baby girl.
The man had a crown with a blue jewel that wrapped around his head. In addition to the crown, he also wore a golden necklace, boots, wristbands, and a belt that all sported blue jewels like his crown, along with golden bands on his upper arms and neck. The rest of the man's attire consisted of white pants and a red sash.
At first the man smiled at the new arrival of his baby sister, but when Tania began to cry, it painfully echoed through his ears as her cry reminded him of another saiyan who cried very much like her.
He groaned loudly as he became effected with the baby's sobbing. Unable to withstand the horrible cry, the saiyan picked up the newborn by the tail while using his other hand to cover one of his ears.
"Sh-Shut up!" He shouted as Tania cried even louder than before. "I SAID SHUT UP!"
Putting his palm against the baby's back he prepared to end her life as he charged a ki blast.
However, before he could, the baby's and his own father had swung open the door.
"Broly NO!" Paragus shouted. "Get away from her son!"
Broly didn't listen and began to laugh an insane laugh. Tania continued to sob as her older brother's strength began to increase drastically. The doctors cowarded away while Paragus stared horrified by his eldest child's strength. Soon, Broly had became a super saiyan. The saiyan still held onto the newborn giving an evil grin as he continued to enlarge his ki.
Unable to watch anymore, Paragus took out his mind-controlling device in order to stop Broly from his psychotic scheme. "Broly, calm down my son." He says as the device began to take effect on Broly.
Eventually, the eldest saiyan child had relaxed and calmly set the still crying newborn down before walking out the room. Paragus dropped on one knee as he re-lived the events that had taken place.
"It's not safe to leave Tania here while Broly is acting this way..." He thought. "I have to send her away from here or else Broly will kill her."
"Doctor!"
"Yes Paragus?"
"I need you to send my daughter to another planet. One that is very far away from her; I don't care what planet it is, just do it!"
The one doctor that was still in the room was resistant, but after a nasty glare Paragus had given him, he hurried and picked up his daughter and took her to a space pod, setting in the coordinates for a random planet. Tania was already beginning to fall asleep as the pod lifted off the ground and flew into outer space.
"I promise that i'll come to find you one day my daughter."
Present:
Tania's P.O.V
"Gohan..." I whined. "I really want something to eat. You're all better now, we can go and head back home so we can have lunch."
Gohan began to scratch the back of his head with a sheepish grin displaying on his face.
"Alright." He agreed.
I squealed as I took a hold of his hand and ran down the stairs, brushing past Roshi and opening the door. "Wait, hold on Tania!" Gohan demanded while slightly blushing. "What is it?"
Gohan grinned playfully then lifted me up in his arms, holding me. I began to feel my face burn up as he began to fly up in the air.
"Gohan?" I asked curious of his sudden action. Seeing as I was more than capable of flying by myself. "You know I can fly too, right?"
His grin grew wider."Yeah, I know that. It's just that it's been awhile since I held you in my arms like this. You're really warm." He answered as a pink tinge made its way to his cheeks. I smiled as I snuggled into his hold comfortably.
"Thank you for doing this Gohan.."
