"Well Mariana, you at least tried." Stef laughed watching the video Brandon had taken of all her children trying to sing. Lena smiled as Mariana pretended to pout. Callie had musical talent so it was no surprise to anyone in the family that she could sing also. Taylor was on the floor laughing at Mariana who couldn't sing but had got up on stage anyways.

Jesus had grown bored with the video and when it finally ended spoke up, "So what are we going to do today? As fun as the coffee shop is... Lexi can't hang out today so I'm voting no on that one."

Brandon shrugged, "Yeah, Tayla isn't around today either so I was just going to stay home." Most of the other kids agreed that their dates were busy or families decided that they needed some "family time". Stef and Lena looked at each other and appeared to be having a silent conversation between themselves. Callie pointed to her moms, "Uh, guys. They're making some plan...should we run now while we can?" She joked to the rest of her siblings.

Jesus and Brandon both jumped out of their seats trying to run up to their rooms before their moms caught them but Stef told them to sit back down. "Maybe we should do a day of family time? I mean it seems like you guys are always with your dates and your Mama and I are always working so today would be a good day." The kids all looked around and stopped while looking at Brandon, nominating him as the official spokesperson of the day. "But, uh, mom the six of us are always hanging out together, or we at least are in the same town most of the time..."

Stef rolled her eyes, she could be just as stubborn as her children if she needed to be, "It's already been decided. Sorry B."

Jude smiled at Stef and Lena, he was excited for another family day, he would take as many family days as he could to make up for those he had missed in the first few years of his life. Callie saw her younger brother's excitement and couldn't help but smile and agree to it. Jesus and Brandon continued to try and protest but lost the fight when Mariana and Taylor voted to go out with their moms.

Jesus sighed heavily, "Well what are we going to do? If we're all going out."

Stef whispered something to Lena. Lena smiled while she nodded at her wife then laughed at her children's mock terror filled facial expressions. The six kids watched her expectantly waiting for an explanation of what they were going to do. Lena finally laughed and caved telling her children, "Let's go mini golfing, we use to do it the first weekend of every summer vacation when the twins and Brandon were younger, we should start the tradition again."

Mariana looked at her mom quizzically, "Do you remember why we stopped doing that?" She asked exasperated, when neither her moms or siblings answered she sighed and continued on, "We stopped because it would be moms against kids and losers bought ice cream, and moms always won."

Callie laughed at the idea, it would only make sense that Stef and Lena would win if it was kids against parents because Mariana and Brandon both weren't the best at sports or anything sport like and Stef had a very competitive side.

Lena laughed at Mariana, "Well maybe we should make new teams then, since our family has grown."

Jude nodded in excitement, "Mini golfing sounds fun. I've never gone though, so I'm probably not very good. But I bet I could beat Mariana." Mariana rolled her eyes at her younger brother but looked to her moms, "I'm in, as long as we get new teams." Everyone else agreed and Callie smiled at Jude who thanked her on the way out to the cars. Callie looked surprised, "For what Jude?"

Jude shrugged, "For protecting me for all those years. And for letting our moms protect me know."

Callie just nodded stunned at her little brothers statement. She still hadn't really adjusted to the fact that they had been adopted and still referred to Stef and Lena as Stef and Lena and only refereed to Jude as her sibling regularly everyone else was just everyone else. As Callie climbed into the back of the car Lena looked at her worried, "Is everything alright Callie?" Callie just shook her head and smiled, "Yeah fine, thanks Lena."

Once the Foster family had started on their way Stef turned down the music and looked in her rearview mirror at her kids. "So what do you want these teams to be?" The kids were silent while looking around trying to figure it out. Jesus took a minute to think and then realized the perfect idea, "Why don't we let Callie choose, she's always letting the rest of us kids decide things. We should give her a chance." Stef and Lena nodded in agreement of the idea.

Callie looked around the car, "Um, why don't we just split up the pairs of people in similar age groups?" Everyone just nodded, allowing Callie to plan everything. Callie nodded liking her idea, "Yeah so we split up the pairs of us with similar ages. So Lena could be team one and Stef team two. Then Brandon and I, so Brandon on Lena's team, and I'll be on Stef's team. The Jesus and Mariana, Jesus with Brandon and Lena, Mariana with Stef and I. Leaving Jude and Taylor. So the teams will be Stef, Mariana, Taylor and I against Lena, Brandon, Jesus and Jude." The teams were finalized as they pulled into the parking lot.

After the first seven holes, Lena and her team were winning by seven points, it turned out that everyone on that team, except for Brandon could play pretty well and that Stef and Callie were the only two from their team that could play. Lena shot a hole in one as her ball jumped over the small "river" that and into the hole. Callie rolled her eyes and sighed, "Oh come on! I thought that Mom was the sporty one!" She said motioned towards Stef. "And that Mama was more the book smart one!" She said it so innocently that Stef and Lena knew she had said it without thinking. They both froze for a fraction of a second before looking towards Callie and smiling. By the end of the game Callie's team ended up winning because Lena started throwing the game causing Jesus to pout.

"Come on guys, let's go get some lunch." Stef said as she was about to return her club. Callie stopped them, "Wait." Everyone turned to face her. Callie looked like she was struggling with what she was trying to say so everyone gave her a minute. "This was fun. Can we do another round? I really don't want this day to end, I mean... I love you all so much, moms and all of you insane siblings. So maybe we could just make this a bit longer?" She looked as if she was going to cry, something the family was not use to. Jesus was the first one to recover from his shock and he dropped his club. He walked over to Callie and hugged her causing the moms to laugh and the other children to join the group hug, "We love you Callie!" They said in unison before starting a second game of mini golf. "I love you guys." She whispered.
