Chapter 25: Tania vs Vegeta

"I feel so groggy." I stated to Dende and Trunks as they continued to stare at me in relief.

I slowly got off the bed I was on and stretched. "So are you guys gonna tell me what's going or what?"

Trunks began to explain to me about what had taken place earlier. I didn't have a clue about what he was informing me.

"And so, Gohan and Piccolo are training in the hyperbolic time chamber to become strong enough to defeat Cell." He finished.

"Umm..." I trail off confused about that person he said I supposedly knew. "I'm sorry, but... who's Gohan?"

F. TRUNK'S P.O.V

Dende and I looked at one another in shock. Did I just hear that right? Did she really just ask us that?

"Tania, I don't think now is the time to be joking around. You know Gohan..." I say with a surprised reaction. Tania continued to give us a blank expression.

"It's not a joke." She answers with a positive attitude. "I really don't know who he is... Oh well, maybe you just got him mixed up with another guy or something."

Tania then began to walk out the room to where Vegeta was and ascended into the air despite the warnings we gave her. Father stopped his training and scolded Tania for interrupting him.

"Fight me!" Tania demanded with an odd look in her eyes.

"Fight you?" Vegeta asks. "Don't make me laugh. A little human girl like yourself shouldn't think of asking the prince of all saiyans a question like that."

With that said, father reverted back to his normal state and descended to the tiled ground, walking towards the building.

"Of course." Tania chuckled. "The prince is too much of a coward to face even a child."

Father stopped dead in his tracks, irritation evident in his eyes.

Tania then turned towards Vegeta's direction. "Just so you know. I wasn't asking you to fight me. I was ordering you."

"Tania!" I yell after witnessing the full blooded saiyan returning his attention back to the young girl. "I don't think its wise to be picking a fight with father!"

Tania didn't say anything as she kept her eye on Vegeta. I don't know what father was thinking, but it looked as if he knew something I didn't. He then entered into the sky, arms crossed until he was face-to-face with the teen.

"Father isn't really going to fight her, is he?"

"I don't know myself, Trunks." Dende confessed. "Let's just hope they don't."

Suddenly, Tania's eyes began to flicker from dark brown to red. A moment later, she released a powerful energy wave towards the palace with the time chamber. Thankfully, Vegeta managed to deflect it into space.

"I thought so..." Father trails off. "The sacred water only managed to help you for a few hours."

"What?!" Dende and I say in unison.

"How is that even possible?" Dende questioned himself. "It should've been more effective than that."

"Seems like your wrong." Father says as him and Tania got into their stances.

A harsh white aura surrounded the two, their bodies seeming to fade from place, meeting at the midpoint with a loud "CRASH!", their fists pushing against eachother. Growling, Vegeta kicked Tania in the stomach, throwing his body away from hers, firing multiple blasts of golden ki from his palms, each deflected by Tania's own blasts.

Tania chased after father's steps, pounding a fist into his torso, sending his body back to the tiled ground.

Father quickly made a recovery and shot up to his feet, continuing to fire a barrage of his energy at Tania, burning her skin on impact, embracing the smoke that escaped her wounds.

Tania laughed.

"What are you laughing at you little brat!" The saiyan growled in annoyance.

"That blast felt like nothing."

"Well you see, i'm only warming up." Father mumbled.

An aura of gold instantly surrounded the prince's body, a torrent of his own energy began to engulf him, his black hair spiking towards the sky, shifting its color to match the aura.

He glared at Tania with intense emerald eyes. After a moment of odd silence, Tania leaned her body in, pulling her arms to her side, a sharp, blue light forming in her conjoined palms.

Don't tell me she's really gonna... No, I won't let her use this much energy! She'll destroy the time chamber and Gohan and Piccolo will be trapped in there forever.

"Father!" I shout. "You have to stop her or else she'll trap Gohan and Piccolo in the chamber for eternity."

"Be quiet boy!" The prince yells. "I don't take any orders from you!"

"Kah, Me, Ha, Me..." Tania begins to chant, her voice echoing around the area.

"Vegeta!" Dende cries out. "Your gonna have to do something quick! She's not playing around."

Father grunted. "Fine! I'll do something!"

Vegeta then threw his arms out to his sides, his palms left open. There was a sparkle in his eyes. "You want to fight all out? Fine then!" On command, orbs of glimmering light formed in the Saiyan's hands, gradually becoming larger as he held them.

Vegeta slammed his palms together in front of him, forcing the orbs to come together. "Final Flash!" Vegeta yelled, the orb launching from his hands as a stream of golden energy, flying at Tania like a bullet.

"HAH!" Tania yelled as well, throwing her arms forward, unleashing her own wave of ocean-blue energy, the both of their attacks meeting each other, forcing against each other. The warriors grunted and cried as more and more of their power was put into their attack.

"YOU WON'T WIN!" Father yelled, the torrent of energy growing stronger and stronger, his blast pushing farther and farther.

"We'll see about that!" Tania screamed, forming her own shield of golden veil around her body, her long, black hair forming up at a spike, shifting to the same golden color.

"Impossible!" Father, Dende and I yell in complete shock as we witnessed Tania turning into a legend. She's not even a saiyan!

"Brat! How did you learn to turn into a super saiyan!" Vegeta yells in frustration and confusion.

I saw as there was now lightning forming around the two opponents. Tania's eyes were still a bloody dark red, but her appearance had changed into that of a super saiyan, maybe even stronger than that.

Both of the warriors met a gaze with their emerald eyes, volleying their blasts between each other.

Finally, there was a break at the meeting point. Their blasts did nothing but end in a stalemate, exploding in a sudden rush of energy, forming an immense cloud of dust around the battlefield.

Suddenly, there was a loud explosion coming from behind us and we turned around to see that the impact of the blast had destroyed the palace.

"OH NO!" Dende cried. "GOHAN! PICCOLO!"

As the smoke began to clear, both of the fighters remained standing. Tania, the top of her uniform torn to shreds, exposing the tank top underneath it, stood covered in dust. Vegeta, his clothes torn in a lesser manner, did the same, with blood trickling from the corners of his lips.

"They're trapped in there." I announce as I observed the broken down place.

"G-" Tania mutters a little to herself as her eyes once again began to flicker. Only this time it was going to an emerald color like Vegeta's. "Go...han"

I looked at the girl as it seemed as though she was fighting to get herself back to normal. After a few seconds her hair had turned back to her usual color as well as her eyes. The only difference was, her eyes were full of tears.

"GOHAN!" She cried as she fell to the ground and ran over to the scattered pieces of the palace. "Where are you Gohan?! Where are you?!"

I rested my hand on Tania as she began to weep on the broken walls.

"It's all my fault!" She croaked, tears staining her face. "I won't be able to see him ever again! I'm so pathetic!"

"It wasn't your fault Tania." I reassured her. "You were being controlled by someone."

The sadden girl continued to cry until Vegeta came over to her and picked her up by the arm.

"Stop crying! You're a saiyan! Saiyans don't show their tears to anyone!"

"What are you talking about?!" Tania asks. "I'm not even a saiyan! I'm a human being!"

"Look behind you." Father suggested.

All at once, everyone turned to see that Tania had unknowingly grown a tail.

GOHAN'S P.O.V

Only three months left to go and I can finally give Cell the beating of his lifetime.

I continued to jab punches and kicks to the empty air. The only thing that was on my mind was how Tania was doing.

I reverted back to normal and walked over to the fridge and opened it, only to find that all the food was gone. My stomach began to growl as I rubbed it.

I ate all the food already...

Closing the fridge, I looked to my right to see that there was a whole lot of meat and fruits with vegetables on the table. Piccolo threw me an apple and told me to eat as much as I liked.

"Thanks Pi-Piccolo!" I say as I chewed the apple.

Piccolo gave me a look of disgust, but then closed his eyes. "Sure."

After two hours of eating, I leaned back on my chair with my arms crossed behind my head. "Hey um, Piccolo?"

"What?"

"Do you think there doing fine on the other side?"

"I can't answer that. We aren't able to sense the others from this dimension." The namekian answered truthfully.

I nodded. "Ya, you're right..."

I began to stare into the ceiling thinking about the one girl I wanted to see so badly again. It's almost been a year since i've talked to her. I miss Tania...

"Wow, it's so pretty outside today! Gohan look!"

Her soft voice, echoed in my head as I remembered all the things we've done together. When I first saw her unconscious out in the woods, I had only wanted to make sure that she would be alright so that she could go home to her family.

The next thing I knew, we were living under the same roof and I think i'm beginning to fall in love with her.

I don't understand what it is that I like about her so much. I love the way we talk to one another, the way she smiles, her laugh, her eyes, her hair...

"Help me Gohan!"

I jolted out of my seat after hearing her voice say that to me.

"What's wrong Gohan?" Piccolo asks as he got off of his seat calmly.

I sat back down and took a deep breath. "It was nothing. I think I was hallucinating for a moment."

"If that's so, I think it's time that you've get some rest. I don't need you hallucinating during a training session." Piccolo suggested as he began to fly into the white, empty arena.

I did as he suggested and pulled the warm covers on me. I closed my eyes and began to sleep.

GOHAN'S NIGHTMARE

"So what will you choose to do Gohan?" Cell asked with an evil smirk as he held onto my father by his hair. "Will you just stand there and let me kill your daddy? Or will you fight me?!"

I couldn't move. My lips couldn't move. I was paralyzed with fear.

Cell's lightning aura was amazing. His strength was indescribable. What was I suppose to do? I began trembling as the perfect android placed his hand over my dad's chest, who was completely defenseless.

"Say goodbye!" Cell shouts as a strong energy beam shot through dad's chest, then thrown him beside me.

"NOOO!" I screamed as tears came racing down my cheeks. "FATHER!"

"S-Son..." The half dead saiyan croaked as he clinged onto his chest. "Take care of y-your m-mother for me w-will y-yo-you?"

I fell to my knees telling dad to hold on. "G-Goodbye my s-son..."

"Dad, WAIT! DON"T LEAVE ME!"

He just smiled and closed his eyes peacefully. I felt his life force fall completely flat. I stared at his lifeless body still hoping that everything was just a dream.

"Aww." Cell commented. "Touching moment indeed. Now Gohan, show me your true power!"

The wind brushed through the destroyed piece of land we were on. Craters were formed all over the place and all my friends were lying dead on the ground. Tien, Yamcha, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, and no, my only father.

"You'll pay for this Cell!" I vowed as I slowly got back to my feet. My heart broken and damaged. "YOU"LL PAY!"

I hunched over, my aura flaring wildly. I began screaming in effort, my aura changing from flames to a blazing torrent, surrounding me in a full circle. The entire planet began shaking from the incredible power boost I was receiving. The blue lightning that had accompanied me increased in intensity tenfold.

I straightened up as my transformation progressed. My hair lengthened, getting down to my knees. My eyebrows glowed, then vanished, the ridges where they had been growing outwards slightly. My muscles bulged again, now being much larger than they were when I was in my normal form. My aura let out a violent explosion of light, nearly blinding Cell.

Finally, I was done. I straightened up to my full height. My eyes had narrowed slightly when my eyebrows had vanished. "Sorry that took so long," I said, My voice lacking a great deal of pitch and emotion, "This transformation is still rather new. This is what we call a Super Saiyan Three."

"Amazing..." The android replies as he stared in wonder and shock. "How did you do that?!"

I didn't say anything and began walking towards the machine. Just before I could launch an attack on him, a female had walked in front of him in a sleeping manner.

With Cell using her as a shield, I couldn't get anywhere near him.

"One step closer, and i'll have this useless girl die." Cell growled. The girl began to open her eyes, only to reveal that she had already been dead for sometime.

Her clothes were bloody and her face was badly beaten. Her hair was covering most of her face so I couldn't really see who she really was.

"You think you can fool me Cell?" I ask. "That woman is already dead!"

The vicious android only laughed and moved away the hair that was masking her face.

"No..." I mumble as I recognized who she was. Cell began to laugh harder as he held onto her tight by her long hair.

"Tania... WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!"

I felt an explosion in my chest as I looked at her lifeless eyes. There was no sparkle in them anymore, just blood dripping from every part of her body.

I-I CAN"T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

GOHAN"S P.O.V

"Gohan! Gohan! Wake up!" I hear a voice say.

I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was clenching onto my sheets and that Piccolo had been trying to wake me up.

"You got me worried." Piccolo admits. "You were having a nightmare."

I wiped away the sweat that was on my face and got off of bed and headed towards the arena with Piccolo to help get my mind off of things.

As soon as we were twenty feet away from the door, it had suddenly exploded, sending Piccolo and I a few hundred feet from it. There was a silence as I cautiously picked myself up, my leg and shoulder bleeding from impact.

"Piccolo!" I shout. "Piccolo! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine Gohan, how about you?"

"I'm a little banged up, but i'll manage."

After the long time trying to get back on my two feet, I looked off to the distance see that the connection to the real world had been destroyed. "Piccolo, the door, it's gone!"

The namekian had watched as the door had blown completely off. "This can't be, what on earth is happening out there?!"

Recovering from the explosion Piccolo had stared in disbelief. "Gohan!"

"Yeah..."

"It looks like you and I are gonna be trapped in this dimension for eternity..."
