The rest of the week passed quickly thanks to Amy being busy with her study, the group met on Friday for the weekly Chinese food and vintage video game night, everybody crashed at the house in preparation for going to clear the apartments the next day and on Saturday morning Amy woke everybody up with tea and toast and they took the short drive to Los Robles, the building was now surrounded in scaffold and several lorries were parked up ready for any rubbish to be taken away, they were greeted by Sarah and Gary again and were given hard hats
"This is just for protection, we have provided boxes for everything that can be saved and we will remove all the large furniture which is ruined" said Sarah leading the little group in and up to 4A and 4B, the smoke damage was still evident on the stairway leading up to the destroyed apartments and the smell was still very strong
"Has anybody been in since we left last week? Asked Sheldon
"Only the security to check the building, we don't know if there have been more collapses I'm afraid" replied Sarah
Sheldon unlocked his door, it was in the same state as before with plaster everywhere and there was a distinct smell of damp, the sofa and the armchairs were ripped and still soaking wet, so they were the first things to go, followed by what was left of the kitchen bench which had been sliced in half by bits of masonry falling on it, the scene was the same in Penny's apartment and the group worked quickly to remove everything they could, the desks where Leonard and Sheldon worked on were both able to be saved and were loaded into the cars where Raj and Howard drove them back to Amy's and returned to collect more boxes, by 4pm everything was clear in both the apartments and Sheldon was left standing in the shell of his apartment, Amy came back into find him standing where his spot would have been
"Are you ok? Asked Amy giving him a cuddle
"Yes, I will be" replied Sheldon
"I know your spot meant a lot to you"
"As you know I am not a fan of change, some things are easier to adjust to than others" replied Sheldon
"I know, oh you almost forgot your sword" said Amy as they turned around to walk out
"Oh yes" replied Sheldon though he brought Amy into his arms and kissed her first and they shared another cuddle before Raj and Howard came into the apartment
"You guys done? Asked Howard
"Almost, just the sword to go" replied Sheldon indicating the sword on the wall
Howard used his drill to take the pins out of the wall and they all left the block together and handed the keys over to Sarah who left after wishing them all luck
When everybody arrived back at Amy's, they started to unload the cars when they were approached by Amy's elderly next door neighbour
"Hi Mrs Anderson, how are you? Greeted Amy
"Good thank you Amy, my husband and I have a problem which we would like to ask you about"
"Sure, come in and we can talk about it, these are all my friends and my boyfriend by the way" replied Amy introducing everybody
"Nice to meet you all" smiled Mrs Anderson
Once they were inside and joined by Mr Anderson, they came to the point of the visit
"In two weeks we are going to New Zealand for six weeks to visit our son and his wife, they have just had another baby and we want to spend time with them, we usually go around the same time and have a professional house sitter but we are unable to get one at short notice, would you be able to watch the house for us? Asked Mr Anderson
"Better than that, Leonard and I are staying here due to the fire at the apartment block round the corner, we can stay in the house and that way somebody is nearly always there" said Penny jumping in before Amy could answer
"Oh could you, that would be a relief, we know Amy and trust her so we know we can trust her friends, we have two dogs that will need looking after as well" replied Mrs Anderson
"Yes that's fine, I grew up on a farm so I am used to animals" replied Penny
"Leonard, Penny you know you are welcome to stay as long as you like" said Amy
"We know but this is a perfect opportunity, you and Sheldon need your time alone and we are only next door after all, is your house styled like this one? Asked Penny to Mrs Anderson
"Its not quite as grand I'm afraid, we have a wall between the lounge and the kitchen but we do have a pool and a Jacuzzi" replied Mrs Anderson
"Do you have a basement as well? Asked Leonard
"Yes every house on this road has one for the laundry room and whatever else they want to have, my husband is a train enthusiast and has set up one room with a model train kit" replied Mrs Anderson
"Can I come and look? Asked Sheldon immediately
"Of course, do you like trains? Asked Mr Anderson
"I love trains" replied Sheldon enthusiastically
"Ok, I can see you are busy tonight, come over tomorrow and I can show you and also Leonard and Penny you can meet our dogs" replied Mr Anderson
"What breed are they? Asked Penny
"Jack and Judy are both Border Terriers, both are very friendly" replied Mr Anderson
"We look forward to seeing them tomorrow then" said Penny
The Andersons left shortly afterwards and Amy rejoined everybody in the lounge where they were discussing what to have to eat
"That was nice of you and Leonard to house sit" commented Amy
"Well it works for both of us, you were meant to be using this month to live with Sheldon, but you can't have much privacy when you have us two living here as well, it's a good opportunity and we can spend time looking for somewhere to live in once they return" replied Penny
"Well if you haven't found somewhere you can always stay here afterwards" replied Amy
"We know and thank you" replied Penny smiling at the generosity of her friend
"Alright let's order this takeaway shall we, we can leave everything in the middle room for tonight and we can just relax tonight" said Amy going to the kitchen to collect the pile of takeaway menus
The next morning, Amy was the first to wake up but as she went to get out of bed, she was pulled back down by Sheldon who was apparently eager for a cuddle, they shared a lingering kiss with hands all over each other
"I want to wake up with you every day" murmured Sheldon into Amy's chest as she fondled his erection
"I think that will be nice" replied Amy kissing his head
"I know it will be when I have you in my life" replied Sheldon smiling at her
"Let me make breakfast before you all go next door" suggested Amy
"I'm already having it" replied Sheldon smirking at her before taking her erect nipples in his mouth and sucking on them and pinning her to the bed with one leg
"Oh Sheldon" moaned Amy in delight and arching her back as he pleasured her
"I heard our houseguests talking about going to the movies this afternoon, we will have an empty house to do more" suggested Sheldon
"I would like that, come lets get up" replied Amy giving him another kiss and then throwing him his dressing gown
Over breakfast, Leonard and Penny mentioned they were both taking Monday off to go house hunting, they had decided to buy rather than rent and had already booked three viewings nearby, one of which was on N Raymond Avenue and the house backed on to Amy's
On Sunday Amy walked round to the Andersons house with Leonard Penny and Sheldon and left them all to it, she had a little work to do and it was a few hours before everybody arrived back, Sheldon was looking very happy
"He said I can join him whenever I like to play trains with him" said Sheldon happily
"That's nice of him, what about when he's away?
"He said I could play with it then as well and if I find extra pieces to add them to it" replied Sheldon who was still buzzing and gave Amy a kiss and not caring that Leonard and Penny were watching
"Everything arranged for when they go away? Asked Amy
"Oh yes, the dogs are lovely and we also took a chance on the house behind you and had a quick look at the outside, it's a bungalow like this one so I guess its three bedrooms" replied Penny
"Let's hope you can get it then" replied Amy smiling at them
Two weeks later, Penny and Leonard took up residence of the house next door, they had been for several house viewings and the house that backed onto Amy's was deemed the most liked, the couple made an asking price offer which was accepted, the owners were still looking themselves but said they were close to finalising something which suited Leonard and Penny for now, it was also the same week that the girls were due to go to New York for wedding dress shopping on the Friday, Amy and Sheldon had moved date night to Thursday and Amy had cooked for the two of them, she had made his favourite meal of spaghetti with little pieces of hot dogs cut up and strawberry quick and they were now enjoying a cuddle on the sofa
"Thank you for dinner Amy, that was splendid" said Sheldon as Amy moved onto sitting on his lap
"You are welcome of course, I have dessert as well"
"That can wait, I wish I was coming with you to New York"
"I know but it's a girls weekend, sorry" replied Amy peppering his face with kisses
"Maybe we could have our own weekend away soon" suggested Sheldon
"I would like that, also there is something else we need to discuss"
"The living together trial is up at the weekend I know" commented Sheldon
"That's true and whilst we spent half of it with Leonard and Penny here, it's something that I am glad we have done, the last two weeks that we have had alone has been good practice" replied Amy giving him a long look which Sheldon couldn't interpret
"So where does that leave us?
"I want you to move in permanently" replied Amy grinning widely at him
"Really? Asked Sheldon looking surprised
"Oh yes, you have convinced me and more to the point I want to live with you, I will still be going on my work trips though, that wont be changing" replied Amy
"I understand that and I will see if I can get a month off next summer to come with you to Saudi"
"That will be good and its been fun the last few weeks hasn't it? Asked Amy
"It will be more than just fun living together, just you see" replied Sheldon as he started to tickle Amy's waist, they rolled onto the floor where Sheldon continued tickling Amy and straddled her as he did so
"I love you Sheldon and I want to live with you forever" said Amy when they were just staring at each other
"Same here and I promise there will be no more freak outs"
"Then I guess we need to tell our friends and family and another thing" started Amy before being interrupted by Sheldon
"I think we are ready for coitus but you are going away tomorrow and I would rather wait" suggested Sheldon
"Oh I agree and I know you don't like champagne that much but I bought some to celebrate this occasion, go to the bedroom and take your clothes off" said Amy
"Oh boy" replied Sheldon quickly climbing off her and scrambling to the bedroom, he was joined by Amy less than a minute later who undressed just as quickly
"I was thinking we could share the bottle" commented Amy
Amy starting by pushing Sheldon down onto the bed and then straddling him, she tipped some of the champagne over Sheldon's chest and started to lick it off, wiggling against his erection as she did so, Sheldon grabbed her waist for support and bucked up against her in delight as she licked his nipples and then she surprised him by pouring the champagne onto his erection
"Oh boy" groaned Sheldon for the second time in as many minutes
"I think we are going to be in for a lot of fun tonight, don't you" said Amy leaning down and kissing him then moving down to his hard throbbing cock and licking up all the champagne dribbling down onto it
"I think so" replied Sheldon
"I do believe it's your turn to do me now" said Amy reaching for the champagne bottle and passing it to him
"So many places to explore" commented Sheldon staring at the wonder of Amy's body above him
