Chapter 36: A Hero's Return And Tania's True Feelings Revealed
Eternal grabbed onto my hair and slowly lifted my head up so that I would continue watching the battle between Cell and Gohan. I felt so helpless or maybe even hopeless. My friend had ran out of strength and was getting beaten around like a rag doll by a evil monster.
"If only you would've stayed at the world where you were sent to, this would've never happened!" Eternal tells me with a smirk. She made me look her in the eyes. "But you just had to be an investigator and go check things out for yourself."
I didn't speak. However, I knew what she was talking about. That was basically the only memory I had still. Me... Being safe in that other Earth.. The Earth where there was no one who was strong enough to lift up airplanes or boats. The Earth where there might've been crimes and murders, but not to the point where everyone on the planet would be killed in a matter of seconds. It was the Earth where my family lived. Shininchi, Melanie, Sinako. It was the very same Earth that I grew up in peacefully...
Eternal then faced me towards the lake. Gohan had been sent into it and when he resurfaced, Cell had pushed the young saiyan's head into the water with his foot. I watched in horror as Cell just stood there with his foot on Gohan's head. There was nothing I could do in the condition I was in though. Even if I did manage to free myself from Eternal she would only capture me again. I closed my eyes tightly afraid to watch my best friend die...
"SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!"
I heard an explosion and opened my eyes to see that Cell had let Gohan go and...
"BURNING ATTACK!" A familiar voice shouts as a very big ki blast came flying at Eternal and me. The female saiyan had released me and moved out of the way. I fell flat on the ground with my face in the dirt as the attack almost hitted me. Just then I felt someone grab my arm and flew me away before the blast made contact with the ground.
I slowly looked up to see that Vegeta was the one who had grabbed me.
"Vegeta?" The prince then looked at me and smirked. He was in his super saiyan state and looked as though he was ready to fight to the death. I then saw Trunks firing another one of his attacks. It created a huge explosion and there was smoke. He took that chance to come over to where Vegeta and I was.
"You alright Tania?" Trunk's asks as soon as Vegeta setted me down a few miles away from the battlefield.
"I'm alright now thanks to you two!" I reply with a weak smile. The two men just looked at me then turned their attention back to the battlefield.
"Please don't tell me you're actually gonna go out there and fight?" I asked worried for their safety.
"We have to." Vegeta says with a serious tone. He then leaped into the air and flew full speed to where Eternal was. Trunks stood there then looked back at me.
"Why do you have Gohan's sword?"
At first I had no idea what he was talking about until I saw it buckled to my back. I completely forgot about it!
"He told me to hold onto it cause he was gonna battle Cell. I guess he didn't want it to get in the way... I don't know really..." I answer.
Trunks nodded then told me to keep holding onto it just in case I needed to protect myself. He then hopped into the air. "Stay here where it's safe!"
"Wait!" I pleaded. The lavender hair man stopped and looked back at me.
"Gohan's okay, isn't he?"
Trunks smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I breathed a sigh of relief and grinned. "Thank you guys so much for saving Gohan and I. We both seriously owe you guys one."
"No problem. That's what friends are for right?"
I nodded still smiling despite the pain I was in. "Definitely."
Trunks then shot through the air with intensity to the battlefield. I need to recover my strength so that i'll be able to help. It'll most likely be in vain though since I can't transform for some reason. Eternal probably putted a curse on me or something.
GOHAN'S P.O.V
I brought my head out of the water, gasping for air. After a minute, I saw Krillin with his hand out for me to grab onto. I did exactly that and managed to stand.
"Thanks Krillin." I say before looking up into the sky to see Piccolo smiling down at me. "Piccolo..."
"Nice to see you still alive." He says while descending to the ground. I smiled also and ran up to him. "Ya."
"What do we have here." Cell speaks after our reunion. "Piccolo and Krillin..."
Piccolo frowned and got into a fighting stance. "Your life ends today Cell! You won't be taking anymore lives."
The android just laughed. "And what exactly do you plan on doing to me?!" He then got into a stance. "You won't be able to lay a finger on me."
The android then started things off by disappearing and reappearing behind Krillin and punched him softly. Krillin went flying over to a cliff in a blink of an eye. Piccolo grunted and threw a large energy blast at Cell while he was distracted. The smoke cleared only to reveal that Cell was uninjured. Not one scratch!
The perfect android faced his opponent and appeared right in front of the namekian with extreme speed. Piccolo was shocked. Cell smirked then threw an energy blast at Piccolo.
"Piccolo!" I screamed as my friend went flying to a plateau. I clenched my fists in anger. When I turned back, Cell went missing. Where did he go?
There was a high pitched scream. Oh no, that sounded like Tania!
Looking around, I couldn't see her. She just... disappeared. The only people I could see was Trunks, Vegeta and Eternal still fighting. The only option I had left was the Instant Transmission. I searched for Tania's ki and finally found it. Performing the technique, I found myself on a different part of the island and saw that Cell was using his tail to choke Tania who was already gravely injured.
"Let her go!" I yell. Cell only smirked and tighten the grip he had around her neck. Tania tried unwrapping his tail, but with no luck. At this point my anger was beginning to rise. I took a step forward.
"Take another step Gohan and this worthless girl dies!" He shouted in a serious tone. My heart stopped.
"D-Don't listen to him Gohan." Tania mutters. "Believe me. I know he's lying, he won't do it. He just told me that he-"
Tania was cut off by Cell shutting her mouth with his hand. "Shut up you little nuisance! You talk too much!"
Tania started squirming around, trying to free herself. I stood there paralyzed, unsure of what to do. Tania's in danger and i'm too powerless to save her from Cell! If only dad were still alive, he'd know what to do. Dad, I wish you were here with me right now...
"What on earth are you going to do now Gohan?" Cell asks me as he lifted Tania a little higher off the ground. "Will you just stand there and allow me to kill yet another person you love the most or will you allow me to kill you instead?"
"You mean... If I let you take away my life, you'll let Tania live?"
"Gohan, no! You don't have to do that!" Tania muttered after Cell let his hand rest for a moment. Cell laughed evily. "Better yet, if you get down on your knees and admit that you've been defeated and that i'm far more stronger than you'll ever be, then maybe i'll let the girl live the rest of her pathetic life."
Without hesitation, I slowly got down on my knees. A look of satisfaction was beginning to display on the androids face. I placed my face to the ground bowing. When Tania tried to speak again Cell once more covered her mouth shut.
"Cell..." I begin. "I admit, i've been defeated by your amazing strength. There is no one, not even me, who is more stronger and superior to you. Your the best there is in the entire solar system."
I kept my head bowed, until I would get a reaction out of him. I saw as there were a pair of feet landing in front of me. I looked up slightly to see Eternal glaring down at me. I then sensed that Vegeta and Trunks's energy was almost gone. They were unconscious like Piccolo and Krillin.
"You really are a fool," Cell laughed. "You thought you could beat me! HA! You really do live in the clouds Gohan, you can never beat me! Not even in your sleep!"
I finally looked back up to see that Tania looked sad. Cell lessen his hold around her neck then shot an energy blast at me. I was pushed back a little coughing out blood. At that moment, the clouds began to turn grey and the sky turned black. Rain poured immensely from it and lightning and thunderstorms soon came after.
My body was aching all over. I couldn't move an inch, I was completely defenseless.
So.. This is it. I'm dying as a failure. I'm sorry everyone. I wasn't strong enough to defeat Cell again and to protect the earth. Dad, I knew I was going to see you again. I just never thought it would be so soon.
"TIME TO DIE!" Cell shouts as he aimed his death beam towards my heart. However, before he could fire it, Tania had managed to throw his hand off her mouth then bit his tail very hard. The android setted her free and rubbed onto his tail. There was deep marks that was evident in his tail. His guard was lowered greatly and Tania took advantage of it by using the last of her strength to use a kamehameha wave at him.
"SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!"
"FINAL FLASH!"
"KAMEHAMEHAAAAA!"
"FINISH BUSTER!"
Suddenly four other ki blasts was thrown from far off and each one of them managed to hit Cell. His body began to disintegrate very slowly. I turned back to see my friends trying their hardest at keeping their ground. Each one of them was using their last bit of strength to bring down Cell. I looked at Eternal and noticed that she really didn't care about her dying ally.
"GOHAN!" I hear Tania, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo and Trunks yell. "DO IT!"
It took me most of my strength to just get on one knee. I crossed my hands on top of my forehead and shouted,
"MASENKO HAAAAA!" I then pushed my crossed hands out in front of me and fired the blast at Cell.
"DAMN YOU ALL!" He screamed as the combined attacks shredded him into nothing. When the intense blasts almost finished the rest of him he shouted. "YOU"LL PAY! YOU"LL PAYYYY!"
It seemed like forever until I felt that Cell's life force had completely faded. He was dead for sure this time. Finally...
In a blink of an eye, Eternal kicked me in the chin which sent me flying into the air. She followed then flipped and kicked me hard into the stomach. I went crashing back into the ground. On impact, a huge crater had formed and I was stuck. The goddess smiled then went on to attack the others.
She started off by kneeing Piccolo in the stomach, who then spat out blood mixed with saliva then chopped him on the back into the ground.
"P-Piccolo..."
Next was Vegeta. She appeared in front of him. He tried to punch her, but she swiftly dodged it and threw a energy wave at him that forced him to drop out of his state of transformation and into a plateau.
"Father!" Trunks yells. He was badly injured, but flew over to the woman with extreme speed. He punched her multiple times in the stomach then kicked her in the face. Trunks was really angry and kept on attacking her nonstop. When he finally ran out of stamina, Eternal just laughed and jabbed him on the head causing the future warrior to fall unconscious to the ground returning him to his basic form.
As for Krillin, he went over to Tania once he saw that Eternal was distracted with the others. She stared at the two of them.
"Krillin...Tania... Get out of there..." I try to yell in vain. I was too injured to shout.
TANIA'S P.O.V
I fell to the ground once Cell was defeated. I was barely conscious and my body felt like it was slowly dying. I used up all my strength in that blast. Screams began to rummage through my ears. It was the screams of Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta and Trunks. Eternal was hurting my friends...
I heard footsteps coming up to me. I couldn't move an inch. The person then wrapped me in their arms.
"Tania! Tania! Open your eyes!" The voice said. I did what I was told and saw that Krillin was looking down at me with worried eyes.
"Good. You're still alive." He smiled. "I got to get you out of here."
"No. I wanna stay here."
"Sorry Tania, but we need you to stay alive." Krillin responded as he lifted me on his back.
"No! Let me go!" I begged. "I wanna stay here with Gohan!"
He didn't listen. The rain was making it difficult for me to have a good hold on his shoulders. Everyone was drenched in rain from head to toe. A yellow lightning bolt striked right in front of us. Krillin waited until it went away then floated into the air. Before we could fly away though, I saw as a huge green dragon came into view.
"W-WHAT"S THAT?!"
"Shenron?!" Krillin announces. "Did Dende summon him?"
"And where do you two think you're going?" Eternal questioned us after suddenly appearing in front of our eyes. She whipped her tail from side to side and smiled flirtatiously at Krillin causing him to daydream.
"Krillin!" I yell irritated. "Snap out of it!"
The bald man snapped back into reality. "Don't try anything you're going to regret!"
The woman laughed maniacally then used her speed to slap Krillin across his face then did a flip and use a left hook. Him and I was beginning to be sent to a cliff. Before we reached into it though, Eternal had grabbed onto my arm while Krillin continued his way into the rock, eventually crashing into it very hard.
I screamed as Eternal continued to assault me with powerful kicks and punches. The sword that was strapped around my back had unbuckled and went somewhere else. I spat out blood as she finally thrown me into the ground near where everyone else was. They were all unconscious and had their eyes closed. I tried to stand but fell back to the ground. My legs were broken.
"Now to finish you off!" She decided, aiming her two hands at me. I dug my nails through the dirt to just slightly look at Gohan. He was soaking wet and was bleeding heavily. His eyes were closed and his chest was moving up and down very fast. Images was beginning to pop into my head.
"My name is Gohan. Nice to meet you." Gohan introduces himself when we first met.
"It's alright Tania, open your eyes!" Gohan encouraged me as I was too scared to be high in the sky on the nimbus cloud. "Tania, I promise, i'm right by your side! Please open your eyes!"
"Climb on my back and hold on as tight as you can" Demanded the half saiyan after he rescued me from a ferocious hungry dinosaur.
"Your hurt! I can't stand to see you all beaten up like that. It's killing me inside, Gohan!" I confess to Gohan as he layed on a bed injured from his fight with Cell.
"I wanted to protect you, that's all." Gohan replies shortly before our very first kiss.
"SERENE PUNISHMENT!" Eternal screams out as the pinkish purple spiraled blast made its way over to me. Tears glided down my face as I began to recover the memories Eternal had taken away from me. I wish someone strong enough would help us defeat Eternal...
A random ki blast suddenly had pushed the Eternal's attack into a mountain. Just then a man appeared in front of me. He was tall and had black spiky hair that was pointed in almost every direction. The man wore a orange gi over a dark blue undershirt with a blue sash. His boots were a dark blue color that was outfitted with yellow/beige laces.
"W-Who are you?" I ask the newly arrived stranger. He looked back at me and smiled. His face looks so similar to Gohan and Goten's... WAIT A MINUTE! Can it be? Is that...
"Hiya!" He greets me. "My name is Goku."
"Goku?" I repeat, he nodded. "It's true then, your Gohan's father!"
"Yes I am." He admits. He bent down and ruffled my hair. "Listen Tania, thanks for helping the people of this planet. Thanks for helping protect my friends and family. That was very brave for you to come and help my son out."
I also smiled. "Yeah, of course, but how do you know my name sir?"
"I've been watching the Earth from otherworld. Your wish had brought me back to life. I've decided to get wished back to life so that I may help you fight this dangerous battle and to see my family and friends again. I missed them."
I nodded in understanding.
"And who are you?!" Eternal asks furious after noticing that Goku saved my life.
"My name is Goku!" He yells with pride. "I'm the one who's gonna put an end to you hurting my friends and the people of this planet!"
A golden aura with blue electric soon surrounded his body as his hair turned the same color and spiked up with a loose bang hanging on his forehead. His eyes had turn from black to emerald.
"Tania listen!" He ordered. "Go get that sword and bring it to Gohan now! I'll try my best to hold her off as long as I can!"
I blinked in confusion. "Why?"
"JUST DO IT!" He shouted angry, easily scaring me to death.
I began to crawl my way over to the sword that was near Gohan. The half saiyan was still breathing hard. As I did so, Goku disappeared and reappeared in front of Eternal and the two clashed fists and knees.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sound of their battle was making the ground shake and the waters worse than it already was. I dugged my nails deep into the mud as it rained and once again, visions began to refill my brain with past memories.
"I know i'm not your real mother or anything, but i've been thinking lately and..." ChiChi trails off before looking up in a daydreaming state. "Well, i've been thinking about enrolling you and Gohan to Orange Star High school once the Earth is in peace again."
"You don't have to call me lady, my name is Tania. Remember that for me, okay?" I asked Goten hoping that he would agree to it.
"Tania! That's not fair! Why are you the only one that gets to fight all the bad guys?!" Goten whined making a whole scene while we visited Satan City along with Trunks, Oolong and Puar.
I was only about twenty feet away from the sword that Gohan had released hours ago. The fight between Goku and Eternal was intensifying. Goku had transformed into a super saiyan three just like Gohan did with Cell.
"KAMEHAMEHA!" Goku shouted as the powerful blue energy wave shot towards Eternal. She deflected it and shot a ki blast of her own. Goku also deflected it and the two traded energy blasts. I stared at awe at how well Gohan's father was holding Eternal off. Once they were done, they flew away from eachother. Goku glared at the woman.
'WHY ARE YOU JUST WATCHING US?! GET THE SWORD AND BRING IT TO GOHAN NOW!' I hear Goku yell at me through telepathy. Immediately, I turned back my attention to the sword and finally after a minute or two, I reached for it and grabbed it.
Now all I had to do was bring it to Gohan who was a quarter of a mile away. My arms were getting tired and I was quickly losing energy. I just wanted this to be all over so that I could return to Gohan's house, eat and get some sleep for goodness sake!
I noticed as the others began to stir and open their eyes to see that Goku was now alive.
"Kakarot! But how?!" Vegeta asks everyone as he regained consciousness. Piccolo, Trunks and Krillin also saw him. "GOKU?!"
I continued to crawl my way over to the person still unable to move at all. "Gohan, i'm coming. Just stay where you are!"
He lowered his eyes towards me. "Tania..."
The others then noticed me and slowly made their way over to me. Piccolo was the first one to reach me and gently picked me up in his arms.
"Thank you Piccolo. Please... Take me over to Gohan." I begged.
The namekian nodded and flew me over to his longtime friend. Once he setted me down, I held onto Gohan's hand as I layed on my stomach since my legs were completely useless. "Gohan... Please try to stay conscious?"
His body felt like it was getting a little cold. Piccolo held the saiyan up so that he would be able to look up at his father, who was fighting to the death in order for everyone on this planet to be alive and well.
"F-Father?"
Goku was powering up. Amazingly, Gohan got himself out of the ground then stood. "FATHER!"
Piccolo and I stared at him in shock. How is he doing that?!
Seconds later, his body forced him to fall back onto a knee. He groaned as he felt the sudden pain. Eternal turned her attention toward us and frowned. "I thought you were dead!"
She extended her palm toward everyone on the ground. Before she could fire, Goku appeared in front of her and grabbed her wrist. "Your fight is with me, not them!" He reminds her in a deep voice before jabbing her on the cheek. The goddess flew back then managed to catch her fall. She raced towards Goku while shooting ki blasts. Goku managed to dodge them all. However, Eternal appeared behind him while he did so.
"Goku! Behind you!" Piccolo shouts.
Goku listened and saw that Eternal and saw that she had one last trick in her sleeve. "SERENE PUNISHMENT!"
The attack directly hit Goku. He letted out a groan as he was sent to a cliff. Eternal wasted no time in tracking him down. She punched him in the stomach causing him to spit out blood. He then countered with a knee to the stomach causing her to spit out blood out as well. Using the few seconds he had, the super saiyan three kicked the saiyan goddess into the sky.
Once she was far away from her opponent, she charged at Piccolo and blasted him to get to me and Gohan.
Goku then noticed that he was tricked and rested his two fingers on his forehead. When he appeared though, Eternal simply risen her fist up and Goku went right into it. Eternal then blasted him in the stomach. Goku formed a crater on the ground and became stuck.
"Now where was I?" She asks Gohan and I. She paralyzed Gohan using the tip of her finger to have him still. He was completely stuck in the position he was in. The only thing he could do was move his eyes around.
"Tania?" Eternal calls. "Let's start with killing you.. You're already half dead anyways."
"You leave her alone!" Trunks shouts from a distance. "FINISH BUSTER!"
The big energy blast hit Eternal while she had her guard down. She was beaten badly from Goku, and now the blast that Trunks delivered caused her arm to be completely useless. She held onto her broken arm.
"YOU BRAT!" She shouts angry at Vegeta's son. "SERENE PUNISHMENT!"
"Trunks!" I scream as the attack successfully managed to hit him. When the smoke cleared, it was revealed that Trunks was knocked unconscious. Smoke was coming out of his torn saiyan armor. I looked over to Gohan who was still paralyzed from Eternal's attack. His eyes looked as though it was completely outraged.
A golden aura then appeared. It was surrounding his body. I could tell that Gohan was trying to break the spell that Eternal had on him. I looked at him and whispered, "Go get her."
At that very moment, Gohan had broke through the spell. Eternal looked behind her in shock. "How did you..."
Her question was cut short as Gohan's fist connected to her face. She began to fly into the lightning filled sky, but before she could, he grabbed her leg and slammed her deep in the ground. It sounded like a bomb had went off as soon as she made contact with it. A few seconds went by until she finally flown out.
"How are you able to move?!" She asked surprised as blood dripped from her head. Gohan's aura was still flaring, but his hair was still the same. I didn't understand where that sudden outburst energy came from. He's not even a super saiyan yet he managed to attack Eternal and actually hurt her.
The female attempted a hook, but Gohan had caught it and kicked her in the gut. She doubled over, spat out saliva and held onto her stomach. Gohan was staring at her tail then yanked it off and thrown it somewhere else. She slowly turned her head to him and smirked. Her pink aura was beginning to look odd. I then noticed that my body was beginning to have a pink aura around me also. Gohan didn't seem to notice it and continued to stare at Eternal with slight confusion.
The woman then disappeared in a blink of an eye and reappeared in front of me. Once more, she yanked on my long hair and repeatedly punch me all over my body. Gohan then turned around and saw where she had went off to. His eyes widened when he witnessed Eternal kneeing me in the gut forcing me to spit out blood. I was completely defenseless! She then threw me..
"Have a nice time in the otherworld, Tania.." Eternal says her farewell to me as she prepared a powerful death beam. Gohan had used Instant Transmission.
"Die!" Eternal released the beam.
Time seemed to slow down for a few moments. I saw Gohan appear in front of me. He held onto me tightly to his side and allowed the beam to go right through him. My heart stopped as I saw the powerful beam shoot through his chest near his heart. His aura had disappeared and his eyes went white. As we both fell to the ground more memories with him had made itself known.
"You were unconscious, so I brought you here so that when you awakened, you'll be able to return to your home." I remember Gohan explaining to me after I mistakenly believed that he kidnapped me.
"Oh, that's right, you've never seen me in this state. Funny how you said that you don't care for anyone but youself and yet you're blushing just like how I remembered."Gohan tells me after I witnessed him turning super saiyan two.
"Oh well, i'll figure it out eventually. I'm just relieved and happy to see that you're still alive Tania. I really missed you."The saiyan admitted while blushing after asking me how I became so strong in a matter of weeks.
"The truth is, i'm not just a human. I'm also a saiyan."Gohan confesses to me after I interrogated him of his powers.
"I believe you can do this, Gohan." I encouraged my friend before he attempted to pull the mysterious sword out of its sheathe.
"It's alright, i'll be fine."Gohan promised me before allowing Cell to power up to his ultimate form.
"I love you." The half saiyan admits seconds before passionately kissing me before our fight a couple days back.
The two of us had finally fallen on the ground. Gohan was on top of me, still holding me in a embrace. "Go-Gohan?"
The severely wounded saiyan weakly turned his eyes.
His chest was pouring out blood. The blood was beginning to stain my hair, cheek, and body. I was horrified at what I was seeing with my own two eyes. The friends we both shared was too surprised to even speak a word. They were as shock as I was by what just happened.
"Gohan!" Goku cried out as he finally managed to climb out of the crater he was stuck in. He came running to his son's aid. Eternal watched the scene with extreme satisfaction. She even began to laugh.
"Gohan? Gohan?" I shaked my friend. His body just kept on bleeding and he didn't respond. "Gohan! Gohan, wake up! Wake up!"
My eyes began to fill with tears. Finally he stirred and opened his eyes slowly. "Tania..."
"What is it?"
"Are you a-alright?" He asks. The tears kept in my eyes escaped. I could feel his heart pounding in his chest. They were getting slower and slower with every passing second. "Gohan, why didn't you just let me get hit with it?"
He smiled. "Because I love you. I thought by now you would understand that I am being serious when I say that to you. I love you Tania. You really do mean a lot more to me than my own life. I want you to live..."
"Gohan!" I hear Goku shout. Eternal allowed him to get pass her, but before he could reach Gohan and I, a barrier suddenly formed around the two of us. Everyone else then suddenly disappeared and Gohan and I was in a white void filled with nothingness. I ignored the sudden transportation.
Gohan began to cough out blood and he was holding onto his chest in complete agony. "Tania, i'm not gonna make it."
My heart crushed into pieces immediately after. "Y-Yes you are! Your gonna live Gohan!"
He shook his head. "N-No, i'm not gonna live. Listen, the wound in my chest won't be able to heal... That blast was too much for my body."
"But I don't want you to die!" I cry after sensing that his life force was indeed fading away. "Gohan, I remember everything. How I got here, the day we met, our first kiss... Everything!"
"I'm so g-glad." He responded as he ran his finger through my hair. "Your absolutely gorgeous, inside and out, you know that right?"
My tears kept running from my eyes as I heard those precious words. "I don't want you to go Gohan... You were the first friend that I ever trusted. You taught me that not every guy is the same. You helped me make the friends I have now and I can't ever thank you enough."
He just kept on smiling as I continued on. "I always kept my distance from everyone because I was afraid of being hurt. I was so badly hurt to the point where I gave up on everything and vow to never fall in love with any man. However, after meeting you, I began to open up a little more. You loved and protected me the whole time. I can't hold back my feelings any longer..."
I took a deep breath then finally said what I should've admitted a long time ago. "Gohan... I love you."
Gohan's face turned red as he continued to smile at me. We looked at one another in the eyes and got lost in it. He began to lower his lips towards mine. I closed my eyes and allowed him to kiss me passionately.
I could feel as my body was beginning to be filled with love. I didn't want this end. I was kissing the one man I loved the most. He means so much to me. I don't want him to leave me all alone...
After about thirty seconds our lips parted. We suddenly was back to the battlefield. Gohan smiled at me for the last time.
"I love you Tania." Was his last words as his breathing finally ceased. His eyes closed and I felt his life force completely disappear.
"Gohan? No, please..." I cried as I tried to wake him up. "Gohan! Don't leave me here by myself! GOHAN!"
There was no response. The tears that was already flowing down my face intensified. My heart snapped in two as I stared at his lifeless body. I wrapped my arms around him and sobbed heavily on him. "G-Gohan! N-No... I love you, please... Please don't go .. Come back... I'll do anything.."
I could feel all of the Z fighters sadness. Each one of their heartaches had transferred into me. My vision became blurry and I felt like I was in a dream. This just couldn't be happening to me. First my parents then Gohan...
Krillin, Trunks, Piccolo and Goku stood in their places watching me as I cry and cry even more. Krillin cover his face with his arm. Trunks also did the same while Piccolo and Goku looked down at the ground with complete devastation written on their faces. Vegeta also looked a bit sadden, but not as sadden as the others and myself.
Suddenly, the sword I had carried with me had began to draw itself out of its sheathe and into the air. It glowed a bright red as it floated. The next thing I knew, my body began to glow a hot pink. I felt as my body began to heal miraculously. However my strength had left me.
Within a few seconds, everyone had been glowing into different colors. Goku's was red, Piccolo's was green, Vegeta's was sky blue, Trunks's was yellow and Krillin's was orange.
"What is this?!" Eternal asks in frustration as she witnessed each one of us heal.
"My injuries are going away." Trunks announces as his body began to heal.
"Mine too." Krillin says.
"This is strange." Goku commented while healing. "I can feel my power leaving me into that sword. It's like its being absorbed or something."
Goku then dropped out of his super saiyan three state.
"I see what you mean Kakarot..." Vegeta replies. "My strength is leaving me also."
"There may be a purpose to why all of this is happening." Piccolo spoke.
Once our energy was drained from us, the strange lights had disappeared and the sword then pointed its sharp end at Gohan. It released a dark blue light. Seconds after it lighted on the deceased saiyan, a being had stepped out of Gohan's body.
He turned to look at me and grinned. "Thanks to you and all your friends, I have the strength to beat Eternal once and for all and save this world." The man then gently took Gohan off of me and offered me his hand. I took it.
I examined his face and widened my eyes. He's the EXACT guy from my strange dream!
"Thornkin..." I say to myself. He gave me a thumbs up and turned to look at Eternal straight in the eyes who looked as though she had just seen a ghost or something. The sword that was floating in the sky then slowly descended and swiftly placed itself in Thornkin's grip.
"Long time no see, Eternal."
