Chapter 44: Gohan's Animal Friends
"Gohan!" I scream very angry as I chased after my boyfriend. "Care to explain why you got me grounded?!"
"T-Tania, it was a accident! I promise!"
Gohan jumped onto a boulder. I did the same and reached out to catch him, but just when I thought I had caught him, he floated into the air. I lost my balance and fell onto my back.
"Ouch." Gohan scratched his head. "That must've hurt."
I gritted my teeth then sprung right back up onto my feet.
"If you think you're going to get away from me, you're sadly mistaken." I bark.
Gohan took a step back. He was frightened. "Yikes!"
It has been two months since Gohan and I began officialy dating. When the others found out about our relationship, they congratulated us. Krillin and Goku teased us after hearing the news. The whole thing was completely awkward as they did that.
Piccolo only smirked after we told him. Goten became hyper and hugged me, saying that he was very glad to have a big sister. I didn't bother explaining the whole 'sister' thing to a three-year-old.
Krillin has been acting pretty depressed recently. I tried asking him what was wrong but he just smiles and says, "Nothing. Don't concern yourself with me, have fun kiddo." And then he goes off somewhere to be alone.
"Tania, if you just stand there like a statue, you're never gonna catch up to me!" Gohan yells as he began jumping from one place to another very quickly.
"Gohan... Stop being so annoying!"
I levitated off the grass and flew close to Gohan. Since he thought that I was gonna stick to the ground, he didn't notice me behind him. Without warning, Gohan began sliding on his feet as if he was trying to stop. With a smirk, I dropped my feet to the ground, sprinted and stretched my arms out in order to catch Gohan.
"You're mine!" I declared, jumping towards him.
"Chobi? You poor thing, what are you doing out here injured like this?" Gohan asks something or someone, squatting just in time for me to completely miss my target. I flew over his head, over the tall cliff that I had forgotten existed, and descended quickly down to the river where Goku and him fishes.
I resurfaced and spitted out the water that had gotten in my mouth. My entire body was completely drenched from head to toe. I sighed. This just isn't my day today.
"Take a look at this baby, Krillin!" I overhear Goku's voice. "She's a huge one."
I glanced over to my left and saw Goku pulling out a big blue fish from out the water. He was shirtless but wore a pair of black swimming shorts. When I turned to my right, there was Krillin, relaxing on the grass and looking as if he was lost in thought. Like I noticed for quite sometime before, he had a sad facial expression. When Krillin noticed me staring at him, he quickly replaced his sad frown with a reassuring smile.
"Hey kido, when did you get here?" The bald man asks.
Goku jumped out of the river and went over to Krillin, still holding onto his victorious prize.
"Aren't you suppose to be grounded Tania?" Gohan's father adds in.
"Yeah, but before I serve my time, I need an explanation from your son, who is all the way up on that cliff." I answered, rising out the water.
"You should cut Gohan some slack. I'm sure he didn't mean to distract you while you were cooking." Krillin tries to save his friend from a lecture.
"No way! Thanks to him, the kitchen almost burned down in flames." I crossed my arms.
"I'm not picking sides or anything, but don't you think that maybe if you didn't decide to talk to Gohan while cooking, you would've been able to focus more?" Goku wondered aloud.
I sighed softly and ascended over the cliff I fell from, leaving Goku and Krillin by themselves.
"Great. I'm all wet." Wisheater speaks after he awoke from his nap. "I take a five minute nap and already you're falling into rivers."
I landed on the grass, twisting my gi and hair to get the water out of them. "Well excuse me for my clumsiness."
"There you go little guy... Good as new." Gohan speaks to something as he dabbed an ointment to the creatures wing.
I walked closer and came to a conclusion that the creature he was aiding was a baby bird dinosaur. The poor dinosaur was trembling while looking as if it was going to cry at any second.
"Chobi, don't be afraid of her." Gohan attempts to calm the dinosaur down after it had moved closer to him. "Her name is Tania. She's a great friend of mine; She won't bite."
The one known as Chobi stopped shaking. Gohan lifted the dinosaur up and floated.
"I'll be right back Tania."
"Where are you going with that dinosaur?" I ask, looking up at the half-saiyan.
"I'm taking Chobi back to his home. His parents will have a fit if they don't see this little guy at the nest."
"Well, if you're going, can I go too?"
"Sure." Gohan accepted. "The nest is a couple miles east from here."
Gohan began gliding through the sky with a smile. I did the same, staring at my boyfriend as he comforted Chobi. Within a minute, we arrived at a large nest with a large cracked egg inside it.
As Gohan safely set his dinosaur friend on the nest, a loud noise came from behind me. Instantly, I flipped around and realized that a giant blue dinosaur with wings was swooping down at me like an eagle.
"No, Toh Toh! Don't attack Tania! She's a friend of mine!" Gohan shouts at the huge dinosaur. When Toh Toh ignored Gohan and kept flying straight at me, Gohan appeared in front of me with his back facing me. He had his arms spread out on each side. When Toh Toh noticed the demi-saiyan, it slowed down dramatically until it came to a holt.
"Don't you recognize me Toh Toh? It's me, Gohan."
Toh Toh flapped its wings and nodded.
"If that winged dinosaur came any closer, I would've been forced to take him out." Wisheater spoke.
Gohan sighed softly. Wisheater noticed and got offended. "How about I take out you first and then the bird. Besides, i'm gonna be the one to protect Tania!"
At that moment, I shot the most coldest, deadly, death glare at the blade. "You know what Wisheater?"
"What?" Wisheater responds. I began unbuckling the sheath that was around my back.
"W-Why are you removing me?"
With a powerful swing, I threw Wisheater way back down to the river where Goku and Krilliin were fishing at. "WHY DON"T YOU TAKE A SWIM IN THE RIVER AND LEARN SOME MANNERS!"
On impact, Wisheater plunged deep into the water causing a large splash. The water had almost reached us from all the way there. I walked over to Gohan and pecked him on the lips. "Hey um, i'm really sorry for what Wisheater said to you. That sword is just jealous of you I think."
Gohan rubbed his head. "You don't have to apologize."
Toh Toh walked over to Chobi and rubbed the babies back with it's head. Toh Toh began licking the spot where Gohan had rubbed the ointment on. Soon another brown dinosaur landed into the nest, snuggling with Chobi. I raised an eyebrow.
"She's Chobi's mother and Toh Toh's wife." Gohan whispers in my ear. I smiled and watched the family.
"Look how happy they are." I say.
Gohan glanced at me then turned his attention back to the dinosaurs. "Icarus..."
Icarus? That name sounds familiar...
Gohan's eyes were focused on Chobi. There was a sad look in them. Almost as if he was missing something or someone. Before I could ask him what was wrong, Goten had appeared in front of us. He was riding on the nimbus cloud with a huge smile.
"Gohan!" He yells entusiastically. "I was looking all over for you! Daddy told me that you were here. He sure was right."
"Hey squirt, why was you searching for me?"
"It's been forever since I got to play with you." Goten answers. The little boy then stared at me with an annoyed expression. "Tania was hogging you all to herself..."
I blushed. "Oh, i'm sorry about that Goten. You can have Gohan all to yourself today."
Gohan ruffled Goten's wild hair. "You heard her... Lets play."
Goten's eyes lighted up. "Oh boy!"
The toddler hopped off the nimbus cloud and into Gohan's arms. He rubbed his cheek onto his brother's. "You're the bestest big brother ever! Can we play monsters?"
"Sure Goten. We can play whatever you want."
"Aw, how sweet." I comment. I then looked at nimbus. "Goten, do you mind if I ride on nimbus for a bit?"
The little boy shook his head. "I don't mind, go ahead. Come on Gohan, lets go."
Within seconds the two brothers disappeared somewhere else. I went over to nimbus and touched it. "I hope my heart is still pure enough."
I took a deep breath and took away any negative feelings, desires or thoughts that my heart held onto. I slowy exhaled and slowly climbed onto the cloud. A sigh of relief escaped my lips as I realized my heart was still pure. Phew, thank goodness.
"Alright nimbus, you can fly."
Slowly, the nimbus left Mt. Paozu. I decided to lay down and just look down at the cities we passed by. There was no particular direction I was going.
"When ChiChi finds out I sneaked out of the house, i'm going to get a frying pan whacked upside my head..." I tell nimbus.
The sun was shining down on the earth. It was so quiet and peaceful. The breeze was so wonderful. I swung my tail around in amusement.
"It's really pretty outside today." I smile. "But i'm getting bored. I'm use to having someone to talk to. I could've had bring Wisheater, but that sword has a serious attitude problem."
A few minutes passed by and I felt a tiny ache growing inside my heart.
"I already miss Gohan..." I sighed softly, placing my hand over my heart. "Why does love have to make me feel like this?"
I stood up after witnessing a couple of thugs from the city below stealing an old woman's purse. Without hesitation, I hopped off the nimbus. Ugh, criminals again...
"Sorry Nimbus, the elderly lady needs my help!" I wave to my cloud friend.
As I continued making my descent, a yellow huge jet-flier thing came soaring through the sky. I looked inside the vehicle and saw a young teenage girl with black long hair that was put into pig tails. She had blue eyes, light skin and was wearing a baggy long white shirt with black thigh-length tights and golden boots.
My eyes widened after realizing who she was. Videl?!
Luckily for me, she didn't notice me falling from the sky. That girl was something else last time I saw her. So obsessed with finding out about the peoples identity in the Cell Games video... Wait, that reminds me! Wasn't I suppose to give that tape to Gohan for his birthday?!
I finally landed on the streets and brought my palm up to my face. Oh no, I forgot... I'm such a horrible friend. But I know I only forgot because Cell and Eternal erased my memory around that time. After that, the next few weeks was just spent on trying to defeat them and regaining Gohan back to his old self.
"Move aside little brat!" A man with black clothing and a ski mask over his face demanded rudely as he pushed me to the ground.
I hopped back up and scowled. "You'll pay for that!"
Before I could even lift a toe, Videl had jumped out of her flying vehicle. I gasped in shock as she gracefully kicked the thief to the ground.
She glared coldly at the man who had stood back up with blood trickling down the corners of his mouth. It was clear the guy was furious.
"I'm getting sick of you saving this city little girl!" The man dashed forward. "Take this!"
With ease, Videl had ducked under the man's punch. She grabbed his arm then kicked him hard in the stomach. After that, she threw the thief over her head and slammed him fiercely on the concrete. The thief became unconscious.
Videl dusted the invisible dirt off her hands with a smirk.
"So you thought you could get away with taking an old lady's purse, huh?" The girl then cracked her hands. "Unfortunately for you, I happened to be going home when I spotted you bringing injustice to this city pal."
The man grunted. The police soon came a few seconds later. They handcuffed the man and put him in the police car. Before Videl could spot me, I began to quietly walk away.
"Hey you!"
I stopped dead in my tracks. Uh oh.
"Say, haven't I seen you somewhere before?" She asks in suspicions as she observed me.
"Um... uh..." I stutter. Gohan and ChiChi told me not to cause big commotions in the cities... I was planning on knocking the criminal down on the first hit. Videl took care of that for me but now she recognized me before I could high tail it out of here. Not good.
"What in the world is this?!" Videl was curious and yanked on my tail.
A sharp pain shot through me. "Ow! Don't touch that!"
I slapped her hand off my tail and began running. Videl began chasing me. "Wait! Hold on! You look very familiar! What's your name?!"
I turned a corner and flew up in the sky before she caught up. I rubbed my tail softly. Man, that hurt!
"Here!" ChiChi dropped a load of textbooks of various subjects onto my desk. "You might as well study since you're grounded."
"Fine..." I sighed heavily.
"Don't give me that tone young lady." ChiChi scolded. "In about a week or two, you and my son are going to start your first day at Orange star High School as tenth graders."
"What?! Tenth graders?! I'm only fourteen and Gohan is fifteen. Don't you mean we're going to start as ninth graders?" I ask in shock.
"Actually Tania, i'm basically sixteen now." Gohan walked into the room. "I spent another year in the hyperbolic time chamber."
"Hyperbolic time chamber?" I repeat. "What are you talking about?"
"It was back when Eternal had erased your memory. If you spend a day inside the time chamber, a day will only pass here and a year will have pass in there." Gohan explained.
"Its no wonder why you look so different and taller. You must be atleast 5'11 now." I stared at ChiChi's son.
Gohan blushed. "You noticed?"
"I always did." I blush too. The two of us then began to stare at eachother with googly eyes.
ChiChi coughed. Gohan and I snapped back into reality and looked at the adult in my room.
"Anyways Tania, the reason why you'll begin high school as a sophomore is because your test scores are far above that of a freshman's." ChiChi said.
"It is?!"
Gohan's mother nodded.
"But I always got an F on my math tests and on some of my other subjects back when I..." I paused and lowered my eyes sadly. "Back when I was in my world..."
ChiChi blinked. "In your world? What's that all about?"
"Hey mom, I remember Goten talking about how he needed help with one of the assignments you gave him." Gohan began leading ChiChi out of the room.
"But Gohan..." ChiChi tries to stop her son. "What about-"
"What was that Goten? Did you say you need mom?" Gohan pretends to talk to his little brother. "Mom is on her way to your room kiddo."
After pushing his mother out of my room gently, he carefully shuted the door and leaned his back on it.
"Tania, tell me what's wrong." Gohan walked over and sat on the bed next to my desk.
"It's not important..."
"You're not fooling me. I know something has been bothering you ever since mother first mentioned registering us into high school." Gohan replied.
I noticed the worry he had in his eyes and turned away from them.
"I told you... It isn't important."
"Well it is to me." Gohan confessed. "You're my girlfriend, I gotta make sure you're okay."
I kept silent. Gohan layed his back down on my bed, using his arms to support the back of his head.
"I remember you talking about how you came here... It was on the day we first met. Do you remember?" Gohan looked at me.
"Of course. How can I possibly forget meeting someone as weird and strange as you?" I respond with a small smile.
Gohan began laughing.
I lowered my head onto the desk and watched him laugh. Everytime he laughs or even smiles, my heart begins racing. Why is he so different?
"Anyways, besides that, you never spoke a word about your life at that world you said that you came from."
"So?"
"So, tell me what your life was like. I want to know. I bet you had a better life than I did."
"True. Your life was far more harsh than mine was but still... Life for me was a everyday struggle to get through at times also." I got out of my desk and sat next to Gohan.
"The reason why I have been acting so bratty is because I just despise the thought of even going to school again." I admitted with slight anger.
"But why? Bulma told me that she loved high school." Gohan informed me.
"That's because Bulma was most likely the most popular, beautiful girl there!" I yell at Gohan.
Gohan was a bit surprised.
"Oh my goodness, i'm really sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you." I apologized.
"It's fine." Gohan understood. My boyfriend then sat up and looked at me. "Did something happen to you?"
I looked down at my lap and clenched onto the pillow that was on it. "I was always being bullied!"
"Bullied?"
"Yes."
"But why?"
"I don't know Gohan... Everytime I would even walk through the school doors, there was always someone there who would call me really ugly and at times fat and stupid." I clenched onto my pillow harder.
"Tania, that's ridiculous. You're not even close to fat, mother just said that your test scores are far above average for someone your age, and most of all you're not ugly." Gohan tries to reassure me.
"Maybe you just have horrible taste then."
Gohan kissed my temple. "Don't say that... Even if I did have bad taste, I just know that you're not one of the bad choices I made. In fact, you're the best."
"Or maybe my black magic got you to fall in love with me..."
"Black magic?" Gohan repeated. "What?!"
"That's what everyone said I always did!" I scream upset. "Every single time I got someone to like me even just as a friend, they would its black magic, its black magic."
I let go of the pillow and rubbed my arm. "Some kids would call me a monster, that I looked like an ape or something."
I then looked at my tail and sighed. "How ironic how it turns out that I am an ape and monster literally."
"Don't forget me." Gohan laughed. "I actually turned into a great ape a few times before when I was a kid."
My eyes widened. "What are you talking about? Oh no, Gohan please don't tell me that turning into a great ape forever is my fate?!"
Gohan stiffened. "No, no. That's not what I meant."
I buried my face into my hands and cried. "It's true isn't it?! I'm gonna become a nasty, hairy, big, fat ape, huh?"
"Tania..." Gohan tries to calm me down. "You're not going to be a great ape for the rest of your life."
I kept my face buried in my hands. "Don't lie to me! It really is true."
"Tania, i'm not lying to you! Just listen to me!" Gohan demanded with annoyance. I brought my face out of my hands a looked at him surprised. He never yelled at me like that before...
Gohan frowned. "You're not going to be an ape for eternity. Listen, saiyans have this ability to turn into a giant ape if they do a certain thing."
"What do they do?"
Gohan scratched his head, not really sure what to say to me. "Uh, how about we change the subject?"
"No, I wanna know." I leaned foward.
Gohan stared at my tail. "Sorry Tania. Hey, just make sure you go to sleep early from now on."
I raised an eyebrow. "I have, remember? Well, I mean, ChiChi always makes sure i'm in bed at around 8:00. She makes me go to bed even earlier when there is going to be a full moon out."
"Mom must know how important it is to get Tania into bed earlier now that she has a tail..." I hear Gohan say under his breath.
I cocked my head to the left. "Gohan, don't you find it strange how after I got my tail, i'm not allowed to look outside when it's a full moon anymore?"
Gohan snapped out of his thoughts.
"Err yeah, how strange." He chuckled awkwardly.
I then dropped the subject and got more serious. "Gohan, I really hope starting high school won't tear us apart."
Gohan was confused. "School won't tear us apart."
I continued looking at Gohan before turning my eyes back down at my lap with a sad frown.
Gohan is really handsome. Once the girls see him, they'll do whatever to have him, I just know it. If they're prettier than me, I won't stand a chance.
"Goha-"
"Tania, Goten, Gohan!" I hear Goku yell our names from downstairs, cutting me off. "Dinner is ready!"
"Oh boy!" Gohan was pratically drooling. "Food!"
He stood up and ran towards the door. He then stopped before reaching the doorknob and looked at me. "Aren't you coming?"
I stood up also and shook my head. "No. I'm not very hungry right now. You can have my portion of the food if you would like."
Gohan was surprised. "You really mean that?"
"Yeah."
"After dinner, we can talk some more."
"That's fine by me." I smile warmly.
Gohan approached and kissed me softly before going down to eat. I sat down on the bed again with a deep blush.
"Kissing him never gets old." I say to myself. My heart was thudding again. "I love him so much."
Smoothing my bed, I rested my body down on it and stared at the ceiling.
I'm so afraid to lose Gohan to some other girl... I shouldn't worry though right? We didn't even start our first day yet. Besides, Gohan loves me. Our bond is really strong, no other girl can break that.
"Oh no, what am I doing?!" I stood up and went over to my desk, sat down, and flipped open my history book. "I need to study and get my homework done before ChiChi comes back in here. She's really scary when she punishes me for slacking..."
Birds were chirping and a bright light was shining on my face. My eyes were heavy, but I managed to open them.
I feel warm...
I then noticed a blanket on top of me. Where did this come from?
I turned my head a little to see Gohan sitting on my bed just staring at me. I screamed and fell off of my chair.
"Tania!" Gohan ran to me. "Are you alright?"
Gohan helped me sit up.
"I'm fine." I answer while rubbing my aching head. "Why are you in here? You pratically gave me a heart attack."
"Oops, i'm really sorry." Gohan apologized. He smiled warmly and wrapped the blanket that had fallen along with me back around me. "I said I was going to come back in here after dinner so we can talk some more. However, you had fallen asleep before I could finish eating."
I noticed that Gohan's eyes were red and baggy. He was clearly tired.
"Gohan... Don't tell me you waited for me to wake up just so we can talk...?
Gohan nodded. "I had to wait. The conversation we were having sounded like it was getting serious. You're very important to me. If something is bothering you then you can talk about it to me. I'll listen, even if you think its ridiculous."
"G-Gohan..." I blushed. "Th-Thank you."
"Of course, I love you." Gohan kept his innocent smile. He began to lean foward. My heart began thudding like always. Just when I thought he was going to kiss me, he collapsed on top me.
"G-Gohan, you're c-c-crushing me." I struggled to breathe.
My boyfriend was lying on top of me passed out from exhaustion. I managed to push the sleeping young man off me. After doing that, I lifted him onto my back.
"Why do you always outdo yourself?" I sighed as I made my way to his room.
"Tania! Tania!" Goten excitedly yells after seeing me on the hall.
"Shhh, Goten." I hushed the toddler. "Your big bro is sleeping. You don't want to wake him up, do you?"
Goten shook his head. "No. Quiet. I gotta be super quiet so Gohan doesn't wake up."
"Good boy." I praise Gohan's little brother.
Once in Gohan's room, I layed him onto his bed and pulled the covers over his body. I ran my fingers and kissed his forehead. "Sweet dreams Gohan. I love you."
The young man stiffened but then smiled. I smiled also and quietly slipped out of his room, closing the door gently behind me.
"Tania, while Gohan is sleeping, do you wanna play until mommy is finished making breakfast?" Goten adorably asked.
I knelt down and ruffled his a grin. "Sure, why not?"
Grabbing my hand, Goten lead the two of us outside. Goku was training all by himself like always.
"Good morning. What's up, Tania?" Goku greeted after noticing me with his youngest son.
"Nothing much really. Goten and I was just about to play and also, good morning to you too sir." I bowed my head in respect.
Goku laughed. "You don't need to keep calling me that. Just call me Goku."
"Yes si-, I mean Goku." My face was reddening from embarrassment.
Goten ran up to his father and hugged him. "Daddy, is it alright if I train with you today?"
"I don't know about that son. Your mother will have a huge fit if she saw you learning how to fight at your age. Maybe when you are older."
Goten frowned. "Okay."
I felt bad for the kid, but what Goku said was true. His wife will definitely have a problem with her youngest son training at 3 1/2 years old.
"Tania, where is Gohan?" Goku wondered.
"Gohan? Oh, he's in his room sleeping. He's very tired."
Goku scratched his head. "Hmm, that's strange. It isn't like Gohan to be sleeping still at this time. I wonder what's up?"
"Well, er... uh... um... you see..." I was trying to find the right words to say to Gohan's father about why he was so exhausted. However, my face was reddening as I thought about what Gohan did.
"What's that?!" Goten blurted. He was pointing at what looked like an injured puppy that was running around the yard in a panic.
"Get back here you no good mutt!" An angry deep voice shouts before the person came out of the bushes.
There were two men that was chasing the dog with a shotgun and a type of machine gun. The man with the shotgun began to aim at the injured puppy.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Goku yelled at the two men.
"We're going to kill that puppy for destroying our home! It was trying to eat everything!" The man with the shotgun yelled. He was a tall muscular man with tattoos on his left arm. He wore a black muscle shirt and sweats. The man was barefooted and had dirty blonde hair that was up to his shoulders.
"Its only natural that we should get rid of this pest." The man with the machine gun adds in. Unlike the other guy, this man was pretty chubby and just a bit taller than me. He was wearing a hat and like the other guy, he was also in what looked like pajamas.
"That doesn't mean you have to hurt the puppy!" Goten cried.
"Be quiet kid, you don't know anything." The man with the machine gun responded. "Shizuke, shoot already!"
"I got this Akito." Said the one called Shizuke. He aimed his gun at the puppy who had lost its stamina. "Good riddance."
Using my speed, I stood in front of the dog and catched the bullet, shocking Shizuke and Akito.
"What the?! How did you do that?!" Akito questioned me with wide eyes.
I dropped the bullet I had caught. In fear, Akito began shooting multiple bullets straight at me. Just like with the shotgun, I managed to capture each and every one of the bullets.
I straightened my posture and crushed the bullets in my hands. Shizuke's and Akito's jaws looked as though it was about to drop down to the ground. I smirked and let the
crushed bullets fall out of my hands.
Shizuke became angry and charged at me. Before he could reach me, Goku had punched the air softly and a gush of wind pushed the guy over to the side.
Akito, witnessing what had just happened, took out a capsule and clicked it. Out came a very large Bazooka.
I sighed, taking a step forward. "Really?"
Akito aimed his bazooka.
"Tania! Behind you!" Goku yells. Listening, I did as I was told and saw three huge guys coming down from the sky. They tackled me while I was off guard.
"Where did you guys come from? Get off me!"
"Tania!" Goku began to come over to me, but was forced to stop when one of the men grabbed Goten around the neck, choking him.
"D-Daddy!" Goten kicked his legs, struggling to escape.
"You let my son go now!" Goku demanded.
Groaning, I pushed the three large men off me. When I looked behind me the puppy was missing. It was on the run again. Akito noticing, re-aimed his bazooka at the pup.
Goku was able to save Goten from one of the evil men but since he was distracted, he didn't notice Akito planning to murder the dog. In a flash he released the bomb. When I tried to come to the pup's rescue, one of the large men grabbed my foot and tripped.
Just then another person came leaping out of the bushes and landed right in front of the dog. A huge explosion noise was then heard.
"No!" I screamed. "The puppy!"
After the smoke cleared, a figure was still standing.
"Gohan!" I blurted. Why is he here? I just layed him on his bed fifteen minutes ago.
The half-saiyan had saved the puppy. It was clear to me that my boyfriend was angry.
"How could you?! You don't even have a license or any sort but yet you all tried murdering all the animals in the woods!" Gohan shouted.
Murder? What was he talking about?
"Hold on, what are you talking about Gohan?" Goku asked.
Akito smirked evilly. "So you were on our trails, eh kid?"
"You monsters! Those animals were my friends and you shot them!" Gohan clenched his fists.
Akito, Shizuke, along with the other men began laughing their heads off.
"Did you hear that Akito? He said the animals are his friends." Shizuke cracked himself up.
"I know, I heard. What a loser!" Akito continued laughing along.
Goku, realizing the injustice, walked foward. "You lied to us. This whole time it was you people hurting and killing some of the innocent creatures."
"If that's so, then they were the ones responsible for injuring one of Chobi's wings." I remembered.
"Throw away your guns now and leave the animals and place alone. I'll forgive you for your crime if you say you're sorry and walk out of here." Goku tells them.
"No way!" All the men say.
Jumping onto their feet, the three round men charged at Gohan and Goku. I got up and ran over to Goten and the puppy, picked them up and got out of the way.
When I turned back around, the three giant men were knocked out cold. Shizuke and Akito dropped their guns after Gohan took another step forward. In moments, the two men ran away apologizing for what they had done.
When the other three opened their eyes, they also ran off in fear.
"Yay! Gohan and daddy beat the bad guys!" Goten cheered.
Goku grinned a sheepish grin. Gohan, on the otherhand, went right to the puppy.
"Is the puppy alright?"
I nodded. "Yeah, it'll be fine. Only it's front left leg is injured."
"WHAT IS GOING ON OUT HERE?!" ChiChi screamed at the top of her lungs.
Marching up to her husband, ChiChi grabbed onto Goku's gi. "Goku, why is our yard a huge mess?!"
"It's hard to explain but uh..."
"ChiChi, several men were trying to kill this helpless puppy and the animals in the woods." I explain for Goku.
ChiChi gasped. "Oh no, that's awful."
The puppy whimpered. Gohan grew concerned.
"I'm going to take the puppy to Dende's and have him heal it." Gohan looked at me and smiled. "Wanna come?"
I nodded. "Of course."
After Dende finished healing the pup, It started running all over the place. Piccolo, who lived on Kami's lookout, stiffened.
Gohan knelt and whistled for the puppy. Immediately, the dog sprinted and jumped on my boyfriend, licking his cheeks as Gohan laughed.
"S-Stop it girl, that tickles."
I began laughing when the puppy kept Gohan down. No matter how hard the demi-saiyan tried to get up, the puppy would just attack him with kisses or something.
I took the puppy off of him. "Gohan, she likes you."
Gohan laughed. "She was saying thanks."
I setted the puppy down and petted her. Soon, the girl bit my finger after she saw Gohan kissing my cheek.
Piccolo, Dende, and I fell over.
"What?" Gohan was confused.
The puppy ran over to him and rested its paw on his legs, wagging its tail while having its tongue out, breathing all heavy and everything. When I tried to get near my boyfriend, she would either bark or growl.
"That's just great." I sighed.
"Why is she growling at Tania?" Gohan asks.
"Gohan, I think that puppy has a crush on you and is jealous of Tania." Dende answers.
Gohan blinked. "Oh..."
Piccolo snickered.
Gohan began walking around the lookout. Everywhere he went, the pup followed behind him. Piccolo was startled when the pup jumped on him.
She then saw his long cape and bit it. Piccolo attempted to shake her off but the puppy resisted.
"No girl, stop." Gohan ordered.
With a sad whimper, the puppy let go of Piccolo's cape. Gohan frowned.
"Come here girl." The demi-saiyan knelt and allowed the puppy to jump into his arms. The pup licked his cheeks again.
Once more Piccolo, Dende, and I fell over.
Gohan's such a softie... But that's one of the reasons why I love him so much... I can definitely tolerate it.
