Author Note: Here we go with the last chapter I hope you all like it especially the ending. Lol. Owen's POV
"Where's Maya I want my kids," replies the guy at the door.
"Excuse me!" I said coolly looking up and down at the guy stands at my door, well technically Maya's but you get the point.
"I said I want to see my kids! Are you dumb or something." This asshole said with a smirk causing me to hold back from punching him in the face.
"Who the fuck are you?!" I growl back.
The asshole was about to open his mouth to say something when I heard a sharp gasp from behind me.
"What the hell are you doing here? How did you find us?" Maya questioned stopping next to me as I wrap an arm around her in comfort and to stop myself from decking this asshole for hurting such a sweet girl.
"I have my ways and I want you and my kids now!" Bastard said angrily.
"They are not your kids, Owen make him leave please." Maya pled looking up at me.
I see she was trying not to cry in front of the dumbass who hurt her loads of times and not show she is weak. I pull her behind me and stare face to face at the other guy and started pushing him towards the door. "Get the hell out now and stay away from Maya and her kids!" I slam the door and lock it, Maya is crying and I call Luke for some backup. "Get over here now, the Bastard just showed up here!"
"Be there in 10." Was all I heard and silence at the other end.
Luckily through the yelling and door slamming the twins fell asleep and stayed asleep in there carriers as I continues to console there Mother after seeing the sperm donor show up out of nowhere demanding to see the babies. Luke knocked on the door and we escorted Maya to her car and both went with her to the appointment to be safe. The doctor took some measurements, weighed them and asked Maya some questions then we were done. We left the doctors and went to our place, I ordered some lunch and then Maya told us everything starting with how she met the bastard. We spent lunch talking about how to deal with this bastard and keep him away from Maya and the boys for good.
"How about going to a lawyer and getting his parental rights revoked?" Luke spoke up with the idea.
"His family has connections he'll just get off like he did before," Maya argues.
"They aren't well connected here and we got connections too," I tell her.
"What connections, and lawyers are really expensive I don't have that kind of money to pay for one?" Maya continued to try and argue just as one of the twins woke up crying for a changing since we fed them after the appointment and it's been an hour since then.
"We have lawyers that work out at the gym maybe we can work something out with one of them," I said scooping up Blake before Maya could stand and take him over to the couch and change his diaper.
Maya calmed down a little with the worry and nodded ok, plus she knew she would lose eventually at this argument. We talked some more about it and then Luke watched the boys while I took Maya to the police station to file a restraining order.
Maya's POV
I was sleeping soundly in bed and in Owen's arms when I heard an odd noise. I sat up and listened, then I saw a shadow in the room and I wake up Owen. "Owen wake up there's someone standing in our room."
For a moment Owen was still snoring until I gave one really big push on his shoulder waking him up in the process. He jumped out of bed and tackled the person, I turn on the light and see that it's Shawn! Grabbing my cell phone I call 911 while Owen fights with Shawn.
I told the dispatcher and intruder broke in and what my address and apartment number was before hanging up with them and worrying about Owen as him and Shawn continues to fight along with hoping the boys didn't wake up from this since they've been sleeping an hour extra each time we've put them down surprisingly since they were almost a month old now. Owen was finally able to knock out Shawn flatting him out on the floor not moving. The only way I could tell he was still alive was his chest was moving up and down. I looked over at Owen and could see his eye was turning black and blue already and swelling.
"I called the cops they should be here soon." I tell him getting off the bed wrapping him in a hug for comfort.
"Good bastard could rot there!" Owen muttered laying a head on top of mine. "Are you ok though."
"I wasn't the one fighting and got hurt, scared and frightened for both the boys and me yes but not hurt." I whisper.
"I told you I would never let anyone hurt you or the twins." Owen said rubbing my shoulders as I heard a loud knock on the front door causing Evan and Blake to wake up.
"L.A.P.D. open up," they call. Owen runs out to open the door while I pick up the boys. Owen explains who Shawn is and about the restraining order to one officer while the other handcuffs Shawn. "You'll have to come to the station in the morning to fill out a report but we'll book him for the B&E and restraining order violation."
"Ok thanks we will," I tell him letting out a breath as Shawn is drug out.
After Owen closed the door he came back over and grabbed Evan and we continued to rock them until they settled down then took them back into the nursery and laid them back in there cribs and turned there mobiles on to sound the to sleep. I quietly closed the door and made our way back to our shared room. "I can't believe he actually broke in, thank you for protecting us,"
"I do anything for you guys, you should know that by now since Luke and I have been telling you since you've been in LA." Owen said wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer for comfort.
"It was still scary and I hate that you're hurt, I hope Shawn is gone for good now," I said reaching up running a gentle hand against his eye and watch him flinch. "If you hadn't been here who knows what would have happened, we all love having you here and I feel safer when you're here. Would you consider moving in, permanently?"
"Yes I'd love to." He replied and surprising me by leaning down and kissing me. "Maya will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" I said happily that he finally as and hoped that he liked me just as much as I liked him. I kissed him again sitting up some so I could wrap my arms around him and feel him near me.
Luke's POV
Maya, Owen and I arrived at the courthouse for Shawn's trial, Evan and Blake were being watched by Barbara. It had been two weeks since Shawn had broken into Maya's apartment, that same night Maya asked Owen to move in and he asked her to be his girlfriend. We sat in the courtroom, Maya between us and every time Shawn looked at her we glared at him. We all gave testimony and Maya told her whole story and the jury was only out for 45 minutes. Shawn was found guilty of breaking and entering, assault and violating his restraining order, the judge sentenced to him to ten years and Maya let out a relieved breath. We made our way out of the courthouse and got in Owen's car and made our way to Babs Diner to celebrate and pick the boys up.
"Shawn is finally gone and I can move on." Maya commented smiling grabbing Owen's free hand squeezing it.
"Moving on is good, and we'll be with you to help," I tell her.
She nods thanks and soon we made tit to the diner and made our way in. it wasn't really busy yet for a Tuesday Morning since there was work and school in session. Owen and I both took today off to go to court with her and help her deal with everything. Right away we spot Babs and Henry at the counter talking.
"So how'd it go?" Babs asks.
"Great he was sentence 10 years." Owen said.
"Oh that's wonderful." Babs said excitedly looking over at Maya. "You and your babies will be safe now for good."
"Yeah and in a few weeks I'll be able to go back to school and work, and get the twins in a good daycare." Maya said leaning into Owen happily.
""And you can do all that without fear now." Owen said kissing her lightly as Henry comes over with pieced of cake for everyone.
Maya's POV
I finished putting on my makeup and left the bathroom. Normally I'd only get this dressed up for a date with Owen but it was 8 in the morning and I was this dressed up because I was graduating today. Owen and I have been together for a year and a half now and Evan and Blake are 20 months old. They would all be at my graduation and of course so would Luke, Becky, Tris Jenna and Zig.
"You look amazing," Owen smiles when I come out of the bathroom.
"Thanks. I would kiss you but I don't have time to fix my makeup." I tell him just as Luke walks out of the boy's room holding both their hands and walk up to us. "Well don't you boys look adorable?"
"All dressed up and ready to see me Mommy graduate aren't you?" Luke says to Evan.
"Mommy day!" Evan says clapping his hands.
"We better leave now to make it on time." Owen said picking Blake up as Luke did the same with Evan as I grabbed my cap and gown.
We made our way out of the apartment and into my car and buckled the boys in along with ourselves and Owen started driving to the campus where graduation ceremony was. Owen parks and we walked down to where they would be sitting. Becky, Jenna Zig and Tris were there and I hugged them. "I have to go get my cap and gown, see you guys after the ceremony." I tell them hugging the boys and Owen goodbye and make my way to where all the graduates were getting ready at and I put my gown and hat on while I talked to couple people I had classes with and waited for the announcements to get ready to start the ceremony and go to our seats. First the Dean made a speech and then our guest speaker and finally they started calling our names. One by one we all went up. When I heard my name I almost couldn't move, I couldn't believe I'd done it. When I took my diploma I heard Owen cheering louder than anyone and I blew him a kiss before making my way off stage. I sat down and slowly the rest of the student's names were called and once we all had our diplomas the caps were thrown and we were now graduates. I leave the rain of hats and go to find Owen and everyone walking over with a smile and my diploma.
"Congrats Maya!" Becky and Jenna both hollered grabbing me in a tight hug as Zig and Luke both handed me flowers and gold Evan and Blake giving me kisses.
"I'm proud of you," Luke says,
"Yay Mommy!" The boys clap together.
I look at Owen and then my heart stops when he goes down on one knee and pulls out a ring box.
"Owen." I said surprised.
"Just listen please. I love you the moment I saw you at the Diner for the first time in years you looked amazing and I couldn't get your face out of my head. I didn't care that you were pregnant or that you were having another jerks babies. I fell in love and I'm still in love and you would make me the luckiest man if you said yes." Owen says and at the end opens the box to show a beautiful diamond ring before he began talking again.
"Will you marry me?"
