31/08/13 A/N well this one took a while, it was pretty hard actually to get it right interaction with Cons without having a reason to die at there hands is pretty hard, but the hardest would definitely be when it came to Megatron, unless he's stuck under alot of rocks your not going to get a word in lol but i hope i did alright with this chapter :)
so Ellen is still Synth-upped and goes through the split personality phase :S
Tainted Mind
Decepticon Warship, The Nemesis, 04:47am
W-hoa. That Synthen is starting to feel quite buzzing like a sudden get up and go feeling, like an energy drink but about...hmm, four? Anyway i'm becoming absence minded, so, I step out the room as i deploy a single weapon; there are many areas to be explored but first to find there vault, for what they have stolen from us. Living off Earth like it were a host, its bad enough that we're also parasites but now it has become an infestation.
I don't intend on going home without results, and that i am not a...a...i-it's slightly worrying; I'm starting to feel different as in a different perspective on everyone. By that i mean my bots and humans. Just, when i think of them, and who they are. I'm starting to...I'm not sure i-i want to go back. S-Something nagging in my head makes me say no, and to only do this for me. Why do i need to go back to them?
I want to explore instead of focusing on the rules i don't know why I'm thinking this. But i want to see that Predacon. As much as i would love to see a Dinobot even at risk of being killed. I'm tired of confinement, where has it got me? On the couch is where. And yet there are other who seem to be getting results, I'm...I'm so lost.
S-Stop it. Don't think too much into that, we all have our flaws y-your just being immature soon you'll sound as whiny as Spiderman if you keep this up. N-Now get back to focus. How any of the Cons find themselves around here I'll never know, maybe they use satellite navigation? Room, room, room, come on I'm not even hearing the moaning of zombies anymore, wonder if it'll spread through the entire ship? ...that would be beneficial in a way maybe the Nemesis would crash into a mountain and they would become a part of our history. Heh heh, what a thought. What? Con smeared across the mountains too much? I guess they wouldn't technically smear, fall to pieces as though they had been hacked up then.
Ah! Who cares? Primus I'm so-so agitated, i feel like scratching an itch that's not even there but it's still there! Alright shut up, rooms, rooms, i need specific rooms.
Weird as it is, that is, the irrelevancy of it, i realize whereabouts on the ship i am, but I'm in the wrong hallway to start with and I'm not being cautious at all, is there a point? Just wastes time, I'm not skulking around as though I'm the undead myself. It's too slow, too slow.
I know I'm in the 'science department' if you will. But i would think that Shockwaves room of expertise would be a little closer to Megatron, with that tiny fragment of CNA and yet...if anyone was to transport that fragment quickly it would be Soundwave. I found myself stopping to that thought, "falling...i lost t-t-the fragment." I thought out loud. Wonder how much of an idiot i looked when disappearing? I shudder at that thought alone, even worse maybe Ultra Magnus is making a number of points of how i executed that situation wrong. So i don't have the answers to every scenario I'm not perfect, but I'm also not a drone, like he wants us to be, fallen in line in a perfect formation. Individuality is something to NEVER lose.
I like order. when there needs to be, you know it looks good, neat and what not but consistent order can be, well, boring. There's nothing different it's just routine. I do understand the protocol he wants to keep, after all some days have been all over the place, without strategy or communication, or the 'shrugging' attitude sometimes...but I'm not telling him that. if, i ever had a chance to do so.
And then there's the rest of them, Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Smoke...Smokescreen. What if...Dad will start...f-forget it i should be grateful that he's alive. That he saved him, right? R-Right. Primus...Ignorance is bliss i wish i had it instead of poking my nose in and finding out about what happened down there with those two.
Something must be wrong with me, when i have a problem i usually don't get over it for ages, not like the others. They have a problem they confront it end of story, i don't know maybe one day I'll just, snap. Maybe it will do me some good.
J-Just stop thinking like that, just get home. Al-Alright, alright, just get what you can or do what you can and i...great, i hear a unit...
05:17am
I'm progressing and that's all that matters, what's done is done. Th-they left me no choice. W-what am i saying? I speak as thought they don't matter. Which they don't.
N-eurgh...I've never felt so confused since our base was destroyed, it's like i just want to stand still and do nothing, there's no, motivation. But i carry on nonetheless, i have passed by many useless rooms, one of which was an Energon storage room but i can't exactly carry them all without a means of an exit, but I'll take note of it for now, but i have found some evidence of Silas and his 'bite'. Leaking Energon from several bodies some tainted with a mix of purple and blue. Well i better cut off any transformation, even if they don't give me any trouble it doesn't feel right to leave them to wander as Terrorcons...and i can't believe i called them that with confidence. Just a personal feeling but i feel more comfortable with the term, holyscrapdeadwalkingcons.
06:02am
My handy work is not without notice, i can feel it, three quarters of an hour has gone by and i have had no encounter with any more Vehicons...there watching me. I know it. But there also preoccupied with other things so i am only a nuisance.
3rd person POV
From the bridge of the Nemesis Soundwave was overlooking several parts of the ship, such as the Predacon, Shockwave and Ellen. As Starscream (with damage) and Megatron also observe.
"E-heh. Another, experiment has somehow survived." Starscream said cringing to his new found injuries.
Megatron ignored him.
"i-i'll have it disposed of right away." Starscream said tenting his fingers.
"No." Megatron snapped raising a hand as he looked back at the screen. "You have already lost one relic, a number of my units, my Insecticons, and now an unstable but aware aggressive mind now has the potential to finish what you started and from what our ships security shows, she intends to head towards our vaults."
"b-but Silas, his was a..."
"I cannot control a being of flesh and metal you fool!" He snapped watching the screen, noting her mutterings involuntary.
"What a useless being. The formula is obviously a failed project." Starscream stated.
"That useless being almost terminated you once and lost quite a quantity of Energon. And past impulsive others have fallen also. Such as Hardshell. These humans, Unicrons parasites seem to be beings of circumstance, accidents, destructive accidents." he noted. "She is displaying such, confusion and though does not realize it. The Synthetic Energon is deteriorating her very thought and will. Soon she will be consumed and turn as Silas had. A blank mind."
"Would you prefer i send in a few more units?" Starscream said.
"No. the damage has been high enough, handle it yourself."
"Me?"
Soundwave turned around to face Megatron, "Soundwave, she is not as much a threat as Arachnid." He told him as he turned his attention back to Starscream. "You are the very term deceptive Starscream. Use those manipulative vocals, your silent abilities just dispose of her quickly."
Starscream looked behind him, "Right away, Master." He said backing away. "This time i will silence something."
6:27am
"At last." Ellen sighed almost tired like as she looked over the door, noticing scratches, "Over doing it a little Silas" she said as the door slightly struggled to open on approach. She looked into the room, many pod like holders were keeping the relics inside, one empty, and another destroyed which contained an empty Insecticon pod. "The Forge, check. And Arachnid is unaccounted for. Another fake out. I'm not even sure if i should tell Arcee." She then looked around with confusion, "Where are you Silas? He must have come in here; no Vehicon has hands like Breakdowns."
She knelt down looking at the debris, "Energon, which Arachnid has." She said tapping a finger against her helm as she theorized, "Silas tore through the pod and broke her from stasis. But the question is, who came out standing on top?" she noted the clear signs of a fight and struggle, "Wonder if i can land a place on CSI?" she wondered as she made her way over to a large puddle of purple and green. "Your blood was spilled..." she started following a slight trail, "your body was dragged away...but i don't see any evidence of Arachnid."She stood there silent for a moment. "Sometimes i wonder if he knew my parents or if they knew him. Just let this be buried already i have enough emotional issues as it is."
She then flinched as she held her helm "Ne-urgh...Idiot. Is everyone so bent on getting themselves killed?" she turned back to the vaults, "hell-o what's this?" she said looking to one in particular. "The Star Saber?...what a troubling relic you are." She said looking at it as it glowed as she came closer, "What?" she said in an asking manner starting to think that she may need to think outside the logical barrier , "your hilt was once where the Matrix resided, so if your anything like it do you have a will? Or are you being possessed by a past figure again? How that was possible i have no idea." she said folding her arms.
It hummed again, a low pulsing sound that reached her audio receptors and she placed her hand on the glass as her head slightly spasm. "n-urgh..." she groaned holding her arm and as she tried to focus. "Was that the Synthen or you that time?" she groaned. "Nice, just turn hostile on me why don't you. What you don't like this form?" She said stroking her hand, "i guess it really isn't me but..." she looked up, a blue misty path resided above that came from the Star Saber. "I know where to go." She said to it as the path remained. "I don't need your help. Ask and you may receive, you kind of violated that."
She turned to the other containers that held the Immobilizer and Spark Extractor; "let's see if i can get through this, come on Synthen do what you intended." She said throwing back a fist, and landing it onto the container, which cracked within the first hit, the cracks continued upwards creating a network in appearance a second hit and the container shattered and the relic was exposed. "Some vault." she performed the same action with the second and was now holding both. The Spark Extractor was held under her arm like a book and the Immobilizer held like a spear.
She stepped forward following the light as she briefly glanced at the empty Insecticon pod. "So, where are you now?" she said "Well, now i have other reasons to get off this ship. I can't say i feel comfortable around stalking cougars...o-or-or spiders, like b-big ones. Why do they always land in front of your face? More scared of us my fake aft."
She continued out the door as the light continued its way down the hallways. "Still helping me huh?" she then realized an error looking to where the path was leading, "i guess you do have a will. But...this is the wrong way I'm going that way, south of the ship, the closest Groundbridge controls are there, the other way just leads me to up top."
Instead of following the light she headed the way she intended before stopping for curious thoughts, clenching her fists as she sighed heavily, "me and my stupid curiosity." She said turning back to follow the light, "I'm such a tool."
She continued to follow it though if it was to the exit she wasn't entirely sure. Along the way she had to silence Vehicons that came in sight, halting there movement to stiff statues.
She put her back to the wall when the ground suddenly shook, "where were you taking me?" she questioned shuffling alongside the wall as she stiffened to the sound of a low rumble, a groan. She peaked around as she saw the Predacon just at the end of the hall by the hangar door, Vehicons were keeping the creature in one place, seven to be exact. And were applying a series of minor but agitating harm onto the creatures Armour plating. "Guess they want to reinforce him to stay in this exact area. Or something, but he should know by now." She said holding herself against the wall. "But I'm not down with animal abuse."
She watched his optics as they winced but he would retaliate as well snapping his jaws at the Cons and finally catching one and throwing him to one side. She looked up and noticed the light had faded. And stepped out as she walked towards them as the Predacon finished frying a Vehicon mid air, he growled in alarm, several blasts later and more statues resided, the Predacon's throat turned a glowing orange color the force itself caused static to linger on her Armour. "If you intend to kill yourself then you go ahead." She said as he stopped which said response fascinated her. She didn't expect him to stop; she expected what she had said.
"What a fast response." She thought as the Predacon fidgeted anxiously shaking his head and moving a foot forward and back, "Oh. You want to know how? If i had used the immobilizer that fire ball would've imploded on itself and with it still residing inside you your whole body would have collapsed in on itself." She said, hoping her guess of his level of intelligence was correct.
The Predacon growled and flapped its wings in protest, "be calm Predacon. So much rage, what have you to be angry about?" She scoffed.
The Predacon looked up growling as he took a step forward swishing his tail.
"If you don't calm down..." she said holding the Spark extractor tight, "the instant i activate this, it will claim the sparks of any in its radiance including yours." He looked at the object. "Do you understand? You will fall back into extinction." She watched the Predacon's optics wander up and down looking her over as well as the said relic.
She thought it was mere coincidence but the Predacon's optics shut slowly as though like a nod. "But it doesn't have to come to that I'll put this down. If you calm down." the Predacon hissed a growl but lowered his stance venting any built up frustration that felt like air through the plating on his neck, "alright then."
He lay himself down as she tried to figure out the purpose of the direction the Star Sabar had taken her. "Hmm, one Predacon." She looked to the sides of his body, "if i weren't so hopped up the bad stuff I'd be a bit further away from him." She thought "those wounds are just starting to scar. Been out recently?" she asked him.
He growled tilting his head to one side. "Then if not battle scars, what?" she asked for confirmation, as well as not realizing the obvious.
He growled in an almost shameful tone scraping the floor with his clawed feet, then purred something that she picked up on from her enhanced audios, "Small? From those who all look alike? You mean the Vehicons?" his head lifted making a low moaning sound of confusion, "Yes. Yes i...can strangely understand you; the Synthen has improved my hearing, that much so i can understand the frequency of your tone as language." She said with such an eager tone. "But more so, i have animal companions back home, little things they do give me clues to what they want." She laid a hand on her head to how exciting this was for her. "This is, amazing, communication. I've always known that animals can display as much intelligence as us. And i had thoughts that you could probably communicate as well because of the culture you've come from. Either that or your just pretending to be dumb."
"..." the Predacon said lifting his hopeful head.
"Predacon? No t-there not Predacon's. Our animals aren't quite as similar to you in body frame or abilities." she looked over herself, "Sorry." She said as the Predacon lowered its head again. "Have you, always been alone? Shockwave made no others?"
He growled at her, "One Predacon or a thousand Predacon's isn't going to give me any kind of advantage Preda-uno. Think about it I'm not after any Intel i just want to get back home."
"..."
"No others." She confirmed looking to certain spot on his body.
"...?" he added.
"Home? Well yeah this planet is my home but i meant that more metaphorical then literal. As in my home could be in many places, as long as my friends and family are there."
"...?...?...?!"
Her head slightly shook comprehending all the sudden questions he threw at her, "W-Well i can't really answer all those questions now i mean you're wasting, i mean i can't and don't demand it of me."
He immediately growled at her suggestive threatening tone. "Don't you pout at me. I once had to look after twenty German Sheppard's for two weeks who would tear a man's arms out of its socket at a simple scent of fear so i do not tolerate that kind of behaviour Mister." She said wagging a finger at him.
He mumbled a raspy hiss as he stood down again always watching the relics she held.
"Hmm." She said sighing, "So who did those?" she noted the more deeper cuts.
He looked his body over as he draped a wing over to cover them, performing a throaty growl at the same time. "..."
"The deeper ones, are from someone else?"
"...S...r...m..."
"I see." She said with integrity. "He's hurt me too and...Others, I've lost and damaged limbs because of him, some which were...irreplaceable." she holding her arm before shaking her head realizing her form.
He looked her up and down. "...?"
"I was referring to my human body." She said as the Predacon made a raspy sound like a snort. "Hey now, who are you to judge? And i would say that you look weird to me but I'd be lying. I saw you and the only word to come to mind was..." She stood herself up as he produced a low growl to the sudden movement. "Forgive me but, you are...beautiful and terrifying. Like nature." She said quietly before frowning to herself. "I'm such a dork; I need to get out more." She muttered to herself.
He tilted his head intrigued at the description. Then tilted his wings folding them in.
Her enhanced audio receptors then picked up on a tippy-tappy sound of feet and turned slightly agitated. "You deserve just as much right as they do." She started darkly. "I am not some insect you want to sneak up on." She thought.
"...?" the Predacon said trying not to flick his optics upwards, knowing the presence.
"You display intelligence like them, you think and feel. So, why are you treated any different? Why have you not your own quarters, just the ships doormat?" she continued fast pacing her speech as she slightly grinned to the sound of feet closing in and the Predacon was very aware of this 'beings' presence as he had to refrain from growling at the Con, choosing between the metallic female and Starscream he knew he had to remain faithful to Lord Megatrons will. Then Ellen changed her tune as she softened her optics purposely looking to the Predacon with fake pained optics. "Predacon..." she whispered. "I'm just trying to get back home, to my own. Call me and kill me as a coward but what form of cowardice is worse? Mine? Or Starscreams?" she expressed darkly the intensity of the Synthen residing in her optics.
The Predacon felt lost in conflict as he looked over the female, then to Starscream who placed a finger up against his mouth gesturing a 'shh' as he silently lifted his clawed hand. The Predacon growled at the choice of 'back stabbing' as she purposely gasped spinning around to face him.
"Shockwave, Arachnid, this thing, i can barely tolerate but the sight of you and all your kind sickens me to the pit of my spark!" He extended his claws, "whatever orders, i am not making this 'quick'!" He cried bringing his hand down.
Ellen whipped around as she shields her face with her arms, what happened next...well she felt pain, but when she slightly peaked her optics there was a clawed foot clasped around her mid section as she was brushed to one side, the squeeze of his claws hurt and caused her to almost wheeze for her form to be forced into that kind of position, the downside that her frame restricted flexibility, not the kind that her human body could provide, but it was better than a fatal attack from Starscream or that the Predacon chose not to kill her.
"What?!" Starscream hollered as he found himself in confrontation with the Predacon.
"Wow." She awed from the side, those little tiny pieces of plating that fit neatly with its form almost like organic reptilian skin.
"What are you doing you foul creature?! This is not your business, crawl back from whatever test tube you came from!" Starscream demanded striking the Predacon in the face his claws barely leaving a graze. The Predacon continued to growl as it stepped towards him as Starscream backed away. "Mindless creature, is force the only thing you can accomplish?!"
"Ah. My cue." Ellen said slowly making her way from beside the Predacon and shuffling past the two, the Predacon had now had his heavy foot on Starscream who said Con started hollering commands at. This time as she stepped lightly in the other direction she gasped for real, "Fan-slaggin-tastic." She hissed tensing her form and stance.
"Using Starscreams methods of training to gain a neutral agreement with the Predacon. Unicrons will has always followed your evolution." Megatron said on contact.
She looked him over, her optics flicking back and forth she couldn't analyze properly, nor think, this place was full of beings she had come to loathe, and fear. "You...why are YOU here? Starscream he..."
"Needed supervision. Even the simplicity of any given task seems to slip through his grasp." He said simply.
"...well then. Are you going to kill me or is this going to be like a 'sike die' moment?" she said taking small steps back, watching his posture, wary and unpredictable as a prey species.
"Being too wary displays lesser being behavior." He said placing his hands behind his back, he was very calm and in his element.
"So you've preached." She noted feeling slightly on edge because of his behavior.
His optics turned a darker shade, "Watch your vocals." He hissed making her slightly flinch, "Manipulation is a very desirable trait for higher ranking officers. If only humans were more evolved in body as well as mind." He continued as he looked her over, a look that made her feel 'disgusting'. "Instead of lazy imitation. But as a 'tool' you have managed to cause an obstruction." He noted a Vehicon in stasis further down the hall way.
"I...I...i did what i could...to..."
"Survive. Yes." He said, his optics glowing a harsher shade.
"What do you want Megatron? And why are you speaking with me instead of terminating me?"
"Don't think i won't terminate you at the given opportunity." He said grinning slightly.
"Then why speak to me? Even sought me out?"she said her processor straining from such simple questions.
"What is your function as an Autobot exactly?" he asked slyly intending he prefer her to be enraged.
"The pit you want to know? I'm just...coincidence or luck. Is that what you want to hear?" She said her anger turning to a more saddened tone. "n-no it's not that. I mean i don't exactly know what my place is in the world at the moment. Everything has been happening so fast and so often." She continued, now conversing with herself, "I-i keep things that aren't acceptable to note in a group, if-if i did I'd be, I'd be..."
"Questioned."
"Looked differently at for my thoughts." She corrected. "Like Ultra Magnus..." she hissed. "S-stop trying to converse with me! Why am i talking to you anyway? My head is on fire, i-i'm lost, i'm confused and tired but i can't stop moving. I want off now!" she pointed the immobilizer at him and trailed her fingers across the Spark Extractor applying pressure to a certain point as it made a beeping sound, "auto or a set timer?"
"You have nowhere to go. You would just kill us all." He said emphasizing the empty halls.
"Well that's the entire point."
"I'm only confronting you because you're too narrow minded to comprehend what you hold." He said as she looked doubtfully at them, "You choose Suicide? Destroy all Decepticons? Perhaps. But you'd destroy others as well. What would Optimus think?"
She made a tiny whimper sound to the sudden mixed emotions she experienced, "May-maybe...i-i wouldn't like to put that kind of upset on-on anyone..." her expression darkened again, "Do you always have to bring him up? Why not mention how the younger bots manage to snatch everything from your hands you should really consider them as well. Don't think you're just a 'Prime' only kill."
"Be silent Girl." He uttered almost demon like as she was forced into submission, "With our current search for fossilized Predacon remains already completed, you are lost to the cause. They all have their roles, and you...are the odd job." He said.
"Psychology. Good one, try harder. I understand what is prioritized." She continued warily.
"Just as Orion Pax was prioritized?" he argued back.
"Leadership is priority." She retaliated.
"And what of this 'Jack'? To be signed with such an important task?"
"You don't talk about him." She growled.
"It was not that long ago he would have been exposed to Cybertron's atmosphere and died, a slow death. His life blood expelling from his body from the atmosphere itself..." he stated flatly.
"You even go near them again and I'll tear your throat out." She stated hoarsely as she blindly raised a hand at him with the Spark Extractor, only for him to merely pluck her wrist between two fingers, she just thrashed to her restrained position.
"Primitive...very primitive." He mused. "Now that is something admirable about this race, your anger and hatred. Instinct." He said taking the relic away from her. "but without that amount of control and intelligence, you only fall like the Predacon race, too stupid to survive while there too busy attacking anything that moves."
"t-this is not me." She said tiredly clawing feebly at his hand.
"Why didn't Optimus choose you to hold the key to Vector Sigma?" he asked slyly.
"I...he was- and why not Jack?" She argued not letting him trip her up. "Besides i had another role as small as that. But, He still gave it to me, he's always trying to give me self-confidence through events like- frag off."
He lifted his head slightly with a breathless cackle, "I was a gladiator in the pits of Kaon. Optimus at the time was a librarian; i worked to the protoform of my very digits to even get some kind of recognition from the high council and what was the end results?" he continued to watch her other hand that held the Immobiliser, she was too lost and stupid to realize to just use it, but wanted to listen.
"I...know the story, bu-but your thoughts were wrong."
"'wrong' is a matter of perspective, i wanted what was best for our society. If you had some kind of way to get us to leave? Or to win this war with means of force would you use it?" She looked to her feet but he forced her to look at him as he took a step forward, "remember that if it weren't for me, or my methods to draw attention, do you think that Orion Pax would amount to anything if it wasn't my actions that triggered those events?"
Her head was burning, the Synthetic Energon blocking thoughts of reason to just shut off and focus on home, instead it raised curious thoughts. "Perhaps..." was what she said.
"When before the high council after i had heaved myself from the lowest caste, to finally voice my thoughts, what did he do? Or do you know that part of the 'story'?"
"He voiced his own thoughts." She said darkly whacking her head with a closed fist, "But o-only to try and defend you, as a clerk, he was able to access Cybertron's history; he understood what Cybertron was and what it needed to be! What did you-"
"He taught me of Cybertron's history! I knew what needed to be done also! You don't have the knowledge or experience to lecture me about what is right and wrong, both are not fact only perspective!"
She slightly stuttered. "You're just..."
"Everyone has potential and yet it is those who have foolishly wasted there time with other things instead of pursuing greater goals. Such as placing their faith in the will of an inanimate relic."
"Bec..."
"Why are we not worthy enough for greater things? Who tells us what we can never be? What i cannot be? Because i think undesirably by means of death? There guilty consciences say it's wrong but they really want to be ruled by ruthlessness, you have these thoughts too, all of you think this way you just cannot grasp it."
"I...Choose not to t-think that way. We've all thought in bad ways what we should do and have even done bad things but the difference is that we regret it, not like you." she stated her grip loosening on the relic. "Just get me off here or I'll make you as much a statue as the one you planted back on Cybertron. maybe even a step further." She growled clutching the Spark Extractor.
He cackled. "I know that you could. I am very sure you have that potential despite the obvious 'regret' you'd feel for it, But think of all those who have suffered, your race, the mental and physical pain from our war. Plaguing your world. Look at your own pain. What of all those who may be suffering similarly, but are unheard stories covered by your government? Think of all those lives lost, their deaths termed as 'accidents'?"
She growled. "It wouldn't have happened if you hadn't come!"
"It takes two factors we are just as a much a plaque to your world as they are, Energon resources from both sides. Who interfered with the high council? Who sought me out in the first place? He never thought to take action, until i was his inspiration."
"He could've been much more on his own."
"He still needed him to set him on that path. To the destiny fate had given him." He said.
Her optics darkened, A trigger of anger and her own thoughts and the Synthen had what it could to take over. "All the things you do, trying to keep your friends save and to work as a team. I wanted to save him. I wanted to. Who says i couldn't? Fate? T-The Matrix? I wanted...to save him."
Lowering his head to her vision. "Save who, exactly?" he asked.
"Primus, my h-head...!" she wailed. "Urgh...i need to keep...k-keep..." She looked to him. "Stupid loathsome cowards. You don't even understand words or reason what's the point?! If i could I'd...i s-should've just used it...Wasters! All of you, remains of a dead civilization." She growled.
he watched her fall apart, as he encouraged it further, "Superiority is the true freedom. what will ultimately end this war."
"Heh, yes because YOUR methods seem to be winning this tug of war." she said.
"Who are you to express such smugness with me?!" he growled, his face that close the only color she could see was red.
She jolted slightly before turning rageful, "Oh what are you going to do?! Kill me? Like you do as naturally as humans breathe? What a usual change of pace!"
He slyly grinned, "Even though i do not know the location of your base or any location of your human companions there is still enough firepower on this ship to target a city. Perhaps the other location which you have 'migrated' from? I'm sure Optimus would respond and intercept."
She slightly hummed a laugh, "you have so much faith in him you don't even know."
He remained silent as he let her continue.
"The way you questioned his whereabouts on Dark mount. As though you thought he went into hiding like the rest of us, for as much as you are cunning and brutal, you're just as NAIVE."
In a flash he took her by the throat and rammed her up the ship walls, "you will learn to hold your voice box, before i tear it out." he growled starting to squeeze her throat.
She placed the immobilizer just in front of his chassis, "i-i t-t-think not."
He cackled, "Even when faced with termination. But knowing that Prime himself is capable of death. That is interesting."
Her optics widened, "W-What does it matter? H-He's alive now."
"It matters, it matters to me. If you an reveal that you can reveal more. As long as humans exist, the Autobots can never win this War you will always be a weakness to them and a weak link."
"Enough. Enough with halting my reason and turning it into ugly thoughts." She said pressing the Immobilizer into his Armour as he growled at the action. "let me go."
He released her reluctantly as he placed a plucked finger inside his spark chamber a slight cracking, breaking sound as he retracted his fingers, producing a small fragment of Dark Energon. "An interesting substance do you not think?" he asked.
"W-What are you? Y-You keep that away from me..." she said feeling a slight chill. but without thinking about it she had always been looking at it.
"It has always existed on your world, you have always felt it but never realized it. In its refined state very deadly to humans but in its raw state..."
"What are you saying?"
"Primus and Unicron, one cannot exist while the other does as well, but if a combination of the two is formed." He stopped, "if only your human body was here, i could have potentially used you to test that theory instead of testing Synthetic Energon."
Her eyes briefly turned a blue shade again that statement alone intrigued her more than anything else, test what exactly? She finally saw sense through the Synthen. "Why are you still here just get out of there." She told herself as she looked at the Dark Energon shard.
He saw her hesitation as her grip tightened on the Immobilizer, as in a quick reaction she took hold of the hand that held the shard as he swung his other arm upper cutting her in the chin as she flew back, sparks flying as her body scraped against the floor, "i do not need another advantage or a way to the future it makes no difference to me i control all your destines, Dead or alive at least Optimus will be in constant disarray with your absence." He said as she wiped a sliver of green liquid substance from her mouth.
"y-you can't kill me in this form fathead." She called finding her feet. "Wow...Don't do drugs." She said as Megatron started shooting at her, the projectiles were large and the pressure almost cut into her Armour.
She shot the Immobilizer that at an angle only managing to immobilize his leg. Then she ran, as he fired and though missed projected her forward as she forward rolled hitting the floor hard, "Ah! Get off this ship. Get off this ship! Good lord I've been a mess." She repeated running down the hallway as she uncapped her free hand that held the Dark Energon shard, she took a vial of Synthen from her arm compartment and drained it as she placed the shard inside then put it away again. Still Megatron continued to shoot at her, some missed, some were hits, most notably taking chunks out of her legs as she fell again puling herself to the nearest corner to avoid him.
She looked at her leg, her metallic skin was exposed but wasn't bleeding, that is not enough for what she had in mind. She could hear Megatron even with a stiffened heavy leg still managed to run and she begun to panic, she was now vulnerable in mind, she couldn't fight, her legs were jelly, she could encounter anyone. "I need to get rid of this stuff, i-its..." she held her helm as she clawed the wall with a free hand and heaved herself up, entering the first room she came across. Her legs had lost their strength and it was hard to support her own weight. "O-Oh Primus." she gasped. "Don't die, you can't die."
She looked around the room using anything for support, "N-No guards, strange. Even with the odds i..." she didn't notice him at first as though he just appeared in the back ground. "O-Oh." She started to say backing off as some kind of last resort attempt. She had used too much Synthen it had caused paranoia and anxiety, she was now frightened.
"N-No Guards, strange." Soundwave replayed back to her.
"Y-You got me here, now-now get me b-back Slenderman." She stated her voice breaking.
"B-B-B-B-Back." He replayed, holding out a hand tensing his fingers.
She looked to her hand that held the Immobilizer. "Why should i give it back when i can use It." she said meekly. He twitched his fingers again. "Looks like a showdown sit-situation."
"Here, now, a showdown." He replayed.
"Great. A poet." She said as he brought out his tentacle like extended limbs, the end parts that acted as a gripping tool turned into a spear shaped head as he started to throw them at her, she attempted ducking but even if they didn't fully hit her they still took a chunk of Armour from her shoulder, another fast attack and a dodge and it scraped her hip.
"Return the relic, or be, terminated." Soundwave said.
"H-Holy scrap I'm hallucinating." she awed ducking. "This is no good, i gotta attack or he'll just tear me apart." She then shot at his limbs forcing there direction to turn off course but left one over, "One arm should do it, now attack me." She said herself as the speared limb came her way towards her lower abdomen. "This is going to hurt. But i have to drain the Synthen. Like poison from a wound." She said trying not to cringe.
The spearhead was swift, cutting deep into her Armour making the hip plating crack and completely detach itself from her body, then as swiftly as it entered it retracted its spear like tip dripping with a green substance. "Ahh! N-Nurgh...Damn." she hissed holding her side as she watched the green Energon seep before Soundwave went in for another wave of attacks. "Argh, P-Primus that kills. Turkey Juggler! Turkey Juggler! I'm-trying-to-improve-my-language!" She cried, her dodges were much slower now, "Have to..." she made herself fall down as a wave of spearheads were going to hit her head on, "Be still!" Soundwaves arms were tightly packed together in front of her face, an electrical surge protecting the tips, but this time she was saved as she withdrew the Immobilizer. "a giant electrified spear, good grief when you fight you fight." she said dragging herself from the floor.
she jolted suddenly, letting out a gasp as the doors behind her received a large bang as well as the large dent that followed, she looked to Soundwaves face in a panic, "mm..." she said looking at how blank Soundwaves face was.
"I-I know i shouldn't and i will probably s-shut down from loss of blood, plus it really is un-unhygienic, plus it...ah skrew it! my chances of immaturity are looking slim these days anyway..." with a quick thought of how she will not tell anyone of this she placed a finger over a pool of the Synthen as it dripped off her finger. Then she lay a finger over Soundwaves face, making two small dots for eyes and an upside down rainbow on the lower part of his face.
"Now I've gotten even with you, consider yourself punk'd." She said brushing her hands as she hissed through her teeth again another loud bang and she had to slap herself in the face to get going. "E-Enough fooling around." She said touching the middle of his face as it brought up allot of Con language again, "Groundbridge." She confirmed at a familiar symbol "Oh thank Primus, it's like Google Earth!" she cried clicking onto it looking past the Green life blood. "Hmm well this is much easier now. Just click on the continent, country, somewhere outside civilization and ther...m-mmm...t-there." She muttered holding her side again with a free hand.
A portal opened up beside her as she let a relieving sigh escape her, "Good grief I've been living in a Cuckoo clock." She said holding her side as she limped towards it, "can't believe i thought and said those things. Sssss-Ahhh..." she groaned as she opened a comm link the moment the Bridge closed. "P-Please work..." she pleaded getting in touch with someone who would normally be at base, "H-Hello? Ratc-Ratchet? Could-could you..."
"El-Ellen?! Wh-where are you?! No-No that was...stay there! I-I'll lock onto your co-ordinates." Ratchet yelled.
"I-I don't want to cause alarm or a stasis attack, but uh I'm leaking allot and i...may need a h-hug."
"Hold on, I'm coming." He said as moments later a Groundbridge opened and Ratchet emerged from it, "Give me your arm. Now." He said as he hoisted it over his shoulders he then averted to her gaping wound. "Is that...?" he asked horrified.
She slightly covered it with a free hand, "Ratchet, I'm so sorry."
"That's enough. I don't believe that you would take it willingly and I know what it does to ones thoughts, reason is all gone, let's get you inside." He glanced her over again, "you look terrible." He added flatly.
"Gee, thanks." She said with sarcasm before her legs collapsed, "Urgh, Knockout called me fat."
Ratchet took note of all the wounded areas as he made a concerned sound, "Lean your weight on me." He told her.
"So you agree with him?! A-Ahh..."
"See what happens?" he said matter of factually.
"L-Look" she said weakly, lifting her hand to show him the relic.
He showed her a smile, "And that's one less weapon to concern ourselves with." He said. "lets hurry it up little roller."
She flashed him a glare, "Don't start Ratchet...there's a thought when was the last time we called you Hatchet? Let's get that going again."
"Be quiet." He huffed.
"Where...where is..."
"Stop talking, i mean it. Everyone is out." He said as they came through into base Raf was in control of the Groundbridge from his computer, "Jack help me clean her wounds, Miko her vitals." He placed her on the med table as he picked her legs to lay them on the table also.
"Connected to the Spark right?" Miko asked.
"To draw any natural reserves to that area yes." He said.
"Any natural reserves?" Jack questioned putting on some disposable gloves.
"Ratchet." Ellen said hoarsely grabbing his arm in a panicked state as he pushed her firmly back down to the table.
"You're just suffering the anxiety effect. Just lay still." He told her.
She groaned laying her head back, "Where has everyone gone?" she said in direction of the ceiling.
"Do i have to disable your vocal processors?" Ratchet threatened.
"Yes, because I'm going to keep asking even if it's just a breathless raspy sound." She said quietly.
he sighed heavily, "Investigating a Decepticon mining field. Nothing out of the ordinary." He said starting to drain any residing Synthen, "your vision may darken." He told her.
"I'm cold." She mumbled.
He sighed a laugh, "No your not, just allow me to bring you to a stable condition."
She looked to her wounded hip as Jack was cleaning around the wound and Miko with a mop around the table, "your injury looks pretty bad. Close combat?" Jack asked her.
She made a soundless laugh, "You're pretty savvy Jack. But yeah, i needed to wound myself, 'not make a scene by getting rid of the green' you know what I'm sayin'? Besides, i don't think i trusted myself enough to do it myself."
"You can't have been that bad." He said.
"That's right you were at work when Ratchet was on the stuff." She said raising a comical eyebrow at said user. She then looked to the side embarrassed to the thought, "i didn't like the stuff i was saying, it started out as just plain drivel and then, i don't know it just wasn't nice." She started seriously, "and my material was terrible."
"Did you do it yourself?" Miko interrupted.
"Well, no."
"Well what's the problem?" she said.
"I kept using more." She argued.
"Synthen is an extremely...'addictive' source." Ratchet added with his focus still on her open wounds, "It takes over."
She made a humming sound before groaning, "Great, I'm an abuser. I think i should put myself in rehab just to be safe." She added as she watched them finish up the cleaning and Ratchet had begun to close the gash. "Thanks for doing that guys, l-little weird that your basically cleaning up acid..d-d-i-i-i mean the kind of acid that burns your skin of-of course not the other kind of acid that really er...I'm going to shut up now."
"Its fine lord of awkward, cleaning is a normal task at in my line of work." Jack said jesting proudly.
"Keep on marching Jack, lord of the Dishwasher, King of Onion rings, Duke of- I've lost it, it's gone forget it I'm too tired come back tomorrow." She said draping her arms over the side as Jack face palmed.
"Her vitals are low Ratchet, but there steady." Raf said after not speaking for a while.
Ellen lifted her head again, "Jack, you let Raf watch my 'low' vitals? What's wrong with you? Putting that kind of needless pressure on him like he doesn't get enough at home." She lectured.
"H-Have you and my Mom been talking?" he asked.
"Huh?" she said bewildered.
"Move aside Jack." Ratchet then said as his arm was now a laser cutter. "Now try not to move." He told her, and before she could ask what she slightly lent her head back as she made a long hissing sound as he sealed up the wound.
"O-hhh, you nerf herder that stings, Boo-urns, boooo-urns. Don't mind me this helps trust me." She said shutting her optics.
Ratchet shook his head, "you've lost so much Energon." He muttered quietly.
"Is my, you know. 'mind' alright for transfusion?" she asked.
"Not yet, for the time being i will have to induce stasis once I've finished closing up the wound." He said as she almost leapt up.
"R-Ratchet..." she pleaded taking a firm hold on his arm again.
"You will wake from stasis i ensure you." He said taking her hand and forcing its grip off him. "And when you awake the others will be here."
"A-Alri...no it's not alright. Th-that means it will be a while." She then looked down and around to the other three, then mustered Ratchet to lean in as she spoke quietly so that the others didn't hear, "If i die i want to know that i am dying or about to die. I can't die without even knowing. Don't put me in stasis."
"You'll be fine." He reassured.
"We'll be here." Jack jested.
"Actually I'm afraid you can't Jack you would be in the way." Ratchet said shooing him away. "But there presence should be enough."
"m~m~mm..." she said stuttering.
"Its standard procedure." He said as he stopped to look at her beaten up face, "Primus, don't give me that look." He said his tone falling. "Trust me for once, I won't lose you."
"I'd, appreciate it." she jested.
"Now sit back or you're going to end up off that table and crushing Jack." He said as she reluctantly did so but gave a slight glare to the comment. "Ready?"
"Can-can someone hold me? Please?"
Seven hours had passed and Ultra Magnus lay on a med table besides the one Ellen lay on who was still in stasis, Ratchet was to one side as he made up the anatomy for something that could resemble and function as a hand with what materials they had on base. "I may be some time." Ratchet said.
Optimus nodded to him as he was between the two bed ridden beings, he looked to Ultra Magnus' arm with a resilient expression but with regretful thoughts, then turned his head to Ellen, laying a hand on her helm to perhaps stir her from stasis, "Ratchet..."
"She's fine." He moaned. "Normally i wouldn't need to have her in stasis for this long but given the circumstances and factors i would need to be careful not to expel her own mind as i fixed the vessel."
"Her vitals have increased in the past minutes." Optimus said kneeling down the best he could.
"Then she should be conscious soon and I'll have to manually bring her out of stasis. As expected i might add."
Optimus stared at the monitor, her spark beat was slow, he looked at her damaged parts, missing plating, singed metal on her legs, and a dent on her chin. "I know these injuries." He thought analyzing them with a palm as he looked to her face, "Plagued by Synthetic Energon. But you found your way back." He thought in her direction though suddenly frowned, "something is not right." He noted hovering a hand over her arm as he was focused on one particular part.
"Optimus." Ultra Magnus said from his bedside as Optimus retracted his hand to give his attention, "with the Predacon project destroyed i still cannot help but feel as though this victory was hollow. It seemed too simple."
He smiled to himself before turning to him, "I share your concern but you need to recover you are placing too much strain onto your form."
Ratchet mused to himself, "Hmph, Ultra Magnus isn't as young a bot he was before Optimus."
"Yes, however he is still known for..."
Ellen's monitor made a high pitched beep that was consistent and frequent, an alarm. "Move." Ratchet ordered, "Easy now." he said bringing her out of stasis. "Scrap." He uttered.
"Ratchet?" Optimus said.
"The Energon is attempting to detour, i need to keep it around her spark as i bring her back or her body will go into a complete shut down ." He said.
"Any assistance i can provide?" Optimus asked.
"You can keep out of the way. Why else do you think i have told the others to wait outside? I expected this could happen, her motor functions could potentially render involuntary yet. We'll just have to see. What happens now is how humans will say, 'thread the needle'."
"You could not simply, perform the transfer?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"I-I-N-No Commander. She's in a different state of mind, if i transfer her mind in 'stasis' to her human body, what is supposed to be sedation could turn to a coma." He argued holding pinched fingers against his forehead.
"Coma?" he questioned.
Ratchet ignored him as he sighed heavily muttering about human medical ignorance some bots had. After a few minutes of endless tapping and frustrated groans Ratchet finally sighed. "There."
"Is she...?" Ultra Magnus started.
"it would have come on so sudden, but thank the Allspark I'm still fast enough when it comes to my medic duties." he said. "Now nothing too straining." He told Optimus as Ratchet stepped to one side allowing Optimus to move past him.
he hovered over her as he lay a hand on hers as she made small groaning sound, her optics online, then off again as she tried to see. "C-Can i p-pet the doggy?" she said looking to the ceiling, "w-wai...wha...?" she said dizzily though looked to her hand, then up. Her optics flashed in panic as she tried to get up only for Optimus to lay his other hand against her keeping her down.
"Easy." He said.
"D-Dad." she said weakly attempting to push against his hand so she could sit up. "This time i can say that right? Knockouts not around?"
"Hangar E." He confirmed as she felt his hand cupped around the back of her helm, then let her sit up slowly.
"How long have you...?"
"When your vitals showed signs of your estimated online status." Said another voice as she tried to look past Optimus.
"w-wh...a-ah-ah sting, burning ow." She said twisting her neck too rashly. "M-Magnus sir?" she said confused before grinning, "Was there a mutiny?" she asked suavely
"You should be still Ellen." He said giving her a small glare.
"You called me by my name." she said awed. "Your not..." before turning grim and groaned loudly, "unless, I'm the one whose dead?"
"No. Just feel like it." Jack said as she tilted her head slightly to her other side as he stood over from the railings.
"Jack." She expressed fondly. "You ninja you just got up there didn't you?" she added as she started looking around. By now with her fully functional Ratchet had given the all clear to the other bots and humans, "Hey, i got something for you." She said to Optimus as she lifted a free arm. "t-ta-daa." She added weakly opening her tightly cupped hand. "Bet you couldn't take this from me huh Ratch?" she said.
"No..." he simply said in defeat.
Optimus closed her hand around it, "be still." He said lightly gripping her hand. "Much has happened since."
"Such as? I mean, what happened to Magnus? And the fossils? How long have i been out for anyway?"
"Ellen, enough." He said firmly.
"m-m-mm..." she started looking around feeling kept from information. "Please?"
"Everyone is functioning at full capability, there were no casualties and Megatrons Predacon army was disposed of." Ultra Magnus said.
She looked him over just noticing the reason for his bedside manner. "Oh." She said. "Oh! What did they do form an army? Good grief this didn't reach out to our cities did it?" she asked.
"No, we found there operations, the Predacon's still in there cloning tanks. We destroyed them before they could be unleashed." He further explained.
"Were there many?" she asked.
"Yes." He simply said.
Secretly she felt a little regretful to not see these creatures, "How...er, were you...?" she said to Ultra Magnus as he barely glanced at his injury.
"The original Predacon clone. we met him head on and i met a, small injury."
"...like nature." She noted to herself. "I'm sorry Magnus sir."
"Not necessary, i cannot use what i don't have." He said lightly looking at what was left of his hand as Ratchet worked on removing what remained of his fingers.
"So, you do listen...and eavesdrop it seems." She said looking around noticing that the other bots stood to one side of the room, though watched from afar. "I feel as though I've missed out on a lot here." She said suspiciously.
"I'll give you an update." Jack said as he lent over the railings. "And especially about my Mom." He said more quieter.
"You're Mom?" she said very loudly.
"FYI, when i speak quietly you're supposed to follow me on that." He said looking to the floor.
"Sorry. Whoo i feel out of breathe...no, not out of breathe that's just...cooling systems, right?" she asked in Optimus' direction who nodded to the question.
"The loss of Energon has caused a rise in your core temperature to keep all the remaining Energon around your Spark." He explained.
She looked to around the room again as she noticed Bee and Smokescreen 'trying' not to look over as, Wheeljack, Arcee and Bulkhead calmly stood to one side watching the two. "Hey." She waved.
"Alright I'll ask." Smokescreen said slightly nudging Bee to one side, "Could we move in closer? We're feeling isolated." Smokescreen called.
"I guess." She said lazily.
"Hey, you're alive then?" he asked.
"Obviously, idiot." She jested.
"Well I'm sorry but you do look a bit like those undead Ratchet was telling me about." He argued.
"I..." she started trying to think of something to counteract that. "Am going to sit on you." She announced.
He waved his hands in front, "Oh Primus no." He said in a fake dramatic tone. "So. What did you see?" he asked eagerly, noticing a familiar object in her hand, "Hey, you found there vault? Is the whole ship frozen in time now?"
"Well i..."
"Caused a stir then?" he added as she slightly put a pout look on her face.
"Might have."
"I knew It." he boasted folding his arms, "but i don't think you would have done it on purpose, is what you'd like to say!"
"I'm not sure if your insulting me or complimenting me, your pretty mixed in that area." She said scratching her helm.
"They didn't hurt you right? Is what he's really trying to say." Bee asked nudging Smokescreen this time.
Smokescreen scratched the back of his helm, "We, feel bad for what happened." he said sympathetically.
she shook her head lightly "Nothing out of the ordinary. why? were you guys that worried?" she grinned.
"Don't joke about that. they could've done something worse MUCH worse." Bee scolded.
"Oh I-I'm sorry Bee, your right. hug?"
Bee rolled his optics, "Maybe after, when your on your feet."
"Did you spit on them?" Miko asked climbing onto the table.
"P-Pardon me?" she said puzzled.
"Your alright now, that's what matters." Jack finished.
She felt a flutter in her spark, which was odd with it being artificial but it was just one of those things you couldn't explain with words. But that Synthen made her think horribly. "Hey I'm only bleeding to death here."
"That's not funny Ellen." Ratchet said solemnly looking to Optimus.
"What? what's wrong?" she asked.
"Ratchet was, able to salvage what was left of the natural reserves." Optimus said.
"but?" She said.
"It is not enough to return you to active duty. You have to return to your original form this body cannot hold you." He finished.
"What? You mean i can't..."
"Optimus." Smokescreen spoke up, "couldn't we use that Energon cube found from our old base?"
"No, t-that's alright Smokey. You guys could get injured i won't take that what you could potentially need yourself." She said though was hard to say.
"Mm...what exactly is your kind of injury?" Smokescreen said.
"I won't let you out-thoughfulness me." Ellen said.
"Oh i get it." He said grinning.
"I could." Ratchet interrupted, "with some work get her back to a functioning status again, it will take a little time. But i will get you back out there if that's what you want."
"Thanks Ratch." she said.
"But this does bring out opportunity." Optimus then said.
"Like what?"
"First priority. Your education." He said as he slightly narrowed her eyes in an unknowst way as Optimus then lent in, "and perhaps rehabilitation."
"But my leg is almost..."
"Not you." He said noting to behind him.
She rolled her eyes to the right of them, "i don't think he would..."
"As i have mentioned, much has happened." He said.
"Yeah..." she said looking to this one big room that expressed no opportunity for privacy, "could, you guys..." she started as she made small circles motions with her fingers on the table, "i-i wouldn't ask but you know Fowlers too cheap to rent a room out anymore so..."
Ratchet intervened, "Er, Wheeljack, Bulkhead i need you to recover a few materials for me. Arcee i need you to put this Synthetic Energon i salvaged into containers, Smokescreen, Bumblebee. A little refining of one's skills wouldn't hurt." He stopped to rest, "Well go on, move."
Ellen let her mouth hang slightly, "Er, yeah. subtle." She said as they left in different directions, Ratchet being the escort. Her mouth turned crooked as she thought then shuffling a bit she tried to pull herself up, that is she tried to make her actions look that way.
"What are you attempting to do?" Optimus asked as she fell all over the place and he tried to support her.
"trying to scale you, can you kneel down a little, even when just trying to do somethings small it's a huge task, robot form or not." She said trying to pull him down a level.
"You should try to limit m-movement." He told her as she gave a strong tug on one of his antennas. She then made a slight huffing sound as she started to undo any wiring she was hooked up to so to lessen further damage. "Ellen." he said as she didn't give any attention that she was listening. but realizing the reason for her stubbornness he placed his hands around her just above the hip wound lifting her up.
"There, that's all you had to do." she complained as she was high enough to grab onto his shoulders.
"you could have been more directive, i cannot read you well if your climbing me as though you were scaling a wall of water." he said.
at this point she had made herself more comfortable as Optimus had gotten the short end of the stick and ended up carrying her in his arms, "Still surprisingly comfy, and good comparison i might add." she said leaning into him.
Ultra Magnus managed to sit himself up as he raised an eyebrow at him, in response Optimus' gave a thoughtful expression as he explained. "it's known as an attentive disorder, rooted from her fear of loss, which can be a form of rejection, death or separation." Optimus explained to him.
"The behavior is almost, parasitic." He expressed narrowing his optics with integrity.
"Da-ad. do you have to say that so coldly?" She said looking down.
"He only meant to define it clearly because, i prefer that explanations be unconcealed." Ultra Magnus said.
"Oh. well as long as you understand that the descriptions itself should be understood delicately. then again if your anything like Dad was when first coming here, your going to pretty frank a lot of the time" she said looking to the floor again. "let me find my feet." She said to Optimus.
He shook his head, "you can find the table." He said putting her down.
"Can't believe I'm going back, even at this most crucial point." She said folding her arms.
"No need for discouragement." Ultra Magnus said. "Need i remind you of my own injury?"
He made it prominent for her to stare at it for a long while, "if you were human i would be throwing up by now, we're just more gross that way." She said looking around as Optimus placed a hand on her shoulder.
"When Ratchet makes the transfer, we have to discuss what took place on the Nemesis." He told her.
"Discuss?" she questioned.
"Protocol." Ultra Magnus reminded.
"Well that I'm fine with Sir, but i hope it has some social protocol as well, like how are you doing? Or how is my throat after being clamped up against a wall by this fat hand that belonged to Megatron who by the way-"
"What else did he do?" Optimus interrupted.
"Well he..." she pointed to her chin, "that dent there, most if not all my injuries if I'm honest."
He bowed his head slightly as a nod, "i suspected as much." He said as he lifted her head with a finger, "it was fortunate he never decided to crush it. but i question why." He said.
she felt a sudden heat on her metallic cheeks, "Well i- wait, do i hear a little hostility in your voice?" she questioned teasingly.
"We are getting off subject." he said.
"Huh." she said suspiciously. "I was causing trouble, unstable and just willing to take anything down with thinking of the repercussions, and he knew it. But instead of just freezing him like i should've he has a way of speaking that makes you compelled to listen. For me, to listen. Such as debatable questions and curious thoughts. I-I'm sorry can we talk about this later I'm not feeling too good." She said holding her head as she lay herself down.
"I should not have roused those thoughts myself. We will discuss this later." He told her producing a reassuring smile.
"Hmmm, you gonna slap Megatron in the face?" she blurted.
"Are you requesting i do so?" he asked unknowing if she were serious in that statement.
"would you?" she grinned.
"Ellen." he started with fake sternness, "you know how i must be with personal gain."
"Just testing you." she said winking.
Ultra Magnus made a sound to gain there attention, "As uneasy as i still feel about this, the Predacon still exists but it's still an advantage nonetheless." Ultra Magnus said.
"Indeed Commander, although we must remain aware to there true intentions." Optimus started. "There is new light with every small achievement."
Ellen slightly scoffed, "if it's so light." She started as she looked to the specific area they were in. "How come we can't afford no light bulbs?"
Ellen felt uneasy herself; she had to somehow sneak that vial container that had the small shard of Dark Energon inside from her robotic body before Ratchet decided to make a scan of it when fixing Starlight. She wanted to test something, something that reminded her back when Unicron was stirring, those dreams she had when Dark Energon hazed the air, that lingered in her skin when restoring the Key to Vector Sigma. The animals, the auras of light, were representations of beings or objects.
So she lay there silent as Ultra Magnus and Optimus discussed the ultimate outcome of this war, she waited there for Ratchet to make the transfer but the only thing on her mind personally was what Megatron said.
"Primus...and Unicron." She thought shutting her optics, "An unnatural occurrence was made when both were in contact; i was born as a being of chaos, my flesh entwined with...the power of a Prime, my arm...a representation of Primus." She thought it to be ludicrous but again she had to accept those things that couldn't be explained as both were technically deities with immense power and if she could accept that, it opened up for possible theories. "I have to be sure, i-its stupid but i need to hold that shard in my hand if I'm thinking what i think I'm thinking then i could change certain outcomes before they even happen...Primus, Primus indeed."
A/N Aw man, Starscream, the Predacon, Megatron, Soundwave, I'm sorry for how much i torture you Ellen TT_TT so yeah sorry for some ludicrous scenes but i made for good interaction, but i apologize for all you Soundwave fans and to how gross that was as well ^^; please no hurt author? :3
so remember those dreams Ellen had waayyyyyy back? no? well i apologize in advance, but hey Synthen wasn't brought up again for over a season and a bit, they have a habit for that :P so yeah Dark Energon, nothing can POSSIBLY go wrong with that. +
so yeah, hope you liked this chapter and apologizes for any sucky bits, i personally think i went very wrong along the way with some scenes but not everything is perfect i just hope it was enjoyable. so Review, Fave, Follow if you want ^^ oh and all guest reviews i ALWAYS read as well even if i can't reply and appreciate it.
Oh one more thing, i've been making a long draft of it for a while now, but not sure whether to start uploading it yet or at least finish up my other stories. well you see its basically like a prequel to this story, Everything Ellen hints at or refers to in her childhood i was thinking about actually writing that part of her life, the start of her new life with Optimus. but let me know what you think of the idea because it wouldn't be like this one, it would be how both have to come to terms with how different it will be for them, but yeah i've always had the thought of doing it but maybe one day i'll upload the first chapter and see what you think and maybe continue
