Danny's POV

The O. W. L. exams were done and most of the fifth year students were taking a well deserved break.

"Where is Harry?" I asked Ron when me, Sam, and Tucker walked into the common room.

"I don't know" Ron said "He said he had a headache so he went to rest or something."

"Okay. I'll wake him up. Lunch is in only ten minutes" I said.

"What was the ghost you dealt with this time?" Ron asked.

"Only a few ecto-puses" I said "Easy as pie"

"Well I heard Umbridge has put up a small reward for a hundred galleons for any student that helps capture Phantom" Hermione said.

"That explains a few students trying to capture me" I said tapping my chin "Oh well. Without ghost hunting equipment they can't touch me. Literally!"

"Okay. Get Harry and we can go to lunch. I'm starving" Ron said.

"Are you always hungry?" Hermione said rolling her eyes.

I laughed as Ron and her started arguing and started walking up the stairs.

I reached the dormitory and opened the door to see a sleeping Harry in a panicked state.

"Harry!" I yelled rushing towards him and shaking him. He was flailing around and sweat covered his forehead.

"Alright...I'll need to go in and wake him up" I said to myself as I transformed and flew into Harry's dream.

I looked to see myself in a cathedral-sized room full of shelves and glass spheres. I was by row number ninety-seven. Two figures were before me. One in a long black cloak and a pale white face. His red eyes were like slits and he looked like a snake.

The other man looked extremely injured as he was on the floor, like a wounded animal.

"Just kill me" the man said looking up in defiance. It was Sirius!

"Undoubtedly I shall in the end," said the other man in a cold voice "But you will fetch it for me first, Black... You think you have felt pain thus far?"

"Crucio!" he yelled and Sirius screamed in pain and twisted his body in ways that made me cringe.

Right then I was chucked out of Harry's dream and back onto the dormitory floor.

Harry was sitting up breathing heavy.

"Harry! Holy crap that was a bad dream!" I said transforming.

"Its...Sirius.. Oh no" he said hopping up and out of the bed.

"Wait a second...oh no.. the headache..Sirius is in trouble" I said putting the pieces together. Harry said how whenever he got visions his head hurt like hell.

"We need to get Professor McGonagall" I said running down the stairs with Harry.

"Harry! About time I'm starving" Ron said.

"What's wrong?" Sam instantly said seeing our panicked states.

"Sirius..he's in trouble. We need to help him." I said breathing heavy.

"We need to get Professor McGonagall" Harry said.

"McGonagall isn't here!" Ron said "Umbridge and her goons tried to sac Hagrid but McGonagall wouldn't let them last night and got hit with a few stunning spells. Hagrid left and is in hiding right now!"

I cursed under my breath "Of all the days..."

"Harry! Tell us what exactly happened" Hermione said.

"I was in the Ministry...the Department of Mysteries I think...Voldemort was torturing Sirius..he's..he's gonna kill him" Harry said.

"Look, I'm sorry," cried Hermione, "but neither of you are making sense, and we've got no proof for any of this, no proof Voldemort and Sirius are even there"

"I saw it!" Harry yelled.

"Me too. I overshadowed him. It's like with the snake and Ron's dad" I said.

"We need to get to the Ministry then" Harry said.

"We?!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Yes! You don't think I'm going to let him die!" Harry yelled.

"I could fly only a few of us...that would take to long...maybe brooms..but not all of us have one...and" I said muttering to myself.

"Hey" Ginny said walking up to us "What are you all yelling about. Me, Luna, and Neville all heard you outside"

Luna and Neville both waved and Ginny looked at us.

"Ginny this has nothing to do with you" Ron said.

"Wait...they can help us" Hermione said.

"Wait...you're on board with us now?" I said.

"Listen," she said urgently, "Harry, we need to establish whether Sirius really has left headquarters"

"He has! I saw it Hermione!" Harry yelled.

"Harry, I'm begging you, please!" said Hermione desperately. "Please let's just check that Sirius isn't at home before we go charging off to London if we find out he's not there then I swear I won't try and stop you, I'll come, I'll d-do whatever it takes to try and save him."

"Hermione is right...Voldemort might be trying to draw you out Harry." Tucker said "It makes sense. If Voldemort figured out that you can see stuff, he would show you something like this to try and lure you out"

"Okay, then we need to contact the Order somehow" I said.

"We'll have to use Umbridge's fire and see if we can contact him," said Hermione, who looked positively terrified at the thought. "We'll draw Umbridge away again, but we'll need lookouts, and that's where we can use Ginny, Luna, Neville"

"That's a good plan. I can get Youngblood and Peves to maybe make a distraction" I said.

"Okay. Let's go" Sam said and we all ran out of the room.

I put both of my fingers to my mouth and let out a loud whistle.

Youngblood soon appeared right in front of me.

"Danny! What's up?" he asked.

"We need Umbridge to be occupied for the next few minutes. Can you do that?" I asked.

"Sure!" he said flying off "Peeves! Get the feathers!" he yelled.

"Okay. Umbridge will be out of her office now" I said.

"How did you do that?" Luna asked.

"Well..." I said looking at Sam.

"We knew Youngblood before he became a ghost" Sam said.

"Oh okay" Luna said smiling.

We raced through the corridors and reached Umbridge's office. I juggled the door handle.

"Its locked" I said.

Hermione then waved her wand and unlocked the door.

We stepped inside the pink office nightmare and Harry ran to the fireplace.

Luna, Ginny, and Neville all stood outside as Harry was about to try and contact the Order.

"Just yell something about ghosts if you see Umbridge" I said and Ginny nodded.

Harry then threw a pinch of powder into the fire which then turned green. Harry then stuck his head into the flames.

"So what in the world is he doing?" Tucker said.

"Its floo powder. You could transport yourself to another fireplace or like what Harry is doing, contacting someone through the fireplaces." Hermione said.

"Ghosts!" I heard Ginny yell.

"We need to go." I said yanking Harry out of the fire.

"Wait! No!" he yelled.

Sam and Tucker instantly grabbed my hand and Hermione's and Ron's as well. I was about to turn invisible when Umbridge burst into the office.

"Crap on a cracker" I muttered as I couldn't turn invisible then. She had seen us.

"Stop!" she yelled and I saw a few of her Slytherin lackeys, including Malfoy behind her, holding Ginny, Luna, and Neville.

"Get their wands!" she yelled and the other kids wrestled us, grabbing all of our wands.

Luckily I still had my ghost powers but I couldn't reveal them now. Not unless things go desperate.

"Who were you contacting?" Umbridge yelled.

"No one.." Harry said.

"Liar! With whom have you been communicating?" she yelled.

"Clearly, it was very important for you to talk to somebody. Was it Albus Dumbledore? Or the half-breed, Hagrid? I doubt it was Minerva McGonagall, I hear she is still too ill to talk to anyone..." she said.

"It's none of your business who I talk to," Harry snarled.

"Very well, Mr. Potter . . . I offered you the chance to tell me freely. You refused. I have no alternative but to force you. Draco fetch Professor Snape." Umbridge said forcing Harry into a chair while a beefy Slytherin held my arms.

Draco left and returned with Professor Snape.

"You wanted to see me, Headmistress?" said Snape seeing all of us struggling to get free.

"Ah, Professor Snape," said Umbridge, smiling widely and standing up again. "Yes, I would like another bottle of Veritaserum, as quick as you can, please."

"I have no more. You took my last bottle only a few days ago" Snape said.

"Can't you make more?" Umbridge asked sweetly.

"It takes a full moon cycle to mature. I can have more in a month" Snape said.

"A month!? Umbridge exclaimed and I smirked "But I need it this evening, Snape! I have just found Potter using my fire to communicate with a person or persons unknown!"

"Really?" Snape said looking at Harry and raising an eyebrow "Well it doesn't surprise me. Potter has never been one to follow the rules."

"Get out of my office!" Umbridge yelled at Snape who nodded and turned to leave when Harry shouted "He's got Padfoot! He's got Padfoot at the place where it's hidden!"

Snape stopped in his tracks.

"Padfoot? Padfoot? What is he talking about?" Umbridge said looking between Snape and Harry.

"I have no idea" Snape said coolly and left the office.

"Very well," she said, and she pulled out her wand. "Very well... I am left with no alternative... This is more than a matter of school discipline... This is an issue of Ministry security...Yes...yes..."

"What are you doing?" I growled and Umbridge lifted a wand to Harry.

"You are forcing me Potter...I don't want to...but maybe the Cruciatus Curse will loosen your tongue." Umbridge said.

"No! I yelled struggling against the Slytherin.

"The Minister wouldn't want you to break the law Professor" Hermione cried.

"Umbridge! If you cast that spell I swear..." I growled my eyes glowing a bright toxic green.

The color drained from her face at the sight.

"We'll tell you!" Hermione cried out.

"No!" Harry yelled.

"She will force it out of you anyway. Tell her Harry" Hermione said.

"No I won't" Harry said.

"Tell her about Phantom" Hermione said.

I stiffened at the sound of my alter ego's name.

"Phantom? What about Phantom?" Umbridge said turning to Hermione.

"Tell her you were contacting him" Hermione said.

Now I was confused. I was right here and Harry wasn't contacting me. Hermione was trying to trick Umbridge but I couldn't tell where she was going with this.

"Ah! So you are working with that criminal!" Umbridge said "Well what were you saying to him!?"

"We-we were" Hermione sai struggling.

"Release her!" Umbridge said and the Slytherin released her. Hermione then held her head in her hands and was sobbing, but I couldn't see any tears.

"We were t-trying to t-tell h-im that-that Dumbledore" Hermione said between sobs.

"Dumbledore!? Tell him what? Is he trying to attack the Ministry?" Umbridge said.

"Yes! Ph-phantom was recruiting an a-army of g-g-ghosts" Hermione said.

"All the ghosts that attacked the school! Yes! It make perfect sense now!" Umbridge exclaimed "I must alert Fudge at once!"

"No! Phantom is already about to move. If you alert Fudge now he will just disappear with everyone of the other ghosts" I said.

"Yes...yes...we need to surprise him..Where is he?" Umbridge asked.

"I'm not showing them" Hermione said pointing to the Slytherins.

"You are not in the position to make such demands" Umbridge said.

"She means that you can't take them all" I said.

"And why not?" Umbridge said.

"Be-because Phantom can overshadow them. Then you would be fighting yourselves" I said "Its smarter to take a small group and surprise him and capture him. If you do that all the other ghosts will leave"

"How do you know this?" Umbridge asked.

"I know a few of the ghosts Phantom is working with. They care only about themselves and will bolt if he isn't there" I said "My town Amity Park was attacked almost daily by these ghosts. They will leave is Phantom is captured"

"Yes...yes..then Mr. Potter, Ms. Granger, and Mr. Fentom will join me in capturing Phantom" Umbridge said.

"Professor!" Draco protested.

"Silence Draco" Umbridge said "I am a fully qualified Ministry official, Malfoy, do you really think I cannot handle three wandless teenagers alone?"

"But Phantom!" Draco said.

"I can give you something that will allow you to not be overshadowed!" I said.

"There" Umbridge said then turning to me "What will allow me to keep control?"

"Umm a spell. A special spell." I said "Just wave your wand over yourself and say 'Spiritus non habeatus' " I said.

Umbridge did so and nothing happened.

"It didn't work" she said.

"Yeah it did. There was a small change in light. Like a clear wrapping appeared, protecting you" I said.

"I do feel different" Umbridge said.

"Yeah! I saw it too!" Sam said.

"It was only there for a few moments" Hermione said.

"Very well. Show me to Phantom" Umbridge said leading us out the door.

We walked to the grounds, slightly following Hermione.

"So he was in Hagrid's hut?!" Umbridge said as we reached the small hut.

"No. Phantom couldn't hid that many ghosts in there" Hermione said "He is in the forest"

"Yes! All the creatures in there would create a perfect environment for that filth" Umbridge said.

We walked into the forest and I was praying Hermione had a great plan.
