Yoda, Padme, Luke, and Leia had made it to Dagobah without much of a problem. Yoda had gotten a ship fairly simply and the trip itself was only sixteen hours since the ship had hyper speed. The children slept for most of the trip and that gave the former queen of Naboo a chance to send a transmission to Chewy who was still safe and sound with a Jedi Yoda knew very well. As of right now they were still in the ship having decided to stay there for the night and the next day Yoda would scout the area and see if he could build some sort of shelter. This way they could listen to any transmissions that may have information about the attack on Tatooine or warn them if the 'Death Star' was headed in their direction.
Padme was reclining in one of the seats upfront as she looked up at the stars wondering if her husband was doing the same. Did he know what happened to Tatooine? Had he known all along and couldn't do anything because it would blow his cover or it had come as a complete surprise? Her heart was aching with worry over her husband because she had no idea how he was or if it were alright or not. What if the 'Death Star' went to Naboo next? Would Anakin think she was there and do something dangerous and rash in order to stop the attack from happening? She sure hoped not because it was more than her life and the lives of her babies at risk. It was vital he keep his cool for this plan to work; he couldn't focus on only her and the twins, he needed to remember there were millions of other lives counting on him as well.
Yoda came and sat next to her after checking the ship to make sure everything was secure for the night. The master Jedi couldn't be sure if someone had followed them or not and it was better to be safe than sorry. The small creature did not say anything as he sat because he could tell she had a lot on her mind and if she wanted him to know what was bothering her then she would tell him. For now he was content with just sitting in silence. Sometimes silence was the best conversation you could have if the time called for it.
"Can he do it?" The question left Padmes lips before she had time to even think about it. "Anakin I mean; do you think he kill Palpatine?"
Yoda rubbed his chin in thought. "Defeat him he can I believe. Underestimate young Skywalker I do not."
She nodded accepting his answer. "I agree that Anakin beats whatever odds are thrown his way, but sometimes I wonder if he would have been better off without me in his life."
"Saved him from slavery you did." Yoda countered quickly. "Happiness to his life you brought and chance of a better life."
"I'm not sure that is true." Padme replied as she continued to gaze at the stars. "Yes, we freed him from a life of slavery, but we also took him away from his mother and thrust him in to a world he did not understand and wasn't completely accepted in. If we had never landed on Tatooine he never would have become a Jedi and if he had never become a Jedi, he never would have gotten tangled in Palpatines web of lies."
"Think that way I did once until realize without him Luke and Leia would never be." The green Jedi master smiled slightly at the thought of the two sleeping children. "Happens for a reason everything and revealed soon the truth will be as what great purpose lies ahead for Anakin and your family."
"I suppose we will." She agreed with a deep sigh full of worry. "Whether we want to know or not."
Both became silent after that as they got lost in their own thoughts. Padme thought about what Yoda said and she hoped he was right. Things were a mess right now, but there were a few things she knew for sure and one of them was she loved Anakin and no matter how this turned out, she would stick by his side. Her mother once told her that if you love someone you stick with them through anything good or bad. You couldn't just run when the going got tough and the former queen believed that statement to be true. The true test of love was getting through the hard times and working at it no matter how hopeless a situation may seem.
When she was queen there are had been hard decisions she had to make, but it was nothing to the things she faced now. Being held hostage, almost dying, it all paled compared to what everyone was currently facing. Looking up at the stars once more she send a silent prayer to the gods above asking he keep her family safe and allow them to get through this war in one piece. She had already lost her husband once and she couldn't go through it for a second time. She needed her husband and the babies needed their father so she could only pray he didn't do anything stupid due to his worry. Right now he had more important things to focus on as did she.

AN: Hey guys, I am sorry I haven't updated in a while, but things have been hectic. I am also sorry this chapter is short, but I wanted to get back in to writing the characters before more action scenes. I hope you all had great holidays and I hope you all like this chapter even though it sucks.
Please R&R like always!
