I just want to put out there what Ryu, Shinzo, and Shinku sound like.

Chapter 12: Ryu's journey begins

Two months after his battle with Kyokai, Ryu returned to his training with Shinku, the ten tailed dragon within him. He sat in the lotus position on a table in the guild hall with his eyes closed, Mira, Natsu, Helen, and Kura as well as the others of their generation sat around him staring.

"what do you think he's doing in there" Elfman asked. Ryu's nose twitched and he reeled his head back.

"duck" Kura told everyone before Ryu expelled a puff of flames with loud sneeze. Everyone returned to staring at the boy being surprisingly silent.

"i don't think those kids have ever been this quite before" Wakaba spoke.

"no joke" Macao agreed.

Ryu's mind scape-

Ryu dodged Shinzo's left hook and narrowly avoided a low sweep before jumping a few feet back. The girl rushed him and threw another combo that sent the boy reeling back.

"i don't see how this is gonna help me control the dragon king form Shinku" Ryu whined to the mighty red dragon supervising the sparring session.

"we are try to push your body as well as magic reserves in hopes of you returning to that state"

"what do you mean 'in hopes' i thought you knew about this"

"the dragon king state is unique to dragon slayers, it has been nearly 300 years since i have seen it, not since my last student as well as child" Ryu's ears pirked up at his words and rose to his feat.

"wait, wait, wait, back up, you mean there was a crimson dragon slayer before me!?" Shinku nodded.

"he attained the form of Dragon King when he was a little older then you are now, his friends were in danger and instinct took over and the form revealed itself" Ryu turned to look at Shinzo before speaking again.

"what was his name?"

"his name... was Gurren Ryu"

Ryu returned to his body and shot up from his spot on the table nearly giving everyone around him a heart attack.

"Mom!" Ryu ran over to his mother who was sitting with the master and Ivan.

"whats up Ryu?" She chuckled as the boy hopped onto her lap.

"you said i was named after a friend of Master Mavis, what was his name?"

"whats the sudden interest son" Ivan asked.

"i just what to know is all, it may help with my training"

"well in that case, it was our ancestor, Gurren Ryu" Ryu's eyes went wide before he turned to the master.

"do we have any records of him in the guild library?!" Makarov shook his head.

"none, he didn't really leave a diary about his life mi' boy"

"then would the magic council know about him, at all?!"

"maybe but how are you exactly going to get there" Ryu stared at his feat in uncertainty. He hopped down from his mother's lap and ran to the front doors of the guild.

"i've been staying up late for the last few weeks"

"i knew i saw your bed room light on!" Kura yelled. Ryu glared at her then shook his head.

"any way, i've been studying some of dad's old books and scrolls and i think i've got his ace spell down" Ryu took a running stance and a deep breath.

"ACCEL STEP" Ryu took of with a burst of speed and raced through the town clearing the forest and mere minutes. He screeched to a stop just outside the forest and looked back in excitement.

"sweet, it worked!" Ryu hopped into the air and punched it. He sped back to the guild and kicked up a gust off wind as he screeched to a stop. Everyone stared in awe at Ryu as he grinned triumphantly.

"you mastered you're dad's spell so fast..." Akiza said wide eyed. She grabbed Ryu in a death hug and squeezed him tight.

"i'm so proud of you!" Kura laughed at her brother and Helen smiled happily. Akiza set the boy down before he dashed over to the doors.

"master, can you call ahead and let the council know i'm on my way?" Makarov nodded.

"sure thing sonny" Ryu thanked the master and sped off.

Ryu reached the magic council building in no time at all and walked up to the gates. He knocked on the front gate and called.

"helloooooooo, anyone home!?" after a minute Ryu got impatient and jumped over the gate. He sped through the facility to see guards unconscious. Ryu followed the path of destruction. He reached the chamber of which the etherion cannon is charged, there he saw a boy around his age who wore a black long sleeve collared jacket with blue trimmings and and white undershirt, a pair of black jeans and strange looking shoes, he also had spiky black hair akin to Ryu's. The boy turned and glared at Ryu, he was holding the core crystal that powered the etherion cannon.

"hey that doesn't belong to you!" the boy jumped down and sped out of the chamber. Ryu followed him as the two raced out of the facility at great speeds. Ryu was suprised at the boy's speed and the fact that he was able to keep up with him. two raced until they reached a large clearing and the boy leaped atop a ledge over looking the clearing.

"what's your name friend?!" Ryu walked over to the ledge slowly.

"with this, it begins... the destruction of this world..." the boy's words reached Ryu's ears and he tensed up.

"i don't know who you are or what your doing with that, but if your trying to destroy the world that i'll have to stop you" The boy looked down at Ryu and cocked an eyebrow.

"you are the jinchuriki of the great dragon, you are abused by the people of this world, what do you care of their destruction?"

"it's because my family are some of these people, So i'm gonna have to ask you to give that back!" Ryu lunged at the boy only for him to vanish in a flash of light. Ryu landed where the boy once stood and looked around to see the boy a few meters away.

"my name... is Konran Ryu, i am the Chaos Dragon Slayer, i have business to attend to so, farewell!" the boy known as Konran vanished in a flash of light, blinding Ryu.

Ryu looked around to find no sign of the boy, he cursed and cast the accel step spell and raced off to Fairy tail.

Ryu returned to see the rune knights gathered around Fairy tail. He worked his way through the crowd of rune knights to see the head officer speaking with the master.

"Gramps, whats up?" Makarov and the officer turned to Ryu as did everyone in the guild hall with looks of worry on their faces. The officer walked over and stood before Ryu.

"Ryu Fudo, my name is Lahar, im the head captain of the Custody Enforcement Unit, and by order of the magic council you are under arrest!"

"what!? For what!?" Ryu staggered back in shock.

"for stealing the Etherion core! Multiple Rune knights place you at the scene earlier today"

"it wasn't me, it was this other guy named Konran, he stole it and i chased after him, but he got away!"

"can you prove your claims" Lahar asked. Ryu looked at his mom and sisters and turned back to Lahar.

"...no..." he muttered. Lahar nodded. He took out a pair of magic cuffs and locked them on Ryu's wrists and walked with him followed by the other knights to the train.

"mister captain, can we go with our brother at least?..." Lahar looked over at Helen who was backed by Kura and their mother. Ryu looked at them and grinned slightly.

Ryu sat between his sisters and mother aboard the train with the some of the knights and Lahar. He stared at the cuffs intesly when Helen spoke.

"Ryu don't worry, we'll get this all sorted out in know time" Ryu looked at her then back to the cuffs.

'Alright Shinku, ready?...'

"of course boy!"

Shinku poured his magic power into Ryu's arms in the cuffs causing the the version two cloak to form on his arms and swell up. With a grunt and a growl Ryu shattered the cuffs sending the pieces flying then leaped away from his seat over to a door leading off the train.

"what do you think your doing!?" Lahar shot from his seat. Akiza and her daughters prepared to stop Ryu before he blasted the wall and door off the train. He turned and looked at everyone, he looked down seeing the waterfall cavern they were passing over. He turned back and grinned.

"This rides, to boring, no food or movies, i'm outta here!" He dove off the train into the caver not before grabbing a piece of wood from the tracks. His family ran to the edge and watched as Ryu plummeted into the cavern.

Ryu looked down as he placed his feat on the board and came down on the water. He surfed over the raging rapids for a good few minutes before he was taken down by a large wave and everything went black.

Ryu woke up on beach of sorts and looked around groggily before catching sight of a boy with blonde hair and brown clothes and passed out again.
