Eventually Padme had drifted off in to a rather fitful sleep only to be awoken a few hours later by a transmission coming from the section of space where Tatooine had once been located. 'Can anybody hear me? This is Jonash Solo and I have injured people on my ship, they are survivors from Tatooine. My ship has been damaged and I won't make it to the nearest planet without assistance. Please, if anyone can hear me, I have survivors from Tatooine who need more medical care than I can provide.'

Padme quickly hit a button that would record the message and play it back. She then ran a scan of the area the message had come from to make sure there were not any other ships indicating it to be a trap of some kind. When she had verified there were no other ships around, she decided on what she would do. Now she knew Yoda would be unhappy with what she was about to do, but what choice did she really have? There were injured people out there who needed her help and help them she would despite what the master Jedi may think or say.

Knowing she had to hurry, the former queen of Naboo left a holo message for Yoda. Since there was only one ship she knew she would have to take the escape pod which meant room for only her. Leaving the twins behind wasn't something she really wanted to do, but taking them with her was reckless and dangerous. Besides, she knew Yoda would look after them and defend them with his life if need be. Hopefully she wouldn't be gone for very long.

After recording the holo message, Padme kissed her children softly before moving their crib next to Yoda. "Mommy is going to miss you two, but I will be back I promise. Master Yoda will keep you safe until I return."

After making sure she had everything she needed, the former senator got into the escape pod and put in the location she desired to travel to. the small shuttlecraft lifted off the ground and soared high in the air before shooting straight up and disappearing out of sight. For its side the little pod sure could fly pretty fast and a memory of Padme watching Anakin race passed through her mind making her dizzy for a few seconds before receding the back of her mind once again to be lost with so many other memories.

"Anakin, I know you can't hear me and this is crazy, but l am out here alone and talking to you makes me feel closer to you. For all I know you may do the same thing so perhaps it isn't as insane as I first thought or I could simply be making up excuses to deal with my bout of insanity." She paused to sigh before continuing. "I wonder what you are doing right now. Are you thinking of me or the twins? Are you off on some dangerous mission the Sith Lord assigned of you? Are you sleeping? Training? Maybe you're meditating. well, no matter where you are or what you may be doing, I am right there beside you. I miss you terribly and yet I know we both have things that must be done before we can be together and have the family life we both want.

Luke and Leia miss you as well, but I think, even though they are still so young, I think they realize this is something you needed to do just as I hope they will understand as well as they can that I had to help Jonash Solo when I received the distress transmission. Oh Ani, Tatooine is gone and I fear what will happen if Palpatine isn't taken down and taken down soon. All I wish is for you to be careful and to come back to us quickly. Well I love you Ani, though I will go for now and try to get some rest since I have the auto pilot on. Remember, even if you cannot see me, I am with you always."

Padme yawned as she gazed out the stars quickly passing by. Space really was beautiful, she had never taken the time to appreciate that beauty for and she was glad for finally being allowed to appreciate its beauty. When this was all over she was going to have Anakin take them on a vacation in a small ship stopping at different planets. It would be nice to have family time with no threat on their lives; it would be good for the kids and Chewy would love it. Maybe they would even find a nice planet to settle on where they could make new memories which where not tainted by the past. Padme closed her eyes as she smiled and thought about what she hoped the future would bring.

AN: I am so sorry I have not updated in a long time, but my dad had a heart attack, he is doing better now, but he is still sick. He actually caught a shoplifter and that started his heart attack, but he caught him and he was so proud. My own health issues are worse so things have been tense and I worry about the stress my mom and dad have and I am sorry for the rant, I just wanted to explain why I was gone so long. Anyways, sorry if this chapter sucks, but I had to get back in to writing this story.
